The breakfast was ok however, we had to wait for 40 min or more to have scrambled eggs, toast and waffle. Our waiter wasn’t that focus and even to get half n half and sugar, he took 10min so the other waiter got for us. Food was ok. The view is pretty good though(to the beach).

Nice spot for breakfast while enjoying the ocean view. The breakfast selection is kinds limited, and the food, to be honest, is very average. But you can’t beat the great location for it’s ocean view. Reasonable price, attentive service.

One Unilocaler wrote the portions are NYC upscale standards??? What does this even mean? Who the heck is thinking about NY when going out to a restaurant? We’re a party of 5, in line waiting for a table. Once seated, I tell our server we’re kinda in a hurry and would like to leave within the hour. It didn’t matter what I said, it was deathly slow…(Maybe its my NYC upscale standards) We ordered standard breakfast items: Omelets, pancakes and waffles. The food was great but the service was slow. Like walk in at 10:30 and leave at noon slow. The place is decorated like it was back in the day, they just moved the buffett tables. It doesn’t look very modern. Good food, slow service and outdated décor. 3 Unilocal stars from me

I’m giving this one 5 stars. In the old days, whenever I went to AC I did«the buffets». But I was younger and my metabolism was faster. Anyway, the inexpensive buffets are gone and I have to watch what I eat now, so Breadsticks was perfect. DH and I had the $ 17.99 three course dinner. DH had squash soup which he licked. I had the salad. It was on the small side, but adequate. We both had the salmon, which was delicious. It came with a small side of veggies. The portions were OK by «NYC upscale standards… meaning NOT large. For dessert DH had the lemon cheese cake and I had chocolate ice cream. I tasted his cheesecake, and next time, I’ll take that instead of the ice cream. The view of the ocean was so nice. The service was good. OH… and the breadsticks, definitely worth the calories.

Stopped by here for dinner last night to celebrate my older brothers birthday. We were a party of 14, so they were able to accommodate us and set up a large table big enough for us. We all ordered from the 3 course meal which included soup/salad, main course, and an entrée for $ 17.99 which in my opinion is a damn steal! I ordered the house salad with the balsamic dressing, my main course I ordered was the salmon with Greek yogurt, and for dessert we all ordered whipped lemon cheesecake which was phenomenal. One downside was the salmon that I ordered was extremely salty but the Greek yogurt made it that much better! I think I will come back again and try something else on the menu!

I came here for breakfast over the weekend. The service was fantastic and the food was pretty good. I ordered the lox platter. This dish was quite large. The only thing that I would like is that they serve normal size capers with the dish.

This place is okay, nothing surprising. Price is good, but the ocean view is really nice. It’s in the casino building so it’s pretty convenience if you stay at the casino

My expectations of this place were on the low end — since it was in a casino and seemed like the standard fare they’d have to fuel casino goers throughout the night. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality(and quantity) of the food I got. I was starving when I sat down — but good thing, because the portions at this place were enormous. To start off, our server brought over the namesake breadsticks, which were average but definitely fills you up. We ordered a clam chowder to share, since somebody recommended it on Unilocal, and it was thick, creamy, and pretty delicious. I ordered the burger with a side of fries — the burger literally had everything, from a beef patty with bacon AND chicken, to an onion ring on the top. After the soup and breadsticks, I could only manage a few bites of the burger, and packed the rest for later. With the convenience factor of Breadsticks being inside the Resorts casino and with super long hours, as well as the portion of the food, it wasn’t particularly pricey, and an OK /pretty good spot for a meal.

First time the boyfriend and I came here, it was around 10:30 at night and every other place nearby was closed. We weren’t about to walk 15 minutes in the cold to another casino so we opted to go here considering they’re open 24 hours. I had the chicken salad sandwich and boyfriend had the grilled cheese. Both dishes were MUCH larger than we were expecting. We couldn’t finish it even though it tasted pretty good. The server was very friendly and attentive, but the restaurant was pretty empty and the crowd was all over the age of 40 – 50. Being younger people, that kinda made us feel odd but we honestly just needed to grab a late dinner and didn’t wanna walk far so this place served its purpose. We came back here for breakfast a couple days later and it was a much different atmosphere. There were a lot more people(and of mixed ages) which made it a little less sad, haha. I got the Santa Fe Omelette with toast, no home fries, and we had coffee. It was very filling and a nice normal portion vs the dinner we had the previous night. We got a seat with a nice ocean view, too. It’s a decent place to grab a quick bite if nowhere else is open(or you’re lazy and don’t wanna walk) but there are better places in the casinos further down the Boardwalk.

I just finished up breakfast with my family and my sister and her family. The food was very good and the restaurant has a great view of the ocean. The price was very reasonable too. I didn’t really care for their quality of sausage but the omelette was great!

Our server George was awesome! You can tell if a person love their job, he was attentive. Now heading to the real review… We were hesitant to eat here because we aren’t sure of their menu whether it was any good. Had the 3 course, I had the beef on barley soup(which was excellent by the way), Grilled Chicken with mash potato, asparagus and fresh tomatoes;chicken was not too bad, but the mash potato was way to salty for my taste(explains the 4 star), then had chocolate ice which was nice. Overall, service was great and food was ok, my Family loved it, so I can’t complain!

To start, the service was incredible. All wait staff that took care of our party were extremely polite and attentive, but not overbearing; something that’s always a plus, in my opinion. Our meals were all tasty(well, I know my Western omelette was on the money, and the others in the party had all said that their meals were enjoyable) and the portions were the right size for the money. On top of that, the view of the boardwalk and ocean was a plus. There wasn’t really anything that made this place stick out above other diners that I’ve visited, but it is certainly a respectable dining experience here.

My family was visiting NJ’s Atlantic City from their new home in the Carolinas and upon arrival we all went for something to eat at Breadsticks Café and Grill which was located in the Resorts Casino where they were staying. We grabbed a nice table near the window and since this overlooks the Boardwalk a nice view of the ocean was there to enjoy as well. Never a bad thing for the photographer either professional of hobbyist. The folks wanted breakfast but I was hankering for a proper sandwich and while they all had eggs in various configurations I went with the NY Reuben sandwich since I had not had one in a very long time. I opted for mine with the homemade potato chips and there was a sufficient amount of them on the plate and the Reuben had a healthy portion of meat which is always a good thing to find in a sandwich. It was too early for a cocktail so I just had a Sprite. It was all very tasty and I should also mention the fresh bread sticks that they offer the table complimentary. These were wonderful and I could have eaten the whole basket but I shared instead. The place was clean and roomy and the staff friendly. I was also happy to be sitting next to an AC outlet because after a two hour bus ride my charge was depleted. I would definitely come back here again if I wanted a reasonably priced meal at a place with numerous options to choose from.

I’m such a fan of Breadsticks and I’ve never even had the breadsticks lol. This restaurant has a homely vibe and it is located in the Resorts Casino Hotel with a view of the beach. I always eat here when I come to Atlantic City for either breakfast or dinner. Preferably breakfast because they changed up the menu a bit and do not offer the fried chicken anymore… Bummer…but they do have Salmon now. I gotta check that out. The breakfast is always good and hot and you can get it at any time of the day… Just ask your server for the breakfast menu. They have $ 4 wine and $ 5 mimosas all day and they totally support my champagne and wine with strawberries habit and give me plenty! Any server! I think that’s where I’m sold! I love them so much but they lose one star because the servers are always polite, but the service needs some work. The service is slow and it has always been slow… Even when they were located downstairs. I never wait too long for my food but it always seems to take forever to get drinks and order. We gotta fix this Breadsticks so we can get that fifth star! :-)

This is a diner with a BEAUTIFUL view, located in Resorts. Been to many diners, and I never give higher than a 3 when it comes to diners.(Only one in NYC and one in Chicago managed to get a 3.5 from me.) I don’t really expect much but I give Breadsticks a solid 3, which is high in my book. I’ve been here once last year and this morning for breakfast. The experience was the same. The hostess was really friendly and seated us right away. The place had a good amount of customers — I would say half filled. The restaurant was clean, plenty of light. Ambience — typical diner. Our server was really nice and very attentive. Checked up on us, made sure our coffee mugs and water glasses were filled. I ordered the same as I had last year, and it was as I remembered — corned beef and 2 overeasy eggs, both cooked perfectly. The potatoes looked simple but it was really good, whatever seasoning they used was great! I had a a bit of french toast and that was really good. I’ve had good breakfast experiences here and I’ll be back!

I came here for restaurant week on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised that they were not busy at all. Only a few tables were seated, but we had to wait about 5 minutes by the door before the hostess showed up from her lunch break. Overall the experience was okay, but the service was lacking. It took 15 minutes before our water arrived. In fact, the bread basket came out first and we had to flag down another server for water. I guess our waitress forgot that we had asked for water. The food also took a while to come out, but considering how there were only about 6 tables seated, I’m not sure why it took so long. Panzanella Salad– The salad was 99% croutons and was just lacking in flavor. I was very disappointed. Big Green Salad– Tasted okay, but not amazing. The vegetables didn’t taste too fresh. Rosemary Lemon Chicken with creamy grits– The chicken was tender and yummy. I’m not a fan of grits, so I ended up leaving them on my plate. Grilled Salmon Sandwich– The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly! It was definitely the star of the meal. Fried Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding– This was delicious! The banana pudding paired perfectly with the ice cream. Coconut Cardamom Rice Pudding– This was DISGUSTING. The rice was hard and undercooked. I ate half a spoonful of this and left the rest untouched.

This is a very convenient place to dine if you don’t feel like venturing out of the casino, or want a late breakfast. We were staying at Resorts, so this restaurant is on the Dining level of the hotel. As another poster said, other than the view, you will not be wowed by this place. The ambiance falls somewhere between school cafeteria and lower-end diner. The staff were all very pleasant, but service was very slow. We had to wait for our server, a while, then, although we gave him our whole order at once(just to be safe), we received our soup and salads before we even received our drinks! Had to wait for the check too. That being said, the soup was actually really good, and the salad was plentiful and fresh as well. Pricing is par for A/C.

Everytime I come down to Atlantic City, I make sure I stop at Breadsticks for Breakfast. We are greeted pleasantly each time. This time, both hostesses(Hazel & Annie) were very nice and friendly. Our Server(luzy) was great and we didn’t feel rushed. Get the breakfast sampler $ 11.99 it gets you 2 eggs, home fries, bacon, ham steak and Cinnamon French toast. Love the French toast here. I ended up ordering two orders of the French toast. I wish I could show picture. They are so good. Today the baker made the cinnamon French toast extra tick and could not finish the last piece. Love it.
