This place brings a new, much needed element to the AC bar scene. Most everything about the concept is already on here, but I’ll toss in two recommendations: 1) Get the pickle plate, you’ll not only get classic pickles, but also a number of other pickled vegetables and pickled eggs. 2) Ask the bartenders for recommendations. There aren’t too many bars in AC where you can do this so take advantage of it. Once I mentioned that I really like Mezcal and they modified one of their drinks for me(and it was awesome). They’re happy to help you find the best drink that suits you.

I grabbed dinner and beer here while in town on a work trip. IT turned out o be a great choice. If I lived in the area I would come here often. The service was on point. The selection of beer was heavy on the craft side, which is perfect for me. The food menu is creative and I really enjoyed the portobello sandwich, a lot. I don’t eat meat, so I would have liked one more strong veggie option from the«big bites» menu. But I left the restaurant full and happy. My takeaway: lots of games, high class bar food, good craft beer menu, chill crowd.

Let me start off with the good: great staff, awesome concept(arcade), great ambiance, great food. Their cheesesteaks are to die for! Bad: Not enough beer selection. Wait, let me rephrase that. NO beer selection for non-craft beer drinkers. They used to have Bud Light on tap, so when my friends would lug me here it was no big deal. Games, friends, good food and I could drink a beer? Awesome. I get that they are a different kind of bar with a different kind of image, but please carry something other than craft beers(because PBR doesn’t count… YUCK!)

Unfortunately the only reason we stumbled across this place was because we were staying at the Super 8 across the street(making this the only positive thing to come from that stay). Cool vibes. Great menu. We were skeptical when the drink menu was longer than the food menu but what few items they have to eat they do them up nicely. Best meal of the trip!

Came here on a Sunday when it was kinda slow. The bartender was nice and had good recommendations with specials. Had a nice selection of free console games with a number of arcade games, such as Pacman and Virtua Fighter. Nice vibes overall.

last year i went here and it wasn’t very good. it was a slow night so i figured it would be a good opportunity to try some food without a bunch of hassle. the grilled cheese was nothing special at all and the tots ridic were tough to eat because the duck took over — it tasted like microwaved(re-heated) duck which is, frankly, disgusting. that gamey taste took over the whole thing. the off menu prime rib sandwich was good, not great. service was pretty good. anyway, after being convinced to give it another shot, i did… and it was VERY good. the cheese steak was very tasty — good bread, good flavors, decent texture. the fried chicken sandwich was really good as well. it was slightly overcooked but still delicious. the soft pretzel tasted great(albeit slightly expensive for such a thing) — the glaze or whatever is outstanding. cheese sauce had a nice flavor. i think my first experience was due to a few factors — slow day and possibly unsettled kitchen staff. based on my last experience, i will definitely be back to see if they keep it up.

A dive bar off the main road that feels like a wooden dungeon where all the local 20-somethings come to hang out on a daily basis. This place isn’t posh, it’s darn-right run-down, but somehow it adds to the atmosphere, it beckons you to pull a high chair up to the bar to lose yourself in an old AMC classic playing on one of the 3 TVs on the back-wall. When you’re done noshing on the mouth-watering duck confit tater-tots slathered in ooey-gooey cheesiness, you grab that wonderful original libation the barkeep conjured for your sipping pleasure and head back to the old school coin machine armed with cold-hard green cash. A pocketful of jingling quarters later, you’ll find yourself perplexed as to which game to play first: 1 of 4 pinball machines, Skee-ball, Pool, Foozball, Air Hockey, or one of the many old school arcade games that barely exist anywhere anymore like Pac-Man or Alien. Then once you’re run out of quarters you can take to the N64, Xbox, Nintendo, Playstation or any of the other gaming systems plopped around the bar to challenge yourself or a friend to as many do-overs as you need. Did I mention then even have some board games too, Connect4 and Jenga to name a few. It’s just a downright awesome bar with plenty of space to hang out with friends, play games, or just chill. It’s got the right amount of sound, loud but not loud enough you can hold a regular toned conversation without straining to hear. It’s a must for anyone looking for something other than the standard fare at the casino and a drink that’s worth the price because some thought and good liquor actually go into it.

Nice and fun place. Went originally because I heard it had a cool old arcade and other games. Was surprised to find a good beer selection on tap and bottled. For my next visit we brought family for drinks and dinner. I took a look at the drink menu and saw a bunch of really cool cocktails. I’ll definitely be back to try some of those. I did get a really good Moscow mule along with a nice draft beer later on. For dinner I ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich which was excellent. Also shared the pickle tray which was very good. The family really liked the meatloaf burger and the chicken sandwich. They also liked the tater tot appetizer. Spent some time in the arcade which includes old video games, pinball, skeeball, foosball, and a pool table. Shouldn’t have any problem having fun here. The service was great and the staff are very friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Yum! The food is heavenly, try the pickle tray and tater tots, the drinks different and yummy. I love different. Living outside AC, you get tired of the same old scene and drinks AC has to offer. This place is different in a great way. We went early the first time and Etta James was playing and it was a very cool atmosphere, I truly loved. The second time was a busy Saturday, and the music was hard rock and wild. So there is a little bit for everyone. Ok, I love this place, but I could only give it 4 stars because both times I have been there, the service has not been the best. The first time, we were served quickly, only 3 people there at the time, but then sat with empty glasses, for a good 10 minutes, after we had finished. The second time was busier, but getting service was tough. We wanted food and drinks and it took longer than necessary. That being said, if you are patient, want amazing food and drinks and something new, this is the best plce

This place is great! Unassuming from the outside but inside the atmosphere is really cool. Came here with friends played some games some of them free. Offers more of a selection then just arcade games. The server was cool, had a craft beer selection and specials. Can’t wait to go back.

We came on a sleepy Monday night and were some of the only customers. The jukebox was off but a dj was playing reggae. The bartender didn’t seem amused by us because I couldn’t see the chalkboard for the beer specials and we didn’t know exactly what we wanted to order when he first came over. I was here with 3 other people. Once we got our beer orders under control, we checked out the food menu. I had a duck confit bahn mi sandwich for $ 12 to split with M. I thought it was way too sweet but my husband thought it was really good and flavorful. The super sweet sauce in my opinion dominated the sandwich and was too much for me so I only ate about half of my half of the sandwich. Guess that makes ¼ since I’m a math wizard. Tot Tot ridiculous were $ 10, good and enough to share with 3 people even though it came in a tiny cup. Happy hour specials until 9pm with ½ price drafts. Although the quarter machine and some games had technical difficulties(multiple times), the management was there to fix the issues and provided great service. They have skeeball, pinball, fooseball, dome hockey, and some arcade games. I don’t know if I would feel the need to go back but it was a nice alternative to the casinos. It was slightly overpriced for the experience and quality of food.

This place is totally unexpected place but a gem nonetheless. Fantastic music, food/drinks delicious, and staff is attentive. Bring some quarters to play some classic arcade games!

At first glance you might think… «oh great… just another ac dive bar.» But you’d be dead wrong. This place is great! Excellent food! Great beer list! Great service! It’s a place where a grown up can be a kid. I mean the classic arcade games are still a quarter to play! And free super street fighter 2 on snes! It’s a little off the boardwalk but it’s worth it! It’s a fun atmosphere, kinda laid back, just a really kool place to hang out with friends and just have fun.

I had such a great time with my friends at Perfectly Innocent and cannot wait to visit again. The staff is attentive and passionate which made us feel very comfortable right from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. I could have sat in there for hours! We had the pretzel, the pickle plate and the tater tots to start, the Ruben, duck sandwich and the bologna sandwich for dinner and it was all delicious. The food was definitely not what I expected to see in a bar so I was absolutely pleasantly surprised! We drank, we played a ton of games I haven’t played in years, and shared a lot of laughs and we will be returning very soon. Thanks for everything!

It’s a dive bar. It’s a drink mecca. It’s the best alternative to Atlantic City’s casino version of glamour — a little hidden gem with spot-on cocktails and bar food that you can’t forget. Last week I ate a great steak in a great restaurant and I had a BLT at Perfectly Innocent. A week later now and the steak is forgotten and I am still telling everyone about the BLT(with an egg) and the Gin cocktail(with a cucumber as garnish). Bartending is a science — and an art when it is done correctly. These guys have made an art of it. Enjoy!
