I absolutely love this place! Whether I am staying in Harrah’s or one of the other hotels– I ALWAYS make sure I have dinner at Luke while in Atlantic City. The restaurant itself is beautiful with an open kitchen. The service is precise and the food is just amazing.

I’m really surprised by all the negative reviews here. Fortunately, I have yet to have a bad experience(fingers crossed). I’ve dined here three times so far, I think, and every time was great. I’ve had three different types of meals here: bar snacks and drinks, dinner, and a ‘sunday dinner’ prix fixe type of meal. The décor didn’t really stand out to me and the bar area in the front is pretty tiny, but it’s a restaurant inside a casino, so no biggie. What did stand out to me every time was the food. Holy hot damn, the food is so good! The peppers alla nonna, amazing. Melt in your mouth, rich flavor. The arancini with its sottocenere cheese, salty and fried to a crisp. We had a zucchini appetizer of which I don’t recall the name of, but it was tangy with vinegar and a pop of mint, refreshing and tart and surprising. The pastas are impeccable. The most memorable I had was the most incredible mushroom cream linguine. Calorically and portion-wise, my body kept telling me enough was enough, but I ignored all that. I wanted to lick the serving platter but somehow kept my dignity. I look forward to eating here again, and will likely do so this weekend. I have yet to eat at the original Luke Palladino restaurant, but I intend to do so someday. Good Italian food, what a beautiful thing.

Beautiful décor and friendly helpful bartenders made this an enjoyable experience despite the high prices and hit or miss dishes. The lime spumonte cocktail was delightful. The pork belly shorti was spectacular, a sandwich blended of very hot and very sweet tastes. The misses for me were the sauteed calamari bruschetta, which came with a bland awful tomato sauce that wasn’t listed on the menu, and the arancini, which was far too salty and heavy for me. The arancini was a big hit with other diners, however. The hours are horrible! From Sunday through Thursday, 5 full days, this place is open a total of 12 hours. In a casino that is busy even mid-week during the winter those hours are silly.

To be clear, I didn’t get to eat here. I wanted to, but couldn’t. Tried to make a reservation for 15 for Anniversary. Get into this endless loop with Harrah’s central reservation system, but in order to make the reservation, I need to talk with the manager because it is a large group. Finally someone gives me the email. Never hear back. Then finally get in touch with restaurant during dinner hours. Make a reservation and hostess tells me that manager will email me the set menu which they have to do for big groups and that they will charge my credit card if I don’t cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Never hear from the manager about the menu. So I cancel with central reservation 24 hours because we have a lot of allergies so didn’t want to take a chance. So then I go to the restaurant on same day I want to make the reservation. A very nice woman says she knows manager and will email him. She does… twice. Still never hear from the guy. So I just gave up.

Had our one year anniversary dinner here a few nights ago. The staff was so friendly, as were the guests dining at nearby tables(who were also celebrating their anniversaries!) The breadsticks wrapped in prosciutto were phenomenal! So simple yet so delicious. The prosciutto was so fresh, and the display piece that they came in was beautiful. We shared two dinners: a pasta on special that included chunks of lobster, arugula, and cherry tomatoes and the braciole. Both were absolutely delicious. We ordered the ricotta zeppoles for dessert and they brought them out with a candle for our anniversary. It was just a very beautiful dinner. We really could not have asked for a better experience.

My group of four had a pretty disappointing experience at Luke Palladino this past Christmas Eve. This restaurant is overpriced and overrated. Let me start with the ambiance. Oh wait, what ambiance? The room was pretty plain with very little décor. While this probably would have been fine for a buffet, I’d expect more out of a gourmet establishment. I’m not sure what they were going for, but the room was very well lit. A little mood lighting might have helped. It just reminded me of a big, open white space with some tables. I wasn’t too thrilled with the service either. We had two women as our servers and it seemed like they couldn’t care less about our party. They weren’t friendly or helpful. To top that off, we barely saw them. I’m not expecting a new BFF but a little more attention would have been nice. Luckily the food was the one saving grace to the evening. The table split the Italian shellfish capon magro and the Truffled Grissini. The shellfish platter was pretty good although not the fantastic seafood experience that one would expect by the jersey shore. The lobster, shrimp and jumbo lump crab seemed fresh enough although I’ve had fresher. The pine nuts and salsa Verde had a nice taste, although it could have been more flavorful. The truffled grissini was great. If you are looking to split an appetizer with a group, I’d certainly recommend the 6 piece. Based on Unilocal recommendations, I ordered the veal saltimbocca as my main. I really enjoyed this dish. The veal was extremely tender and the flavors of sage, prosciutto and white wine pan glaze blended very nicely together. The sauteed spinach and farro polenta were a nice touch to tie the entire dish together. There was another order of the veal saltimbocca, a pasta dish and a veal dish which I didn’t really get to sample. No one seemed blown away by their dish. I did thoroughly enjoy my veal. We had a bottle of the«Costamolino» with our dinner which I enjoyed. I wasn’t involved in the selection process although it seemed there was disappointment in the available selection and the pricing. We passed on dessert for the evening. I reiterate that Luke Palladino was overpriced and nothing special. We didn’t have the phenomenal dining experience or food that would come with the price tag, and I will not be returning.

The service and food was great. The décor was classy. The services was attentive. The MUSHROOMANDTALEGGIOCRESPELLE was delicious. The OLIVEFRITTE was too salty for both my boyfriend and I. For dinner we had two desert wine Brachetto d’Acqui«Pineto,» Marenco, 2010 Piemonte and the Moscato d’Asti with lime which were both sweet and tasty. I loved Brachetto its my favorite wine most places don’t carry it so I was very happy to find it on the menu. I had the Egg Plant LASAGNA it was great, I don’t recall what my boyfriend had but I will include a picture of both our meals.

You must try the tasting menu if you go here. It is completely worth the price and you get a massive amount of food! The food quality and service was exceptional. We would defiantly go back to this restaurant. The food came out in a timely matter and the staff was very helpful and friendly. A must try!

I went to Luke Palladino with my girlfriend for dinner. The first thing we noticed is that the restaurant was not crowded at all but it was on a Monday night so it is not a busy night in Atlantic City. The waitress and waiters were very nice and always checking on the tables to ensure premium service. The three formaggi were very good, but I had that for dessert instead of appetizer. We had the 4 piece Truffled Grissini which was good as the proscuitto was fresh and although I do not love breadsticks, I enjoyed this cold appetizer. We also had the Caciocavallo Scaloppine which was phenomenal and delicious but only served 3 pieces for such a delicious item. I had the Seafood Brodetto which was very good but I felt it was too small of an entrée for the price. My girlfriend had pasts which she enjoyed very much. The overall portion size was small but delicious. I was very satisfied with my food and dessert here. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody going to Harrah’s who enjoys italian food.

Food wasn’t that bad. But for pasta and sausage n an app of 4 slices of salami and cheese 2 beers for 125 $ you’re smoking dope to charge that. Nothing even that good food was mediocre and I’m sorry again 125 $ for simple pasta sausage and pasta w mushrooms you’re out of your mind. Ppl bring your money elsewhere this is absolutely not worth it.

Great place to eat while in AC. If you are tired of waiting in line at the buffet and don’t want the fast food fare. I would recommend this place for a great Italian meal. Service was great as soon as we walked in. Great décor and very clean. We ordered the calamari for the app and they were DEEELISH, along with the lobster bisque, which had large chunks of lobster! Our waitress recommenced a wine which complimented the meal! For the entrée — the milanese was huge! A lot of flavor, it was so big we both could not finish it. We will defiantly return. Thanks for a great time and a great meal.

Rating for the bar only! Had a very pleasant conversation with the bartender(Mike?) while sipping some wine and keeping my boozed up fiancé on his bar stool. The food looked delicious and the service was phenomenally personal and friendly. I will make it a point to return for dinner on my next AC trip.

I had a nice dinner here while down for a quick overnight at Harrah’s, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. My Mom and her boyfriend had the chicken parm, and they were satisfied. I enjoyed the eggplant parm and my boyfriend had the gnocchi, both which were also very good. We all shared a few appetizers, including a cheese platter, seafood salad, and fresh prosciutto(which was out of this world good).

Had a quick meal here last Friday night before heading over to an event at another hotel in the Boardwalk, so although our meal was lovely and filling for what we needed at the time, I’ve gotta say that it would likely be even better if we were here for a longer amount of time to enjoy one of the tasting menus and some wine pairings, etc. This however, was just not that type of night. I sure am happy we came here though! After perusing the menu for quite some time, the one dish we both looked forward to the most actually turned out to be the most disappointing. If the Cjalson Ravioli are on the menu when you dine here, just do yourself a favor and stay away. Brown butter & Sage are typically cool with me, but something was just awry. Luckily, the saving grace to our shared appetizers was the Mushroom & Taleggio Crispelle! Oh. My. Goodness! This little crêpe filled with wild mushrooms and taleggio cheese then topped with a lovely cream sauce and finally drizzled with an aged balsamic was pure heaven. Worth the lovely little price tag — which I will take the opportunity to mention here that the prices are offset by a dollar or so when you are a Total Rewards member! Bam! Onto dinner…2 of us also decided to share the«Strozzapreti Alla Norma» which was essentially the best Roasted Eggplant ever! The fresh mozzarella cheese and pomedora tomato sauce were both Jersey farm to table fresh which means out of this world but from right here at home! Be sure to order a side of pasta — which they prepare perfectly al dente and lightly tossed with a gorgeous tomato sauce. No time was spared for dessert but I promise you Luke, I will be back! With a décor that is as simply divine as the food, everything about this restaurant is far too wonderful to be overlooked.

Superb dining experience at Luke Palladino. I’m always weary about casino dining, but this place blew me out of the water on all fronts. Food was excellet. A good blend of sophisticated traditional Italian and unique modern Italian. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Wine list and cocktail offerings were delicious. I would put this place on par with any upscale Italian in Philly or New York.

I visited Harrah’s Atlantic City over the weekend, and I actually blogged about the whole trip here: But since you’re here to find out about Luke Palladino’s, I’ll cut right to the chase. We started things off with a bunch of appetizers, ordering the Mushroom and Taleggio Crespelle, Arancini, Gnocchi, and Beef Carpaccio. They were all PHENOMINAL. Three days later, and I’m still thinking about that Arancini! After appetizers, it was time for the main event. I got the Veal Saltimbocca, my wife got the Organic Chicken, and Jerry got the Grilled Dunedin Natural Veal Chop. This time, I had the good sense to snap some pictures before we started eating! As expected, the food was amazing! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Chef Luke(who we actually got to meet!) puts out some amazing dishes, and we’ll definitely be coming back here the next time we stay at Harrah’s.

Nice-looking restaurant. Big cozy booths and large tables in a fairly big dining area split into separate sections. Note it is warmer in the back by the kitchen. As for the food, our dinner was not exciting and it is expensive. The famous stuffed zucchini flowers? Well, they are good, but you get two, so chew slowly. The fried calamari? Has a weird batter, more like Japanese panko, and spicy-mayo type sauce. If you ask me, you get better in a good bar and grill. For the entrees, the pasta with tomato-pomadoro ‘fresco is a total bust. No flavor. The brasciole entrée is tangy and tasty, a recommended dish. For dessert, the limoncello gelato with espresso and cookie is really a delicious dish. Warning, don’t expect to sleep much after the espresso! Looking at other diners as exiting, no one looked overly excited. Saw someone eating a veal chop that looked nice, but beware that is a $ 50 entrée. I would try this restaurant again and try different foods, however, I know many Italian restaurants that I’d prefer to have dinner for half the price.

I was staying at Harrah’s, and was looking for Italian fare, so I decided to try Luke Palladino(after reviewing the menu online). The service was great(a little slow, but it was a busy Saturday night, so that’s understandable), and the food was phenomenal. A friend of mine and I were dining together — we loved their unique drink menu — I recommend the«Ombra» or Asti w/fresh lime juice — both very refreshing! We couldn’t decide on entrees, so we split several appetizers instead. Two must haves: the mushroom/tallegio crêpe and the squash blossoms! Also, try the cheeses(they offer a 3, 5 or 7 cheese selection) — they have many great choices, and the server will cater the selections to your preferences. On the way out, we stopped by the«cheese table» and spoke with Mr. Palladino — he was very personable. We had a few questions about the cheeses, and he patiently answered our questions(especially considering how chaotic the kitchen was!). I’ll definitely go there again!
