Great spot for HH — every day of the week from 5−7PM. Located smack in the middle of the Borgata casino, SeaBlue is a casual-cool place to quaff some delicious cocktails and watch gamblers glued to their respective slot machines. Or, nuzzle up on a cozy couch and drown out your losses from a day spent making pretentious bets. Either way you choose, this place has some of the best drink offerings at the Borgata, and prices to match. Don’t miss the passionfruit sangria or the pineapple mojito; both are refreshing and perfectly potent. They will have you back to blackjack in no time!

Lobster pot pie!!! That’s what its about!!! The lobster bisque is okay, the special that evening was hanger steak with a poach egg on top. Envy thing was good but the lobster pot pie is the way to go… they bring it out and serve table side. It is in a traditional pot pie appearance but then the server states serving. First they lay the top of the pie crust onto the plate, then the lobster(already cut into pieces) on top of the crust. Then the rest of the items in the pot and then the gray like sauce on top… YUMMY! It you ever come here you must try.

The place is nice… and the food is decent… but it is definitely over priced for what you get.

I was really looking forward to eating here as some of my friends had a great dinner and experience here. However I was completely dissappointed. I was down for a weekend get away with 4 of my girfriends and we always go out to a nice dinner. We had 9:15pm reservations. We arrived at 9:20 and we were seated promptly. We waited ~5 minutes for some water and then we just kept waiting. Our waitress never came over to great us. We waited some more and then asked someone walking by where the manager was. This person happened to be our waitress. She seemed unfazed that we wanted to speak to the manager and then pointed to where he was. The manager came to our table and we told him how long we were waiting; at this point it was 30 minutes and we were not even given a drink menu. The manager said the waitress was busy and said he was sorry. he did not offer any free drinks, apps or any discount. I guess he did not care that he lost out on a big bill.

Way dissapointed. The service very good the food not so much. 4 girls, away from husbands and babies ready to throw down and fine dine. Appetizers, tuna tartare ok –general consensus everyone has had better, presentation with«mix-ins’ ok. Also, salad menu is great and huge, but we are not at the ponderosa– we dont need so many salad fixings when we fine dine. Naan bread with spicy hummus spread = awesome. Doesn’t really go with the theme of «seafood» however, as an indian, I don’t turn down hot buttered naan. EVER ! Entrée– 1) 2 of us got the snapper and shrimp battered– should say«deep fried and slathered in chili duck sauce» seriously it was just not good. 2) one of us got the scallops– overall, not overly impressed but, we liked, over cooked. 3) hanger steak– a fatty peice of meat cooked medium– nicely done, and only person who truly enjoyed their meal. Service was top notch, friendly attentive etc. food not so much. Michael, you can do better especially at «sea food restaurant»

Dinner for 4 was outstanding. Not sure what happened for those with 1 star reviews, because we had great food and great service. Started off with make your own salad — everyone loved the chance to create a tailored salad — curried cashews and Asian pears were two of the choices. For an appetizer, the charcuterie board was our favorite. For dinner, we tried both the wood grilled salmon and the roasted chicken special with veal fois gras au jus. All very good. The restaurant is a little pricey but we thought the food quality was really outstanding as was the service, We had one of the most professional waiters — very knowledgeable about the menu and always around if you needed anything.

The ONLY reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars is for the excellent service — I would give negative for the food. The décor is nothing to brag about unless you like the art deco splashed with 60s mob style, especially compared to the Michael Mina at Bellagio in Vegas. We were vacationing in Ocean City, which is only 20 mins away from AC. It was a girls night out in Atlantic City and we decided on SeaBlue by Michael Mina because 1) the infamous 2lb Lobster Pot Pie(original one in Vegas is MUCH better) 2) Braised Bone Marrow app. We ordered the Bone Marrow and Crab fritters. Bone Marrow was undercooked, the marrow was tough and not spreadable on the toast. I’ve had Bone Marrow a few times at other great restaurants — I know what ITCAN be and could taste like. I was so disappointed. The crab fritters were ok but for the price, you can probably spend it at a crab shack in Ocean City somewhere for a much better meal. OK, for the entrée — we had a 1) filet mignon, asked for medium rare — came out medium well — a bit tasteless. 2) 2 American Kobe sirloin, medium rare — came out way too red, very tough so be warn, it is nothing like the Japanese Kobe and 3) the infamous Lobster Pot Pie — it was mediocre at best, the sauce was not thick enough, too much water, the veggies were all over cooked, soggy and DID not compliment the pot pie. Seriously, who puts broccoli rabe in a pot pie!!! The crust was the only thing that stayed consistent compared to the Michael Mina at the Bellagio. I’ve had the lobster pot pie and can attest the one in Vegas was made to perfection, creamy, delicious with exotic mushrooms and garden root veggies. None of that cheap supermarket veggies — for $ 68! You can do so much better. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience for $ 400! I would not recommend what we’ve ordered, however you may want to try other menu items.

This is a great place to eat!!! Really nice service! a great Bar, and outstanding cuisine! We had Shrimp Linguine and hanger steak from the Michael Mina classics menu, and both were outstanding! also started with fried shrimp calamari and fish, and the Octopus, both were outstanding once again. it really couldn’t have been better! The Octopus reminded me of the octopus at Tinto, the only difference was the portion was bigger here… thank god for that :) Don’t pass up the dessert!!! the ice cream was unbelievable!!! one of the flavors is browned butter, OMG it was amazing!!! The Malt flavor is really nice and the Chocolate will just blow you away with flavor.

As part of my birthday tour, I had the pleasure of visiting this elegant and chic restaurant. It is located in the Borgata hotel, which is a multipurpose building that also houses several other high end restaurants, shops, food court, casino, auditorium, etc. We were running late for our reservation time but the hostess was very pleasant. She was also very organized as she noted my birthday and seated us immediately. Despite the elegant and chic aspects of the restaurant, they also made efforts towards keeping with the water theme by having animation type designs on the walls that simulated a fish tank with fish swimming around. I thought it was cool but for some like my birthday crew… not so much. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu but always seemed a little rushed, which I think detracted from the interactions. She wasn’t rude but not very personable either. There was a complementary hummus and crispy flatbread appetizer that was very satisfying. The hummus was balanced flavorwise and the flatbread pieces were an excellent vehicle for dipping/scooping along with providing a nice crunch element. The lobster bisque tasted good but came in a small portion size. There was also a very limited amount of lobster. The bisque itself served its purpose despite having a thin consistency but for the quality of the restaurant I expected a better product. Yes, I’m a snob when it comes to lobster bisque. For the entrees we had the butternut squash risotto and the salmon with fingerling potatoes. The risotto was fantastic. I’m not much of a squash person and I was also concerned about not having a protein in the dish but all those concerns went bye bye once I started eating. The risotto came in a large portion size and was very creamy. The ratio of rice to veggies and cheese was perfect and the dish was very filling. The salmon was also nice portion sized, properly cooked and seasoned. The fingerling potatoes were a nice complement to the dish and were also properly prepared. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake and the sorbet. Both were just average. They didn’t really have a «wow» factor to take it to the next level like I hoped, especially given my sweet tooth. The highlight of the desserts was having«Happy Birthday» written in syrup. Yayyyyyy ME!!! So if you’re ever in Atlantic City and looking for a high end restaurant to splurge on with some of your casino winnings or if you find a package deal online with one of the hotels(Water Club, Borgata, etc.), good spot to check out!

SeaBlue delivers yet again with fresh flavorful food presented in an exciting way. The Sea Bass with Prawns in Chili Sauce is hands down the best dish in the place. This is the second time I’ve been there, the first being about three years ago, and it was as good as I remembered. The noise level is energetic and you might have to dine amongst the cast offs from the Jersey Shore, complete with muscle shirts and ultra mini skirts and nine inch heels(not a judgement or complaint, just an observation, remember you are in a casino). Give it a try when in AC. Think of it as dinner and a show, you won’t be disappointed.

So, I have to say that I came here a year ago and I dont remember what I’ve had. Now usually, that’s not weird to say, but with the prices of this place, you would expect that the meal was good enough to remember. It was not. Very overpriced for what you get, I would say that this place is OK. The day before I went to SeaBlue, i went to Bobby Flay’s Steakhouse– and i STILL remember what I got! Thank goodness this meal was all on comps!!!

Our waitress was also named Andrea and even though we were ordering from the prixe fixe menu she let us order deviled eggs off the regular menu. Again to all the crybabies, this is a casino. if you ask nicely in any of the restaurants they will pretty much bend over backwards. i had the lobster bisque which was a bit too rich, but heck its bisque, it’s supposed to be rich and creamy. I had the risotto for my main it was decent. The food was pretty standard the only reason why I would ever go back is the root beer float dessert… omg insane

Like most recent reviewers, a very overrated and under sub-par experience at Sea Blue. I wasn’t aware that SeaBlue was a corporate herd chain, but it is. It’s really too bad … This place gets a negative review from me for quite a few reasons. First, my main dish was shrimp linguini, and it was very bland. Extremely bland. Little to no taste at all. Not good. The portion was also extremely small, and it was $ 36.00 mind you. Naan bread was gross as well, your fingers stunk like cinnamon sticky buns after touching the Naan. I have had real Naan from Indian restaurants, this wasn’t good Naan bread at SeaBlue, The meals took forever, a very long time. My mother had a steak which was not cooked properly and was not good at all for that matter. once again, extremely bland. Being that this is in the Borgata, the casino should can this place, quickly. I give the restaurant 2 stars for pleasant service, clean bathrooms, and a decent salad. I was with my mother and the bill was way over $ 160.00 … way, way, overpriced.

Could not get in Bobby Flay’s so we went to SeaBlue. Staff was great and very helpful. My fish unfortunately came under cooked, more raw than anything. They fixed it right away and it tasted great, just was surprised. For the price and high end prices I expected better quality. Not raw fish, I never send anything back. I had to this time It was fixed in a timely manner, but I probably won’t be back.

My husband booked a get-away to Borgata, which included«prix fix» dinner at Sea Blue. We made reservations for 6:30, since we try not to eat late. We were seated promptly, and took in the lovely décor of the restaurant. Water was quickly delivered, and the waiter provided the menus for us to peruse. We selected a bottle of white wine [Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc — very nice and light, perfect on a summer’s eve] and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with the sommelier. The waiter came to take our order, and started by saying that the«prix fix» menu comes in half portions. That really threw us off. I asked what he meant, and, again, he stressed that these portions are served smaller than off the menu. Having traveled all over the world, and eaten«prix fix» dinners in France, Italy and other countries, I have never heard of those dishes being served as half portions. The waiter was adamant. Whatever! We chose tuna tartar and lobster bisque for appetizer, and both of us selected the halibut with clams, shrimp and sausage for the main dish. Naan was served as dinner bread — unusual, but we love naan, so it went down easy. The soup was served, and tartar delivered. Presentations were nice — but my tartar was absolutely bland! After having endured the waiter’s lecture on «half portions»(!!) I was not going to force myself to eat bland food. I sent it back, asking for more spices and flavors to be added. The dish was served anew, with a variety of spices and pine nuts added around the tartar mold. Once mixed in, what a huge difference! My husband’s slightly-oversalted lobster bisque, he said, was average. The halibut was served — charred slice of fish in a broth of either green peas or pesto, served with 3 – 4 shrimp and clams, and slivers of sausage, yellow corn and green beans mixed in. The fish by itself was salty, and a dry on the seared side. But, combined with the broth and veggies, was ok. The shrimp were overcooked; 2 out of 4 clams were empty… For dessert, the description did not match the dish: we thought we were getting lemon custard with berry sauce — ended up being small doughnut holes filled with cheese, served on a smudge of lemon custard and berry sauce. Overall, if these dishes came off the full-price menu, they all would have been sent back as being sub-standard to what one would expect from this type of restaurant. I already sent a dish back, and did not want to spoil the evening any more. It was an equivalent of Olive Garden-type of establishment’s standards: average taste, for mass consumption. But the portions were just fine, thank you very much. For larger size persons, perhaps it would not be filling. But for a typical guest, it will be just fine, as long as they make it well. Finishing our wine, my husband did share our thoughts and«half-portion» warning with the manager. She agreed that such a start is a definite kill-joy, when you come to a restaurant for the first time. Hopefully, she took the necessary steps with the staff. But she was kind enough to serve us complimentary port.

Maybe it’s because everyone runs late in AC, but I was still pleased that they still accommodated my boyfriend and I(we were at least 15 minutes late for our Friday night, prime dinner time reservation). The bar area is very chic and has a fun vibe — looks like it would be great to hang out there during happy hour(although it’s more of an older crowd). We were seated towards the back where it felt a little more secluded — perfect setting for our dinner date. The tables were nicely set apart so we weren’t all up in other peoples’ meals and conversations. Our waiter was very nice, but he could have been more attentive. I loved the white cranberry cosmo. It was a great twist to a classic drink. Food presentation was simple but appealing and not overdone. They start you off with pita bread and some kind of butter that I can’t recall. Regardless, it was good & I would’ve been happy with just that and my cocktail. Appetizer: Mixed fry(shrimp, calamari, aioli; $ 14) It was pretty good except that the portion was a lot smaller than expected. There were 2, maybe 3 pieces of everything. Entrees: 1) Miso-glazed Chilean Sea Bass(ginger shrimp, bok choy, mushroom dashi; $ 44). Chilean Sea Bass is my favorite fish, and I really enjoyed the dish. I loved the miso glaze — the big spoon they gave came in handy! 2) Local scallops($ 32). Its presentation and dressing was good. Taking location, décor, etc all into account, I still believe the food was a little pricey, but at least it was tasty!

If I were to go to Borgata for a day, I’d choose to eat here. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious! This is where we found our love for oysters from Canada. Servers were very accommodating and food was great. This restaurant set different colored napkins on our laps, being considerate of what we were wearing, lol.

One of very few fancy seafood restaurants I actually like. I must of walked passed this restaurant a dozen times before finally eating in here. Food — Some of the portions here are a little small depending on what you get. But the food itself is pretty delicious here. For appetizer, I had the crispy crab croquette which was very tasty. The sauce they used was flavorful. It went perfect with the crab meat. I ordered the angus rib chop and lobster for my entrée(I’m a beast). The meat was very juicy, cooked to perfection! The lobster wasn’t bad or spectacular. Compared to my usual style lobster that I enjoy(broiled with awesome breading and butter dip), this lobster came off a little weak but still delightful. Service — The waiters here are super nice but waiting for the food can take awhile but it’s worth it. At least they handle your food with care. Verdict — Please do not bring your kids here. If you’re a winner at Borgata, treat yourself to a nice dinner here. It’s a pleasant experience.

A great, sexy look tied with great food and surprisingly good music.(I admit to having shazam’d a few tracks off the mix.) I’ve eaten here several times now and it’s never a disappointment. Oysters are always perfectly fresh and served with a luscious mignonette. The scallop ceviche here is a wonderful, unique presentation. Served in a bowl with flatbread accompaniment, it in one dish has more style than anything on Izakaya’s whole menu. Create your own salad is a great treat, allowing you to select up to ten premium items to make your own custom salad. The marinated white anchovies are my personal favorite. The fried tasting trio is composed of Lobster Corn dogs, Tempura Scallops, and Dungeness crab spring rolls. Every bite worth those naughty fry calories. The ‘chips on fish’ potato-scaled pompano was deemed by my guest to be one of the best overall preparations of fish he’d ever eaten. High praise indeed. Unfortunately no room for dessert, but maybe next time, and yes, there will be a next time!
