Great food, amazing scenery, downfalls: it took a while to get our order taken, like 20 minutes, and the menu has small variation. I went out to dinner wanting chicken parm, so we went to an Italian restaurant, who only has veal parm… So instead I got this other dish, which was still amazing. Happy with my choice, and loved the food!

The food was decent but average especially considering the price. With the exception of the woman bussing our table our service experience was horrid. We has to ask the woman busing our table for a dessert menu… and, after waiting 19 minutes for our waiter to reappear to take an order, we decides to just leave instead. We found everyone in the restaurant from maître d’ to wait staff to be disengaged and disinterested at best. I expect far better from a restaurant of this level.

The food was not good, my lamb was awful, in fact — all fat. We went based on the menu posted online, however, there is almost nothing on the menu that is on the online menu. Service was mediocre. We’ll not be going again.

I have been going to Arturo’s multiple times per year for the last five years. Each visit has provided excellent service and food. My wife and I were there on February 17th. We were seated at a table next to the the window and the view was spectacular. The food was even better. My wife had the seafood stew. She said it was the best she ever had. I had one if the special dishes, a broiled veal chop. It was by far the best I have ever had. Thick, juicy and cooked exactly the way I requested. In fact, everything about the dinner was perfect, including the great service. Arturo’s is one of the best restaurants in Atlantic City.

This was not the dining experience I expected based on reviews. The service was pretty bad and the food was not up to par. The gnocchi tasted homemade and was delicious. That’s where my positivity ends. The meatballs were bad. I couldn’t even take a second bite. The minestrone soup tasted like Campbell’s and was watery. The crème brûlée was also not good. Both of my buddies took one bite and left the rest. I got the cheesecake and it was good. Better off somewhere else for the price. Also the rice balls and other items highlighted on their website are no longer available.

We went on a Sunday night for my daughter & son-in-laws anniversary, there was a deal 29, 39 or 49 dollars for a 3 course dinner. We had the 49 dollar dinner, everything was excellent ! I had the lobster fradiablo & my husband had the filet mignon so we shared each others meal. The lobster was tender & not too spicy & the beef was to die for ! My daughter & her husband also had the filet mignon, top shelf food & service! I had my resevations about eating @ the casino as far as quality food for a decent price, was I ever surprised !

Excellent! Highly recommended! I don’t go around giving out 5-star reviews, they have to be earned. Arturo’s truly is a great fine dining experience. My loving boyfriend took me hear for part two of our anniversary celebration(see Riverwinds review). We sat in the far right corner by the window, with a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean! We were able to watch the sunset from this incredible view — it was very romantic. The food was so incredible! I ordered a seafood pasta dish and it was amazing! This is one of my favorite dishes, I order it at many restaurants, and I was very impressed at Arturo’s take on it. There was fresh lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, and every delicious seafood item you could imagine in this dish. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered a bottle of chardonnay to the table which paired nicely with the seafood. The staff was friendly and helpful. This restaurant has everything: great food, ambiance, and a helpful staff. 5 out of 5! I highly recommend this restaurant and plan on returning in the future.

Had the prix fixe $ 29.00 meal here on a Sunday night. The food was well prepared and presented. The bread basket was served with bruschetta and dipping sauce, The caesar salad was garnished with a thin toasted slab of focaccia. The linguine and clam sauce was served with fresh clams. The cheesecake was served with a cherry sauce that was so good that I wanted to lick the plate. Ahksana provided good service. The room had a lovely view of the boardwalk facing north. I would like to give another star, but our seats near the kitchen were loud. There was some heated discussion between the wait staff and the kitchen about an order. Then the wait staff were talking about a variety of subjects ranging from medical insurance to benefit reinstatements, it was distracting. Would go back if I sat in a different seat.

We had dinner here one night(8⁄17) based on the other reviews. Overall, it was a great experience, but there were a few things that kept me from giving it 5 stars. First, I called to make reservations for the same night, and was told the earliest we could get in was 8:30. Arrived at 8:00 and there were several empty tables, but we were made to wait until our reservation time. Second, once we were seated service was pretty slow. We ordered wine and our server spilled mine all over the table. Luckily, it didn’t get on me, but instead of replacing the tablecloth, he just covered it up with a napkin. Though the food was AMAZING, my dish when it first came out was still cold on the inside. I had the Ravioli di Arogosta, which was lobster & shrimp-stuffed ravioli in a vodka cream sauce. I took one bite and it was ice cold inside. I sent it back and instead of bringing me a new plate, they just stuck it under the heater for 5 minutes and brought it back. Food wise, I would go back in a heartbeat. We had apps and dessert in addition to the mains and everything was delicious. However, service being what it was, I don’t know if I would recommend this place. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but I was extremely disappointed with the level of service given the cost and expectations from the other reviews.

The absolute best filet I’ve ever had in my life! Better than Ruth’s Chris. I get it well done and I can’t believe how tender it was for well done. My husband had the salad ‘di pesce’ and said it was phenomenal. Servers were excellent as well. Wanted to go again last night, but they were closed :(all in all, they far exceeded my expectations.

Wow, we fell into this place because we couldnt get a last minute reservation on a holiday weekend in A/C. They told us we would have to wait about 30 minutes, and it was slightly less. Food and service were outstanding! Maybe the best veal parm I ever had, and I am still salivating over the pasta bolognese. Yum! Can’t wait to go back. A great find in Atlantic City.

I’m pretty mad at myself for filling up on my buffet lunch earlier in the day before I came to for dinner here. Other reviewers are correct-it’s kind of tucked away, but it’s worth the trip. We didn’t get any appetizer other than the bread, which was accompanied by butter, a bruschetta tomato mix, and some sort of garlic herb spread-all very yummy. Some of the bread was a little hard(like it had been under the warmer a little too long), but there was plenty in the basket that was perfect, so I just moved on to the next piece. I got the gnocchi with pomodoro sauce, and my boyfriend the seafood ravioli with vodka sauce. Both were great, and the portions were definitely generous-we both had doggie bags. We split the crème brûlée(I’m rarely too full for dessert), which is my favorite, and it was very good. The service was excellent. We had two waiters and a busboy and they were all super attentive. This place definitely had some quality Italian food, in a nice atmosphere. I would love to come back with a bigger appetite!

This was my second visit to Arturos’, I probably shouldn’t be writing this, I hate to lose this little gem to the gen pop. Arturos is in a hidden spot in Bally’s, the food is excellent. I am Italian and I can cook! The zuppe de pesce I ordered saturday night was the best I ever had, tender succulent shrimp and lobster, fresh clams and mussels plus sweet scallops and fish. The pasta was perfect too, i asked for a little spicy and the chef nailed it. The breads are great the wine is reasonable. The room is stylish but not stuffy or pretentious. Can’t wait to go back. The service was very good, Oksana was our server and her runner was super too.

I went here on a lark — I had wanted to eat at a different restaurant but they had an enormous wait time for a table. I have to say that fate must have been on my side because my experience here was awesome. I ordered one of the specials(I won’t even try to butcher the Italian spelling, but it was a seafood pasta dish), and it was delicious. The restaurant was busy, so I figured my meal would end up sitting under the heat lamps in the kitchen until my waiter had a chance to go back to retreive it. However, he was top notch and got my order out quickly. Since it didn’t appear to have sat for very long, the seafood was succulent and juicy instead of rubbery. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and there was just enough sauce to enhance the flavor of the seafood but not so much to drown it out completely. Price-wise, it wasn’t too bad for a casino restaurant. It was really on par with nice Italian restaurants anywhere else in the area, and I noticed that there is a prix fixe menu as well. I loved the vibe in the restaurant. It had an upscale feel without being snooty(the casual dress code helps with that immensely). I really enjoyed myself here and can’t wait to go back with some of my friends!

I concur with the other reviewer, this place is great. We checked Friday night to see if there was a dress code and was told there was not(I had a polo shirt, but my wife said all she brought were t-shirts). I made a reservation for Saturday night around 8:30. It was a bit crowded and we had a booth in the corner. The seat seemed quite high, my feet didn’t touch the floor. Jay and Judy were our servers and they were excellent. My wife had to go back up to the room to get our daughter’s sippy cup, and when Jay brought the bread basket, he offered one to our daughter. We started with the Pasta e fagioli soup and it was great. Our daughter enjoyed it was well and when my wife asked Judy for a little extra, she brought back another ¼ filled bowl and said she wouldn’t charge us for it, very nice. It took a while for our entrees to come out, but I ordered the Cotoletta di Vitello alla Parmigiana and my wife ordered the Mezzi Rigatoni Paesana and both were excellent with large portions. For dessert, my wife ordered zeppolis and I had a cappuccino. Our daughter was getting a bit cranky towards the end of the meal, since it was close to her bedtime, but the whole staff were very accommodating and understanding. The total would have been $ 88.50, plus $ 6:20 tax and a $.30 luxury tax, but the entire meal was comped. It is a bit pricey, but excellent food and service.

This place is amazing! The service was great, food was great, and it’s a really nice atmosphere all together. The prices may be a little pricey, but we ordered a bunch of stuff for the price we paid. My friends and I came here for my birthday, and ordered a bottle of white wine. I’m not a huge fan of wine, so I can’t be one to judge, but my friends seemed to enjoy it! For starters, we ordered two appetizers, the fried calamari was definitely a go to for us, it was crispy and the texture was great. There was pesto sauce drizzled on top, there were fried peppers mixed in too. Definitely a nice twist from the plain fried calamari. We also ordered the jumbo lump crabmeat and colossal shrimp sampler, and it was amazing. The presentation was nice, and the shrimps were huuuuuuge! Amazing! For our entrees, I was torn between a few dishes, so I asked the server for recommendations, and she told me I could pretty much create whatever I wanted, and they would make it for me. Wow was I freakin’ happy. I ordered capellini pasta with colossal shrimp(huuuuuge again!) and jumbo lump crabmeat in a spicy diablo tomato sauce. It was heaven. My friends ordered the battered flounder with jumbo lump crab meat on top and a side of greens, it looked delicious, and she said it was really tasty too. Another ordered the«pillows» of ravioli with lobster and shrimp in a vodka sauce, it looked amazing. I love vodka sauce, and he demolished it! Lastly, my boyfriend ordered the 16oz fire grilled steak with a garlic bread topping on the steak, accompanied with a side of mashed potatoes and greens. He said that was definitely delicious too, but I feel the need to order pasta when I eat Italian. =/ So with all the food being fabulous, I was having a pretty good birthday dinner. Then my sneaky friends had told our waitress it was my birthday so they did come and sing. It was a different experience, because it was like, italian opera singing happy birthday, haha, it was a nice experience. The sorbet was delicious too! I love tart fruity desserts. My friend ordered a cappuccino, and the presentation was really fun! They had rock sugar on sticks as the stirrers and sugar fix, with little chocolate candies, and cinnamon sticks. It was definitely really unique! All in all, sorry for the long review, but it is the only one so far. This place is fabulous! It’s pretty hidden though, but it is located on the 6th floor at Bally’s casino in Atlantic City. So if you gamble a lot, you’ll probably receive comps for places like this, so thats a plus! They close on Wednesday I think, and open at 5 or 5:30pm usually, so reservations are recommended probably, but I think without one should be okay too. I had a great birthday, the food was really delicious and I would definitely come back here!
