I have eaten here three times with a guest, all for appetizers. The menu is dominated by fried food, typical diner fare. The first time the chicken tenders were excellent, and a large portion. I thought that this would become my usual here and I was motivated to return. The very next week, the tenders were suddenly tall and thin. Half of the dish was batter. It was as if 6ix suddenly decided to put its diners on a diet. I complained, and the waiter confirmed that it was the first day that they changed the preparation of the dish. So I crossed that off my list and grudgingly gave them another try. The next visit I had fried calamari. They had no real flavor to speak of, and the wait staff took forever to check on me so I could request additional marinara sauce for it. The lettuce was not at all fresh. I do not recall ever seeing such unmotivated and uninterested wait staff, to quote a previous post. They seem to move at a glacial pace, with an doomed air of resignation. It was actually painful to watch them walk, as their size is alarming. Most of the diners have some complimentary discount from the casino. They will always do very good volume due to their location, so very little effort is required to keep this middling operation afloat. The restaurant’s environment is unremittingly stale and languid. Décor is badly in need of updating. The time has come to deep six 6ix, which merits a generous two. Snake eyes.

Decided to eat here for a late breakfast. It took forever for someone to take our order. Once the food came out part of the order was wrong. Wait staff was completely unmotivated and uninterested. Never ever eating here again.

On the morning of February 20, 2014, I planned to have breakfast at Bally’s 6ix Bistro. I walked in at 7:00 am and ordered blueberry pancakes, sausage and orange juice. It took 20 minutes for the orange juice to arrive. At 7:50, the pancakes and sausage had not been served, so I paid for the orange juice and left. I will not return to 6ix Bistro, no matter how many times I stay Bally’s.

Nothing fancy, nothing great, nothing noteworthy, but then again nothing bad. Take it for what it is, a Bally’s coffee shop type of restaurants that serves adequate food at a reasonable price. Slow wait and service, but friendly.

Went here for breakfast prior to continuing the fun that was Unilocal Winter Break. We all ordered a la carte from the menu. We were seated pretty quickly and our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I two eggs with hash browns, turkey sausage, and toast. Everything was cooked well and it was delicious. The rest of the group had pancakes with eggs and bacon, as well as Banana Bread French Toast — I tell you, I took a bite of it and it was really good! Overall, it was a good meal… best breakfast I ever had? No… but it was tasty and if I was in AC looking for breakfast, I would go back.

According to our Unilocal Winter Break itinerary, the all you can eat crab legs special was supposed to be $ 5 off, so why not give it a chance even with their über low ratings. Service was a tad slow, but we were able to grab someone’s attention and things got rolling. With the all you can eat crab legs there’s also steak, salad and a pasta side. The salad consisted of the inside bitter part of iceberg lettuce, the white part, no green, a little bit of shredded carrots and 1 cherry tomatoes. All in all, not good. However, props on the delicious dressing. The dressing was surprisingly good. Next, came the pasta side. The pasta side was a dish of spaghetti with grated cheese already on top. The sauce? Not so good. The spaghetti cooked al dente to firm, so not so bad… but overall, not so good. The sauce needs fixing. Next came the crab legs and steak, which I asked for medium rare. I’ve got to say not too shabby. The steak seems like it was previously frozen, but it was cooked almost perfect and could’ve used some seasoning. It’s a very thin steak. I doused it with A1. The crab legs were pretty damn good. They weren’t really overlooked… as in the meat didn’t stick to the shell most of the time. I worked my way through the first serving(3 clusters) and now I’m waiting for my second. They serve it with nice warmed melted, clarified butter. Can’t really tell you if it’s really real butter or not because I tend to go without. I went for several more rounds of crab legs, I think this is what they made best. I’m gonna go ahead and give them a thumbs up for service. My server did check on me to see if I needed more food. He also brought things out in a timely manner. And… he even gave us the $ 5 discount. Win for that! The staff is nice, though sometimes seem to be there to just do their job. I’m not sure I would go back, but I could be convinced by the crab legs…

Heck yeah a breakfast buffet! A moderately pricey one. There was a fair amount of food. Just missing the breakfast rush, we were sat within a few minutes and were kept waiting for instruction and drink orders. The wait staff seamed a bit tired as if they were nursing a hangover. The highlight was the ham. I should say ham candy! It was so sweet and tasty. Had a pound of bacon as a side. My egg option came from the omelet guy. He was very enthusiastic making his omelets. Fruit selection was very nice and fresh.

I came in around 5pm and was seated immediately. Ordered immediately and received my food immediately. I ate like a neanderthal and finished within 10 minutes. I ordered an open face beef sammich and a black and white milkshake. The sandwich had a tinge of sweetness to it which threw me off. Kinda gross. Ate it anyway seeing as I was deprived of food for six hours. The mashed potatoes were okay. The black and white milkshake was really good. My service was good. The waiter moved in pretty quickly each and every time. I requested my check after I received my shake. I’m not sure if I got sick because I decided to get drinks after I had the milkshake or if it was the food. Could’ve quite possibly been the milkshake alcohol combination. I really don’t care about the order of the things that I eat. When I crave something I buy it but the aftermath wasn’t pretty…

This place might get an unfair advantage simply because I got to go to a breakfast buffet in a casino after a night of drinking. Nothing really special about the selection. Eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries. The ham was really good though. Tender and delicious. All hit the spot. I got two omelettes, about a lb of bacon, a sausage, some ham and home fries. Way too much food, but I expected that considering the conditions. What surprised me was the staff seemed lost. One guy told us we can get juice at the buffet. That ended up being completely false. Our waiter stood behind the barrier, and I had to signal him over in order to order my grapefruit juice. And I only knew he was our waiter, b/c Peter K was at the table when he dropped off the bill. We didn’t see him at all before that. We ordered our grapefruit juice through someone else who didn’t charge us. I ordered one more from the waiter, and he tacked it onto the bill! Maybe the staff drank more than I did at the Toga party!

I would not go back to this place. Sat in line waiting to be seated when there were very clearly multiple empty tables in the place, and watched the table next to us not be cleared for the entirety of our meal. As soon as we sat down, the waitress looked at us and loudly sighed; we asked her in a friendly way if they were busy or just understaffed. She proceeded to complain to us about how she’s being forced to work overtime, and gave us terrible service the rest of the meal. It wasn’t our fault that she was working longer than intended that night. We got no refill offers our entire meal, no one checking on how our food was, and no help on when to use our coupon — when we asked her, she cut us off and practically yelled«I ain’t got nothin’ to do with that, ask up front.» The food was nothing special either and not worth the price even after the coupon. I got the Guinness Pub Burger and my friend got the crab cakes, neither were stellar but they also weren’t terrible. We ended our frustrating evening by waiting in another line to pay for our food on the way out. We were on the verge of complaining to the cashier but the line had grown behind us due to her speed and we didn’t want to hold anyone up any longer. Completely dissatisfied.

So, 4 am in Atlantic City is never good for business, anywhere, ever. A little intoxicated, slightly tired and very hungry, my friends and I were back at Bally’s before we realized we really wanted some late night munchies. Bally’s literally has nothing but this place. On a Saturday night there were 2 servers and a manager. After about a 25 minute wait for the server to come over(only about 8 tables at this point) it took about another 30 – 40 minutes for our food to come out. The food was eh(little shoulder shrug here). I can tell you that they aren’t winning a James Beard Award anytime soon, but for a 4am turkey club, I was pretty damn happy. So the questions remains, why did our food not come out 30 minutes earlier? Figure it out and either pump up your kitchen staff or wait staff. You’re a casino dammit, you have the money to make sure your customers are happy so they’ll come and lose more money at your gaming tables.

Yikes! My experience here devolved into a complete and utter debacle. Me and Young Dreezy went here with our ladies to grub after getting completely blasted at various bars in AC. We sat down at 3AM. Yes, we were wrecked, but we were also under control. We ordered a ton of shit. I went with an angus bacon cheeseburger, gravy fries, and a black-n-white milkshake. Fast forward to 3:30AM. No food has come, and no waiter has given us a status update. I proceed to start sliding our water glasses off the edge of the table. One after the other, each water glass crashes onto the filthy Bally’s carpet below our table, but no servers take notice. Fast forward to 4AM. Still no food. I start freaking out. Dr Dre and the ladies tell me to stop acting like a gorilla. I can’t control myself. I hunt down a server and attempt to calmly explain to them that I no longer want my order, but the rest of my party still wants theirs(if I hadn’t been there with women, I would’ve flipped the table over and walked out). Eventually, at what I believe was 4:30AM, the food came. They brought my burger and fries, which I politely sent back to the kitchen. No sign or mention of my milkshake. The rest of my crew ate their food and said it was terrible. The only reason that I couldn’t give this place 1 star is because I didn’t actually eat the food. This restaurant is a f’ing joke. If you ever go here, you deserve the punishment…

After two meals at Café Roma, we definitely wanted something different. Since Bally’s is «attached» to Caesars, we went here for dinner. There was a bit of a line at 9:30 pm(since I do not have a Diamond Card, where there was no line). There was a large party in front of us, but we were finally seated. It wasn’t too crowded, so there must have been waitstaff issues. It took a while to get service though, I ordered the chicken wings, sauce on the side and the prime rib special. My wife ordered the steak and eggs. The waiter asked if it was okay to bring out the chicken wings at the same time since it was taking a long time to prepare that order. I said that was fine. The chicken wings are good, having the sauce on the side makes them better. The prime rib was okay, a wee bit tough, but fine. The mashed potatoes were definitely«home made» since I was finding huge chunks of unmashed potatoes. My wife’s steak was too under done for her liking and the waited brought it back in perfect order. It was around $ 60, which is about what I expected. One negative is that(at least the previous time we went), they do not offer free refills on fountain drinks, only iced tea, really!!! But still, you don’t have many options late at night in Atlantic City, I think this is one of the better ones.

I’ve been to 6ix a bunch of times and it’s a very average coffee shop. Prices are decent for a casino and the food is ok. It’s good, never great. The service is spotty — sometimes really good and other times really slow. The one thing that stands out is how bad the coffee is. It’s the most disgusting brown water anywhere — ever. Keep your order simple and you won’t be disappointed. Eat at the counter for quickest service. Breakfast sliders are great for a hangover. 6ix isn’t anything special, but it does the trick if you’re at Bally’s and want a bite without going outside.
