I ate here during the week with my girlfriend, as soon as we walked in the door we were seated and given ice water and hot tea. Menu prices are cheap, food tastes great and the portions are nice. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere and is in very clean condition as it appears to be recently remodeled. I will defiantly come here again when I’m in Auburn and in the mood for some nice Phở.

There are time when a restaurant close up and you just are sad to see it go. Only to find that they restaurant has just done a complete remodel and is better than before. That’s what phở and viet sandwiches is. This use to be lele sandwiches before the owner decided to turn it from a hole in the wall to a actual dine in restaurant. There are now 8 full size table compare to the previous 4 small table. The tables are granite top and the seats are leather bench. The kind you find at booth but not as high back. They even have a L shape booth bench for large party. Overall a great remodel to a small space. It certainly feels much bigger than before. It looks more upscale than when it look like a high school hangout previously. The menu here is almost the same as before. They added more dishes, and more phở selection. They even have bo kho which is Vietnamese beef stew. I am looking forward to trying that on my next visit. 5 kinds of phở, 6 varieties of Vietnamese sandwiches, 4 varieties of fried rice, and a handful of other dishes. Overall not an tradition Asian menu with 100+ dishes, they only have 32 dishes on their menu. The customer service here has always been awesome, even when they were just a hole in the way catering to high school students. Now the new wait staffs are just as friendly and fast. I even got free water while waiting for me takeout. The food I had was kind of bland, but it was still good. First day of opening, so I’ll give them a little slack on that. Normally their food is flavorful. The owner was in when I stop off, and she mention that she was taking time off with a new baby on the way. Congratulation to her and for her still being able to remodel and reopen this place. It was the first day of their grand opening. It looks better, and I’m looking forward to trying out the rest of their menu.
