Sonic Drive-In

This location is my favorite! Fast, friendly service and excellent quality :)

They don’t pay attention to your order most of the time. Usually rude. Half the time the ice cream machines don’t work. Some card swipers still broken after months. Save yourself the trouble and drive a couple extra miles down the street to the one in Cross Roads.

hamburger cold, tater tots were beyond greasy. I would give it a zero, but Unilocal won’t allow it.

no one even answered at the menu, so we had to pull up to the window to order, like wtf. we pulled up and it’s full of people, how could they not hear us?

I avoid this location at all costs, but a few mornings ago I was out of coffee and desperate! This location is NOTORIOUSLY slow, ESPECIALLY the drive-​thru, but since I was the only customer in the whole place and there were at least two employees inside, I thought it would be fine. I ordered two large black coffees, no food, no special orders, no sugar, no cream. It took five minutes to get my coffee! As usual, they seemed to be in no hurry at all and I think they forgot I was waiting.
Bonus: when the girl handed me my change, she slammed the window and practically ran away. I looked at my change: 12 pennies. Seriously?

Always fast and friendly. Great place to stop and get a drink for a good price, without having to step inside a gas station!

Either they’ve read the bad reviews on here and fired all of the deadweight, or I’m just lucky to get good experiences here at this location.
I don’t eat Sonic much but come here for my husband. Food is always hot, order is right, and I don’t wait long. Crossing fingers that it stays that way…

They are usually ridiculously slow to take your order, and then talk so fast that you can’t understand them. I’ve been here a total of 4 times. The only person I was impressed with was an african american carhop. He was very friendly and prompt with my drink. He’s the only reason I’m even giving one star. This star is just for him.
But this morning was the last time I’ll EVER go to this Sonic. I pressed the button as soon as I pulled in at 6:22am, because I knew exactly what I wanted. I waited for 3 minutes, and no one answered. There was someone in the kitchen, and girl outside cleaning the pavement (huge waste of water, by the way). So I left. If the girl was supposed to take my order, she should have gone inside when she saw me pull into the stall.
If you’re in the area, I highly suggest going to either Crossroads for faster service, or Aubrey on 377 for faster and much friendlier service.

Worst service at a Sonic I have ever had and on two occasions. The first time we ordered just drinks and waited 15 minutes before finally we just left. Thankfully we did not pay with our card at the drive-​up. And today we pulled up to the drive thru to avoid being forgotten, two cars ahead of us already at the window. Five minutes and no one ever came over the intercom… we drove off. I’ll drive to crossroads before going to this location again.

Very slow, the staff is quite rude and the food is so-​so. I can’t really blame the kids that work there… I have personally seen the manager avoid customers on multiple occasions. Those kids are busting their butt in the heat and he scurries to the back if they are overloaded. If it feels like you are an inconvenience, I assure you, you are.

The number 1 (burger, fries and drink) was great and tasted awesome. This is a nice convenient place to where we were staying the look of the restaurant was nice. The only downfall was the wait it took a long time to get our order. Oh yes and the coney dog was fantastic!
Seeing all the sonic ads and growing up hearing about Sonic Never having any in San Diego or close to us this was my ‘just do it moment’
I gave this 4 stars –1 because of the wait!
