Maloney’s Uptown

I think I just have a natural vibe for dive places. Okay it wasn’t totally dive, but pretty sketchy around the outside & inside.
Great place for cheap good drinks & people watching. Yup, several drinks latter, I was having a blast & looking for a mechanical bull to ride.
Staff was friendly, not the cleanest place, but fun.
What’s a girl to do? When in a dive, jump & hold your nose, LOL.

We saw the Unilocal reviews and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Parker is one owner and the bartender-​Bonnie was a treat. Both are so personal and talked to us about the place and other locations. We ordered the pickled plate and it was delicious. They make all their pickled veggies in house. We had pickles, cucumbers, carrots, olives, gherkins. All so good! Had Moscow mule and several beers. Would really recommend this place. It’s a block off boardwalk-​close to Irish Bar and Pic a lily pub.

Awful wait staff here. Sat down and waited ten minutes and was never greeted. I made eye contact with three different people and still was never greeted. I actually searched for other places to eat while sitting at my table.
The place must be struggling since the visitors authority recommended this place. Parking lot looked really shady at night. I mean dark and scary like I could get mugged.

Maloneys is a great place to have some cheap drinks and great fresh food for under 15 bucks.
Fish tacos are excellent!
Usually some pretty cool events every night with discounts and specials.
Being a local I enjoy hanging out here, foods good drinks are cheap and you still have money to hit the casinos or boardwalk when you’re done.
I’ve found myself there all night a time or to lol.

Under new ownership, great place for a quick bite, I enjoy playing pool waiting for the night life to start, go there all the time, great food prices and full of interesting things.

Maloney’s is a weird, offhand joint on Tennessee Ave. in AC. I had never been there before and was really skeptical of what I should expect.
Luckily, a lot of people I knew from high school had stopped by for the holiday season, so Maloney’s was full with jovial spirit. Nonetheless, the bar had a bit of a sketch vibe; maybe it was just the providential location beside Pacific ave… I’m not sure but it had an air or sketch to it.
To their credit the drinks were AMAZINGLY CHEAP!!! I got cups of draft miller for a buck a piece and there were beer pong set-​ups in the back for patrons to use, which was cool.
I didn’t stay at Maloneys all too long but I would definitely recommend stopping by to check it out. It is a cheap place to pre-​game and party before a night on the strip!
