All I can say is that the Auburn Longhorns is nothing like Portsmouth’s. The décor is lacking and it’s much smaller in size probably at least half the size or tinier, those differences are very apparent once you walk inside. The greeters were friendly enough and our waitress was attentive at first but forgot to bring our salads before the meal, she checked in once after everything was on the table. Don’t bother with their French onion soup as it was mostly cheese and instead of a hard French bread top it had what seemed to be toaster Wonder bread, just pass on this, the salads were lacking and the blue cheese dressing was mostly mayo. My prime rib however was excellent as well as my brother in laws steak. I had the mashed potatoes which were okay but no one at the table ate all of their stuffed baked potatoes. Moral of my visit is that the next time I’m in Auburn I’ll be going elsewhere.

My coworker and I came here for dinner couple of times. The salmon and parmesan chicken is great! The chocolate tower or whatever it is called is huge! I thought I was getting a little portion but I was wrong. You could defiantly share this with 4 or 5 people but I ate most of it myself. Lol I would go back just for the desert! They also have a a desert sampler which is the best idea ever if you love desert!

Yeah, I found food. I was a little nervous about eating here but my mom wanted to go so you do as mom says. I ordered the Strawberry Pecan salad without cheese, with a baked potato and steamed asparagus on the side. The salad came with feta on it so it went back. The rest were fine. It’s actually hard to order hit veggies that are not already pre drenched in butter. These were steamed and plain wicked worked out great. My salad came back and it was okay. Mr. G sent his back as well since it had bacon on it even though he specifically asked for no bacon. Sadly they picked it or or so they thought as he still find pieces at the bottom. Yes I know being a vegetarian at a beef steak house I did pretty good. It was more about the company than the place and it all worked out fine. I’d go back again.

I decided a steak was in order, so I went to this Longhorn which was across the street from my hotel. The hostess was friendly and seated me immediately. There were plenty of seats at 5:30 pm. My server came right away; she was friendly throughout, quick and never annoying. I ordered the Flo’s Filet 7 oz. w/green beans and garden salad with blue cheese dressing; red wine and water. Everything came quickly, was hot and good! No complaints!

Ok, I have to admit I am not a big steakhouse person, but this place is really suited for anyone. I got the chicken with stuffed portabella mushroom dish, they customized the cheese for me because I don’t like a lot of the softer cheeses. The portions were HUGE and they have very very excellent customer service. If something isn’t to your liking, they will replace it with another dish or a new one. The waitress was awesome, the staff smiled a lot and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Outside of a slightly over salted appetizer(which they offered to replace and I didn’t think they should since we’d already eaten half the darn thing before noticing the saltiness), the entire meal was perfect. All 4 of us had a really good time and really enjoyed our meals. One of my colleagues ordered a soup that it turned out she didn’t like, so they got her a different soup and she said the French Onion soup was divine! They also had the most scrumptious banana foster cheesecake that we all shared because it was too big for one person, especially with the substantial portions, and everyone loved it! Definitely will be going back!

Took a chance and ordered the baby-back ribs. They were edible but overcooked.
