First time visiting. Liked the multiple baseball games showing as that is the only sport I’m into. Nachos were alright, would have preferred to know it was served with olives and onions. Server sounded very nice and polite… The one single time she spoke other than taking our order. Just say«Is everything OK» more often and your golden.

When you walk into a bar called«The Home Plate» you sure don’t expect to see Family Fued on all the tv’s… Wtf?

Bartender was very standoffish, the exact opposite personality of someone you’d expect working as a bartender. She was the kind of person who makes sure that you don’t come back because they clearly don’t want to earn your money. The place smelled of BO, but it was clean otherwise. The pool tables weren’t too bad. I’ll be spending my money at establishments who are actually interested in it.

After walking from the amazing Rainbow Café, I stumbled apon some very nice people smoking something from a glass pipe. They mentioned something about skittles, and how pretty they are. Anyways, as soon as I entered the bar I immediately ordered a pitcher of Rainier, cause that shit is classy. Then I ordered the squirrel sized gizzards, and they were super awesome!!! Bottom line, this place is very nice, and has a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend the cheese bowl that comes with the pretzel’s.

My group of friends and I have frequented this bar several times and have enjoyed going here for karaōke. This past Saturday we watched the Seahawks game down the street at another bar and decided to go do some karaōke as we were celebrating two birthdays in our group. After we arrived, a few people in our party went up to order drinks and were told everyone was far too intoxicated to be served; however they did serve the one person in our group who actually was the drunkest which I thought was strange. When I inquired personally with the bartender, he told me I was red in the face and everyone else was just too drunk. We had walked 4 blocks in 40 degree temperatures, of course my face was red! Not to mention, I am very fair skinned and tend to get rosy cheeks after half a glass of wine. I understand that bartenders have a responsibility to not over serve, but none of us were intoxicated to the point in which we should have been cut off. The entire situation was handled so poorly and rudely. We are a very responsible group that had several designated drivers for the evening, myself being one of them. Not to mention, the other times we have been to this bar we have never been cut off even when people probably should have. It put a real damper on an evening that should have been a celebration of the Seahawk’s playoff win and our friend’s birthdays. Needless to say, we took out business elsewhere and will not be returning or recommending this establishment to anyone.

This is the worst bar in Auburn and possibly Washington state. How this place has not been shut down by the health inspector or embarrassment is beyond me. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good dive bar, but there not even trying. I think there employees are on drugs. We ordered nachos right when we showed up. Then we watched an entire football game still no nachos. The entire game, never once were we approached by a server or waitress. I ordered a beer then watched the bartender go outside for a smoke. When she came back she had completely forgotten about the beer. Then she yells at me because I didn’t constantly remind her to get my beer or food. When we did finally get a beer it was beyond warm. I’ve never seen so many meth heads and tweekers in one place. We put a $ 20 down and ran for the door. We didn’t want to stick around for 30 minutes while she tried to count out change. There was couple of homeless people fighting outside. If you’re in that area skip this place. Spunky Monkey and Oddfellas are a block away and actually have food and cold drinks. I would leave zero stars if it would allow.

Looking for a close bar and stumbled upon here. After being kinda worried, wondering what we got ourselves into once we walked in. But by the end of our night we decided we would totally come back! Interesting crowd, majority was an older crowd! They were doing karaōke! And some were actually talented! Have some pool tables, pull tabs, and electric bar games! The drink prices were great! The two bartenders were a riot! Totally on top of our drink needs. This place is by no means fancy or classy but if you are looking for a no fuss/dive bar you might enjoy it! Great place to drink and people watch!

The bar itself is pretty cool, they have several pool tables, a nice long bar, a lot of seating, and karaōke. This place was packed when we came in, so we assumed it was going to be a rockin night… uhhh… not so much. We drove from Seattle to come check this place out and brought 5 friends. Despite how nice the bar is, it attracts an odd ugly crowd. Majority of the people here were older(40 – 50), and the few young ones were trashy and embarrassing. If this is your crowd, you’ll love it here! If not, I would suggest somewhere else. We will not be returning.
