LOVE central ave pub! The signature peach drink is AMAZING but dangerous in the best way. The pizza is a must have! Very fresh and filling. Karaōke at 9 with David never disappoints. He’s a great entertainer who keeps the party going. This might be my and my boyfriends new home bar. Can’t wait to come back!

Pretty good burgers — not six napkin affairs, but two patties. Excellent prime rib French dip sandwich — each on the happy hour for $ 6! But the real story is the thin yet meaty, chewy fries., best I’ve tasted for a loooong time!!! A nice, clean, spacious place. Good food, cold beer (Miller High Life cheap on happy hour), and lots of bar and table space. Good and fast service. Nice!

I really like this place. Good menu, great selection of brews, TV and, above all, a place in which you can feel welcome and appreciated.
I live 40 miles away, but was in the area one afternoon and stopped by to have a quick beer. There were other places I could have stopped I suppose, but they looked a bit edgy so I decided to head south to Auburn where I knew of some more attractive places. No need to go further than this place. Good service, a nice atmosphere and a good crowd. This has got to be the best place in Kent to spend an evening. Although, thank goodness, it’s closer to Auburn than to Kent.
If I ever find myself in the area again, I’ll stop by. I need to try some of the menu items. I like it, no kidding. If this sort of thing continues I don’t know where we’ll ever find a dive bar again.

I stopped in the other day and played some free Poker and had an amazing prime rib sandwich. I read old reviews. Apparently there is a new owner that turned this place around. I believe it. I will be back to try the rest of the menu!

This is a fairly new spot. It’s kind of hidden along central ave in kent, a hidden gem! Love the place, it has pool tables, arcades, and other goodies. What I love about this place, is the food! Especially the chicken wangs! Once you bite into that chicken that juice just burst in your mouth filled with all these flavors. Not only the food, but the bartender, Jon is one of the best bartenders hands down! This guy can make ANYTHING! He’ll make you a drink that’ll creep up on you and you won’t even know what hit you! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and looking for a quick grub and a drink!

The last time I came to this bar it was dark and loud. The new owners have taken care to rehabilitate the old bar. They have scraped the black paint off the windows and opened up the feel of the bar. It is now clean and friendly. The bartenders here know how to pour a good drink and have fun doing it.

This is one of the few bars in the south sound to fully support live music of all types from around the region. It is a divey like atmosphere, so if you aren’t into that kind of scene, maybe somewhere on Capital Hill is more your speed. Either way, the food is good bar food and the drinks are stiff. They also have all your normal bar games like pool and darts, etc. This isn’t the Ritz. This is like Road House without the fights and Patrick Swayze. So if you don’t mind getting a beer stain on your fancy pants, you will be just fine. Never been overcharged for anything here., although that can happen anywhere you run a tab.

How to start?!
The food is better than your average bar food. That is the ONLY pro.
The whole place is dirty… even when you’re drunk you are thinking to yourself that you should probably shower as soon as you get home.
When I was here last, a friend of mine was over charged by $ 100 on their tab and had to fight with the owner about the mistake. His wife (bar tending that night), «doesn’t make mistakes». Wow. Someone is a little ignorant and does not comprehend the human error factor.
Karaōke sucks unless you’re a regular, otherwise you get to sing maybe once. maybe twice.
There is a really odd set of people in here too… you get your preppy Kent peeps, some goths and gays and then there’s the 30 yr old-ish truck drivers and meth heads. To be crude and completely honest, if there is any confusion as to what trash is… stop by for a visit.
