Came here soon after arriving in AC. The menu is pretty limited for a diner. Service is pretty slow. Had the«Country Fry» which sounded good. A bacon waffle, boneless fried chicken, two fried eggs, country gravy and drizzled honey. All those components and everything tasted the same. Bland. The waffle was too doughy and the chicken was sinewy. The eggs were pretty nasty and I’m an egg lover, just put them to the side. Servers were friendly so they get the second star.

Never thought I would write an unsatisfactory review for this place. Today, my wife and I were taken aback with the extremely poor service we received today. We were seated quickly by the hostess, which in itself is unusual as there is usually a line to be seated. Arriving at 11:45am we were unsure to order lunch or the breakfast bar. I chose the bar and my wife decided to order from the menu. Fast forward I had two portions from the bar before our order was even taken. I was finished and my wife was never served. The manager came over and apologized. As I said — Is not this establishment a service industry? Don’t get me wrong — food is good — customer service needs improvement — otherwise lines to be seated will be non-existent.

If you don’t care how fast the service is or that your food after a long long wait is spectacularly average you will love this place. Most of the time there’s a line out the door but don’t be fooled. There are tons of tables available they just haven’t figured out how to seat people. Been here more times then I should have but like the dim bulb I am I keep coming back hoping it will be different. I think they call that the definition of insanity. Update. Received a nice note that management would contact me soon. Very nice except it was 4 days ago that they sent that to me and no one has contacted me. Almost as long as I waited for my meals there. Well done Caesars! Lol lol lol lol

Pretty much the Caesars AC version of their all day diner. Except in the Dirty JerZ diners are usually solid and offer some good eats. This was passable and decent enough. As we were looking for a light meal after hanging out gambling during the afternoon this is one of the few spots in the casino that is not an overpriced celebrity chef place. Also, we were able to get breakfast here for dinner. Well, because sometimes you just crave some pancakes and scrambled egg whites for dinner. Don’t judge! Have no complaints about service as our waiter was a happy friendly fellow. Food ended up ok, and edible. Nothing major. Came out quickly. Basic casino prices which was expected. My gal ordered the«healthy start» breakfast. Egg whites, cottage cheese, whole wheat English muffin, and a fresh juice of kale, kiwi, and pineapple. She enjoyed it. As for me, you can’t screw up pancakes and scrambled egg whites all that much. Decent coffee too. The café is kind of hidden away behind the buffet area, as if it’s an afterthought they want to hide. Seemed clean but could use an upgrade as the décor is kind of blah. Clean bathrooms also hidden away off to the side of the place that were nice and empty. After a few cups of coffee and some eats I dropped the kids off at the pool in quiet and solitude before heading back to the craps table.

if you don’t always want to eat at the buffet this is a nice option. If you are on the Centurion tower, it is a quick stop to the restaurant. You first observed how many tables are available and it gives you false sense that you won’t be waiting on line. Be ready to wait on line if you don’t get there very early. my family and I had to wait on line with no explanation of why when we saw so many empty they were short-staffed and did not want the service to be compromised. Once we were seated we were able to order our meal. The service was awesome. I ordered what was called a healthy start. It was composed of egg whites, cottage cheese, wheat English muffin, and a fresh juice of kale, kiwi, and pineapple. My daughter had the buffet and it did not favor her very well. After the meal, we received the bill very quickly.

Came here for breakfast and ordered a la carte. Their breakfast selection is pretty mediocre but the portions are big and shareable. Their service is bit slow and environment is more on the casual side.

Came in for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and the restaurant really was not full. It probably took 40 minutes for our food to come out… We’re cooking eggs here people, not doing rocket science. I can’t wrap my head around it. My boyfriend’s brunch burger was good because it kept hot in a skillet, but my English muffin and potatoes were lukewarm at best. Don’t waste your time on this place. $ 9 for 2 coffees. Expensive for what it is, if your food ever comes out.

We tried out this place bc the casino buffet wasn’t open yet and we were starving. I ordered the buffet express which included scrambled eggs, French toasts, pancake rolls(with raisins), sausages, bacon, oatmeal, grits, biscuits(and gravy), doughnuts, mini Danishes, and fresh fruit. You also had the option of adding the omlette station for an additional charge. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary and satiated our hunger. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat before the buffet opens, this would be ok. I would probably entertain other options(continental) next time.

This place is aweful for breakfast. They take 2 people form«regular line» for every 50 people from«gambler diamond card» line. Don’t go here to eat unless u a gambler.

We had breakfast there & it’s like $ 15 for pancakes. They offer a buffet for about $ 18 but not many options. No toast, bagels, croissants etc. The coffee was watered down. Very disappointing.

05/15/15Very slow service. I went to wait in line and the host was extremely slow seating people. After I was seated, a server came buy after a few minutes(Kevin) not very friendly or outgoing. I ordered the western omlette. THe omlette was over cooked, it was brown. The hashbrowns weren’t even luke warm, like they were cooked in bulk ahead of time. Again I went to go pay, and the hostess was very very very slow. WHy is there 1 person cashing people out and there very very slow. Only reason I came here is I had a $ 10 food voucher. There are better options elsewhere.

Worst service ever! Took about 20 minutes just to get a seat in a half empty restaurant. Then a good 20 minutes until we were able to place an order followed by a half hour until our food was served. They never have enough waiters for the number of customers. No one working knew how to use the computer system which only added more waisted time when trying to pay the check. Food is mediocre at best.

So I’m still leaving my rating of Café Roma at 2 stars. The food is mediocre, expensive(for what it is) and the service is slow. Over the weekend, I came to a good realization as to why someone should actually eat there. It’s late and nothing else is open. If you are looking for some drunk food, look no further. It’s food and you are drunk. They have a good selection of greasy grub that will soak up the booze and help you to avoid a hangover. Café Roma is not a destination, but sometimes a necessity. I would like to specifically thank the quesadilla for helping me to avoid a hangover on Saturday morning. If nothing else it was so large that I was able to have a little while at the restaurant, then again as leftovers in the morning. There are so many better options out there if the sun is shining and the day is new. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

My stop in here was quick. Its on the 3rd floor in Caesars. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before checking out from my room. I had less than 40 mins and I was worried that I was cutting close on time. I was with 3 other friends and we each made an order for breakfast. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict. Within 10 mins of ordering, the food came out. Everything was great. I enjoyed my food. I also noticed they had a buffet setup for breakfast. I saw people grabbing huge amounts of bacon… jealous…lol. Next time, I would like to come back and savor the moment of breakfast, rather than shoving the food in my mouth and running out. Our waiter was also attentive.

Most of the dining experiences I’ve had in Atlantic City from the past and this weekend have been okay or decent. This may be one of the worst in any city period. It’s up there. First, we came in around 2:30 — 2:40am. The restaurant is supposed to close at 3am and there were still people inside eating. Unilocalers no less that were eating. Which I should have heeded their warning when we asked«how many stars?!» I got back a «Definite 1 star» report. Again, we sat ourselves because we were starving and really nothing else was open. «You guys need to leave we’re closed.» Finally they gave up on seeing we were insistant and gave us menus. We decided pretty quickly to split a macaroni and cheese grilled cheese that allegedly had applewood smoked bacon and heirloom tomatoes on texas toast with a side of french fries. A decent sized sandwich but was it worth $ 20? Ohhhhhh hell no. Heirloom tomatoes? Really? Tasted more like a sliver of a regular salad tomato that had been frozen a few hours ago. Very bland and flavorless cheese with diced up bacon bits which prompted Steph P. to pull Cholula sauce packets out of her pocket. Don’t ask, but this both amazed and delighted me. The waiters were pretty slow despite there being no one in there. They wouldn’t give us water and we had to ask three times for it. A few minutes into eating a man came in and there was again a «Sorry sir, we are closed.» In response the man stated: «It’s 2:50, you’re open for ten more minutes.» There was no attitude. Literally, the waiters came running to lick this gentleman’s butt hole. You want a steak dinner? Five minutes later pulls a steak dinner out with a glass of water. I wonder what the difference was but I don’t care because I’d rather starve than come back here.

The worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my entire life. As a person who has been in the restaurant industry, I am very patient and empathetic to certain situation. However, Café Roma and their servers should have some serious evaluation. Upon arrival, it took ten minutes to catch the host attention to seat us. Then it took another 30 minutes to seat us. This was during a dead time when the restaurant wasn’t even a quarter filled. Upon being seated, we had to flag down a server and reluctantly took our order because he wasn’t our server in the section. He basically gave us an attitude. But I digress, we waited for the food and it took 30 minutes. Honestly, for some chicken noodle soup(probably pre-made) and a waffle and it wasn’t busy?! 30 minutes is a long time to wait for basic food. During our meal, the servers kept staring at our table. Not even casually, but STARINGUSDOWN and made me super uncomfortable. He was literally 10 feet away from us and just staring at us while we were eating our food. Worst eating experience ever. When we were done eating, the servers were nowhere to be found! My mom had to go wait at the cashier station to check out and she still had to wait for a cashier to settle her out. I really wanted to talk to a manager, but my friend urged me not to. To this day, I still regret not talking to a manager because at least the problem could be solved. Overall, the food was okay and the customer service was horrible. This was my first time at the Atlantic City’s Caesar Palace and even my first time in the city of Atlantic City. It really only takes one bad experience to make me reluctant to ever go back to Atlantic City again.

I don’t know why it was so difficult for us to find a restaurant for dinner. We were wandering around the casino until we finally stumbled upon this place. It was 10:00 at night, so we clamored in and ordered right away. The mozzarella sticks were really good. They were gigantic, very crispy on the outside, and gushing with cheese inside. That was the highlight of my meal. The meatball sub was just meh. The double decker grilled cheese was good in theory, but it was just way too big and everyone who ate it agreed that the bread was too buttery and it was borderline donut-ish. The prices were pretty good, though. What are you gonna do when there’s nowhere else to go? It is what it is.

Strolled in here Fri morning Sep 20 before heading home. Wanted the Caesars big buffet room. Because Caesar has the best buffet I think. But it was being renovated and closed for two months. So ended up here. Roomy place. And décor is nice. People are friendly. But the buffet here is like a continental breakfast at you Holiday inn. However at the Holiday inn it would be FREE. Nothing at all to say about this place, However they do offer you a menu for fresh cooked food as well. Hurry up and finish with those renovations Caesars. That big buffet is missed
