Came here for the first time, and had an excellent experience! Their highchairs were brand new, clean(which is a plus when you have small children!) The phở broth was very flavorful, and not too salty. Spring rolls were delicious, and the peanut sauce was yummy! Rice plate was very good! Pork chop was cooked to perfection, shrimp was mouthwateringly good, and the egg was cooked to perfection! Bonus, was the little woman owner. So talkative, and just knows the right things to say/do to make you feel comfortable in her ‘home.’ :)

I have tried a lot of Vietnamese style food, Phở Dinh is up there with some of the best I ever had. My name is Chef Thomas Fitzpatrick and I am going to return to this gem of a restaurant.

Awesome broth on the phở and the size can’t be beat… Owner is a bit rude but I keep coming back for the phở.

This is the best phở I’ve had in a long time. The broth is very flavorful and the thai iced tea was amazing! The lady that works here is very friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely the place to try if you’re craving phở.

Super yummy & cheap! Best phở place in the Auburn area by far. My boyfriend and I ordered a grilled chicken banh mi, pork lumpia & chicken phở — all of which were really good. The banh mi(my favorite thing we ordered) was fluffy & filled with lots of pickled veggies. Our total bill was only $ 20-something dollars. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Great tasting phở. The broth is delicious. Nothing fancy décor. Egg rolls — greasy but good Pot stickers — good I had large vegetable phở — light in veggies but broth was very tasty!!! We were passing through and don’t live in the area but would stop in again. Customer service was excellent!

Last couple times i have been here i have noticed a couple of flys buzzing around. It is my third time I’ve been back and the third time I’ve seen flys. Flys and food and me don’t go well together. They should invest in a fly zapper maybe?

Best phô in the area and the staff is incredibly personable. I come once or twice a week and can always depend on getting a fantastic and cheap meal. A small(actually very large) bowl of phô is only 7.50 and a huge banh mi sandwich(which is amazing as well) is only 3.50. It’s the best Vietnamese you’ll find outside of Seattle.

Well well. We have been talking about coming back to this place since the first and only time we stopped in. About a year ago we were waiting for our cars to get an oil change at Nissan and walked down here to have some iced coffee. The very sweet owner offered us some mango pudding which my husband enjoyed. Considering that we were in the area again doing the same thing and Phở Trang Long could care less about our business(see my review) we ended up here. The place has about 10 tables and about 4 were occupied with steaming bowls of phở and the people slurping. We ordered the egg rolls and salad rolls to share. I had the fatty, rare, tendon and skirt steak phở. The rolls were ok with the egg rolls tasting better than the salad roll. The phở was just ok too. The broth wasn’t delicious nor were the meats but it was filling. The owner really makes this place. Without her, I just don’t see me coming back. She is very talkative and would like people to come in and have her food. Maybe some of the other dishes are better so I am on the fence about coming back.

The owner is always so upbeat and uplifting. Her personality is very likable by customers. The food is ok. We came here for 2 reasons: one time we came here to kill time as I had a cup of slow drip Vietnamese French Iced Coffee. That cup was good, even though I wasn’t a coffee drinker. The owner gave us some mango pudding smoothie and that was good! So that was the first reason. The other reason was because Phở Trang Long didn’t give a rats about their business by being slow and not serving us by letting us sit there for 5 minutes like it was a joke.(Refer to my Phở Trang Long review) So we shared egg rolls and spring rolls with fish sauce. The egg rolls were good, but it felt like it was missing something. The spring rolls tasted like mine, like homemade, gluey and all; they put way too many bean sprouts and not enough balance of flavor. We each had phở. I had a large bowl of phở tai nam and my wife had phở tai. Mines came out with fatty brisket? Interesting, I still ate it anyways. The broth was bland; good thing it did not taste like cinnamon, but it was bland. I added salt, hoisin and lime and it did not help it at all. The broth must have been thirsty and devoured all of the seasonings and sauces that I added to it. The noodles were cooked good. The meat other than not being correct, also had some rough slices and some were chewy. It was ok. I liked the basil though. My wife thought it was ok as well. I tried to tell the owner that they needed more seasoning, when she asked me how I enjoyed, but before that she already interrupted me with her upbeat self! No broken rice either for their rice dishes. A place I will not be coming back, unless, I only feel like the first time in coffee and mango dessert thing.

The food is ok but the servers are great. There’s tasteful art hanging up and a view of a tropical beach for those cold days. The Phò broth itself is mediocre though they do make up for it with how much meat they serve in the bowl. The woman was like the cute smiling pushy grandmother who tells you to eat lots of food. A plus is they serve some other Asian food like Korean(Kimchi) and Filipino(Lumpia).

The egg rolls are delicious here. They have good flavor and the sauce that comes with it is great too. The Phở gan is good. It’s pretty much like any other phở place flavor wise but they do not give you much chicken and they did not give me enough broth. my girlfriend didn’t know what to order so we grabbed a menu and sat down. After telling the waiter we didn’t need water(since we wouldn’t be eating in), she brought some anyway. Ordered some phở gan and some drinks and specifically said to go but then everything came on a tray. The lady was understanding and nice enough but then they strained out our noodles and put them in a box and combined all of our veggies in one bag. Our noodles were way too soft and sjnce everything was in one bag, I got hoisin sauce while my girlfriend got some lava hot sauce. Although the food was decent, Bad experience when I’m trying to introduce someone to phở for the first time. It could have been a better experience. There are tons of phở places around so there’s pressure to outshine the rest. I might be back but if I’m with my other half I’ll take her to a different place I’m familiar with.

I got Chicken Phở to-go, and it was YUMMY! Lots of white breast chicken, veggies, noodles and broth. All the items were packaged nicely. I think the plum and siracha sauce were mixed together in one little cup, but tasted good. I like to eat Phở with chopsticks, luckily had one at home because I didn’t get one in my to-go bag. Will ask for one next time. Owner was super nice! They are open till 8pm M-F, but take last order at 7:30pm. On Saturday they close at 6pm, and they are not open at all on Sunday. Definately will be back!
