It takes a lot for me to rate a place 5 stars but Chart house definitely deserves it! Some of the best food I have had in a really long time! Seriously it is effin delicious. As if stellar food wasn’t enough the atmosphere is very nice: great view, elegant décor, and light and mood music were perfect. Attentive staff and very friendly hostesses. I really can’t wait to come back!

This place is the best, my husband and I eat here about three times a year and have never got burnt. Chocolate lava cake is a must get. For my entrée the macadamia nut mahi mahi is a must. My husband isn’t a fan of seafood and her swears they have the best steaks.

went here for my friends birthday and we had a blast! our waitress was very friendly and made our experience memorable. this place is very expensive so be prepared to spend a handful when coming with a larger party. i got the paneed chicken for my entrée because i wasnt feeling seafood that night and it was pretty good, but i dont think it was worth the $ 25 price tag. the chicken was crisp and buttery but the mashes potatoes it came with didnt wow me. my friend and i also shared the lobster mac and cheese and for a side at $ 13 i was expecting a little better. it was pretty cheesy but also a little bland. didnt taste too much lobster in it either. for appetizers we got the coconut shrimp and that was pretty delicious, as well as the egg rolls made with rice paper that i hated. it was too cold for my liking. we also shared the calamari and that was actually my favorite dish of the night! it came with a variety of seafood and instead of the usual fried calamari that i expected, there was a sauce on it that was DELICIOUS. would recommend that to everyone! the rest of my party enjoyed their meals but my friends mother complained her steak was a bit dry. she was too embarassed to ask for A1 steak sauce or ketchup! the chocolate lava cake dessert was pretty delicious too, but make sure you order it with your meal as it takes the kitchen a while to prepare it. they also gave us a separate complementary piece of ice cream cake for my friends birthday, which was a nice surprise. overall a good experience AND there is a view of the water if you sit by the window which is a nice addition to the atmosphere.

I LOVE chart house, it’s always an exceptional experience but if you are used to dining at the Weehawken location, this location is just one notch below. The atmosphere is just slightly different. The Mac Nut Mahi was amazing, but my purple sweet potato mash stole the show. The lobster Mac and cheese was a bit disappointing — no memorable flavor.

We had dinner here the other night during a weekend trip to AC. This restaurant is located inside the Golden Nugget Casino & boasts a gorgeous view of the water & yachts from the full wall of windows. The service was attentive albeit a bit confusing due to the number of people who attended to our table. Someone took the drink order, someone else poured the water, another person served the bread, & then there was our waiter who took our food order, & finally the person who brought the food to the table. The waiter was able to have the bartender make me a virgin blueberry mojito which was delicious. We started with a Caesar salad, my main coarse was Key West crusted sea bass with sticky rice & a habanero sauce. My friends had the filet mignon & the short ribs. We also ordered the sizzling mushroom side dish. All of the food was perfectly prepared & delicious. We also ordered both the grand marnier soufflé & the chocolate lava cake, which they recommended ordering at the start of the meal since they are both made to order & take some time. Desserts were HEAVENLY! I also recommend getting the Landry’s dining card as it provides great comps. Overall, although this meAl was pricey, it was delicious & is great for a special occasion.

Delicious drinks and meal! It’s going to be a bit pricey(paying for any side beside mashed potatoes or rice adds at least $ 10 to your check) but it was absolutely delicious. Monarch margarita was tangy and delicious, filet and tour de shrimp were superb. Just watch out when the server comes over with the bill, they try to talk you into some membership and there’s a $ 25 enrollment they will not mention but it gets added to the bill, sneaky sneaky.

Cannot beat the location/view! Our wait person, Janet, was friendly, accommodating and attentive. We enjoyed her service very much. This is our second time here and it will not be the last. You are treated in a friendly respectful manner by every one you come in contact with. My husband had the Prime rib w/coconut shrimp appetizer and I had the Short Ribs. He thoroughly enjoyed his, mine was… meh. Not bad but nothing to make me order it again demi glaze could use a little more punch to it ;) I also had the chopped salad… very tasty. We will be back and would love to have Janet take care of us again!

LOVE. LOVELOVE everything about the Chart House! The view is always fabulous The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The service is attentive and courteous Need I say more? I usually get the Caesar or Beet salad. Wonderfully fresh beets. Yum! This last time we had the hummus platter. All three choices were delicious. Fresh & tasty. My daughters boyfriend had the clam chowder-he just had dental work so needed something liquid-and he loved it. Being from Maryland that is a definite compliment. We’ve tried the scallops at another time and they were melt in your mouth delicious and cooked perfectly If you are in AC and need a place with ambiance and great for this is the place.

Recently, my wife and I went to AC to see Whitesnake at the Trump Taj Mahal, so we decided to stay for the weekend and searched around for a place to have dinner in the area. Many of the restaurants had no dinner openings, but we were able to get an early seating over at the Chart House in the Golden Nugget hotel, and boy were we happy we did. Our waiter took care of our every need(even seating us overlooking the bay!) and kept us happy the entire time. The crab, mango, avocado tower appetizer was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten(must be tried to believe it!) and my wife had a seriously delicious smoked salmon & shrimp combo which was divine, while I had a mixed seafood sauté over linguine… just delicious. Yes, it was pricey, but the food was so good, the views awesome, and the service attentive, that it was worth every penny. If you are in AC, check this place out!

The service was so extremely poor that even though the food was excellent, I will never return. Her name was Briana, in the bar. As a former waitress I cannot believe that she expects people to tip her. What a waste of a great happy hour!

What a beautiful restaurant. We got a table for dinner with a nice view over the marina. The food was delicious but it was in the expensive side. Good for a formal date. Connected to the golden nugget. Difficult to find parking, we valeted our car and then got the restaurant to stamp the ticket(awesome!). I got fish but other people got the steak, clam linguine, etc and everything was good!

My husband and I chose the Chart House for our second anniversary dinner. The view is beautiful. However, they seated us about 15 minutes after our reservation time, which was irritating. The menu was customized with happy anniversary and our names, which made up for the wait. Bread was great and my drink was great– I had the sangria. My husband had a berry mule or something. I ordered the ahi tuna and he ordered the pasta with seafood. About 10 minutes pass and the server informs me they are out of tuna… so I reluctantly ordered mahi mahi. She brought our appetizer, the coconut shrimp. We liked it a lot. Unfortunately, I hated the mahi mahi. It was extremely dry and bland. The server did ask if I wanted something else, but there wasn’t anything else I wanted. No price adjustments were made even though I took 2 bites. Dessert(lava cake) was good. Honestly, everything was good except for the mahi mahi which was terrible. I would try again but for the price, I need to be wowed.

Awesome happy hour! The food was fresh and flavorful and the prices were great. My favorite dish was the spring rolls and tuna tartar. I also liked the chicken lettuce wraps. The décor is bright and modern. The service was fast and welcoming. The view of the marina is the best part of the experience! I will definitely to try this place for dinner on my next trip to AC.

My friends and I went for happy hour on Sunday. The seats at the bar and lounge were filled, but luckily a couple was leaving a table as we stepped into the lounge. The food was a bit lackluster. From their sampler, I enjoyed the tuna tartar but could pass on the spring roll. There was not much alcohol in my mango mojito(and I am a very light drinker). I preferred the taste of the pomegranate mojito that my friend chose. If you want a proper mojito, I recommend going to Cuba Libre at the Tropicana. It is a nice place to meet up and to enjoy the beautiful views of AC.

Dec 25: Went to AC for Christmas with my mother. Stayed at the Tropicana but drove to Charthouse for Christmas dinner. We have eaten there a lot of times. It’s not one of my faves but I have to say I had the New Surf and Turf for dinner and it was delicious. For an app, I had the chopped salad which I didn’t finish. Salad is a large portion. My mother had the shrimp cocktail(almost a very large portion) and the chicken romano. My mother has a bad stomach so the fact that the chicken was dry and bland was good for her but I wouldn’t order it. Our waiter was nice and explained everything we inquired about. What I didn’t like is not long after the apps were done, the food was there. No doubt to turn the table over quickly but when I’m out or away I like to relax and take my time. Digest. If you want good wine a glass will cost about $ 12. The place is slightly expensive. The view is superb. It’s right on the harbor. No doubt we will be back because my mother likes it.

Visited CH on a Saturday night. We made reservations 2 weeks ahead of time and got a nice booth facing the marina. It was our anniversary and they made a special menu with our names in it– very thoughtful. We started with the crab avocado mango app — delicious Meals: grilled fish trio w/salmon shrimp and a crab cake. It was the perfect amount not too much. Came with orzo veg medley. Also tried the surf and turf with short ribs and ginger scallops — awesome. We shared the choc molten cake. BEST molten cake ever ! & we tried a few. Will def visit again! Thanks for the wonderful night !

When you go to Atlantic City, you tend to do things a little different. Obviously my most recent trip there had to be done the same exact way with a late dinner to Chart House. Yes. It’s expensive, but bite the bullet, wine and dine, be merry. At a place like Chart House, the service is going to be impeccable. The staff are trained, knowledgable, and understand what the diner wants. That’s why they’re there. Let’s get to the food, the absolutely delicious food. No appetizers. I felt kinda weird about it, but nothing«spoke» to me. So instead, a couple of entrees were ordered with one side. Since the restaurant was basically empty(Thursday @ 9pm), our food came out rather fast. Seafood Pescatore($ 39). Delicious. Plenty of seafood surround and are immersed within the linguine. I would definitely recommend and order this dish again. Macadamia Crusted Striped Bass*($ 33). My date wasn’t into the Mahi, so we asked for Striped Bass. No issues at all. The peanut sauce was addicting and I could have licked the plate. Again, I would recommend and order this dish again. Lobster Mac & Cheese($ 13). Very large portion, which is surprising because I’ve seen this dish for a similar price in other restaurants and it was much smaller. It’s rich, thick, and full of lobster chunks. Hot Chocolate Lava Cake($ 11). We had to order this when we made our original order and even though it’s crazy good, I wish we didn’t. It’s huge and fills you up until you literally burst. I almost did. This dessert is insane. Zero complaints about Chart House. It was so good that next time I’m down in Atlantic City, no matter where I stay, I will consider heading to the Golden Nugget for this dinner.
