We live down the hill. So If we dont want to drive far for some sushi and want to pay $ 150 not including gratuity for a party of 5…(3 of them kids 9⁄4&2yrs old) then this is the place to be! $$$$ ! Lol

Not bad! Tried this place on a whim since we hadn’t eaten yet and were checking out Legendary Donuts next door. Came in and it happened to be happy hour AYCE for $ 17.95. SOCHEAP. The Aloha roll was hands down my favorite roll that I ordered.

Great sushi, best to go during Happy Hour, or it can get a bit expensive. Delicious food and unique menu!

Amazing! Went here for dinner last night, after the first bite of the fatty tuna nigiri, I knew I made a great choice for dinner. My new sushi restaurant!

Good sushi for sure! Average prices right around $ 12 per roll. Only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars was because the service was a little bad. Not the worst but also not he best. I will be going back here again.

Sushi is rather bland in taste, I have been twice now and gotten sick both times after eating here. Service is slow i would not recommend it for big groups.

So good. Every time I tell myself I am NOT going to do the lunch special, AYCE for 17.95, but it’s just such a darn good deal. You basically just need to order 2 more expensive rolls and it’s worth it. I’ve been there several times and have not been disappointed.

Konami never disappoints. Tonight they had a nice selection of Toro… Fatty tuna… It’s the real deal folks… Not available in many sushi restaurants. Fish quality is always top notch here… Make sure you ask for the off-menu specials as they are always getting the best, fresh, catch of the day.

We have eaten here since it opened. Good sushi and nice servers and chefs. Would give 4 stars– but, my family and I are disappointed because we used to get the 3 roll special — 2 hypnotic rolls and another delicious roll. A couple of months ago, the owner decided they will not allow that any longer so we have not been eating at this restaurant that often anymore :(I have asked the servers to share our disappointment with the owner. It still has not changed back.

High quality food, reasonably priced, and prompt friendly service. People who complain that it’s not the best sushi or that it’s not authenticate clearly forget that we’re not in Japan or the International District. We’re in Auburn. We’re lucky to have such great sushi here. Today was my first time here and I’ll be back soon.

We no longer have to drive so far to enjoy sushi! This is one out of our wish list for restaurants in our area. It is walking distance from our house! The food is good to satisfy some cravings. I usually order the seared salmon but depending on the chef on duty my salmon is seared from ok to good and vise-versa. There is definitely some inconsistencies. But not bad their tuna poke salad is worth a try!

We always enjoy great sushi here and their menu has a lot of choices. The service is even better and the sushi chefs always make sure you are satisfied with your sushi(we always sit at the bar). I would definitely recommend eating here and as a bonus they have gluten free soy sauce! We eat here often and even place to go orders sometimes.

Delicious. Great place to grab a quick lunch for a decent price. Paid $ 10 for 5 seared salmon nigiri and some edamame. The salmon was on point. They have a $ 17.95 all-you-can-eat deal, which we will have to try one of these days. I’m glad these guys are in Lakeland.

Food — if you’re not a sushi connoisseur this place is just fine. I’ve definitely had better. Their sushi was not terrible but not good. We got the 3 rolls for $ 25, gyoza and karragi. The server suggested we get the hypnotiq roll and was not fond of it. It was baked with mozzarella and didn’t think the flavors mixed well together. The karragi was prepared in a way I’ve never seen before. A lot of pieces were burnt too. Gyoza was slightly deep fried but tasted more steamed. From the looks of the bar, the same selection seemed slim. To sum the food… I’d say it’s overpriced for what you get. The food is very comparable to Sushi Land(which is way cheaper). Atmosphere — Very clean. A bar top to sit at and a few tables that sat 4 or more. This restaurant is small but does not seem crowded. There is plenty of space. Service — service was just fine. Seated, took orders in a timely manner and got our food within 15 minutes.(We were the only party present). Did not refill out waters. Received bill and change back fairly quick. Overall, I give this place 2 stars and would not recommend this place for good sushi.

Finally a sushi place in Lakeland! I tried it out with my sister the first time. We were seated right away, and ordered. I don’t remember the name but I ordered the tempura California roll then another with salmon. It took a little while for our rolls to get to us, but once they did they were delicious. Towards the end of the meal, one of our waters spilled all over the sushi and table and clothes. They waiter didn’t even come up to give us extra napkins or anything, as customer service should go. Neither did he offer to replace out soggy sushi. But oh well. The food was delicious, but if they want to do well with their business, they definitely need to improve their customer service. Overall 7⁄10 Food 10⁄10 Service 5⁄10

I tried this place three times total. 1st time: tried all-you-can eat lunch special. My husband and i was really excited to try many rolls and nigiri. however, the fish they serve here is not fresh… we did not finished most of the raw fish that we ordered. Totally regreted to try all-you-can eat. 2nd time: tried beef teriyaki. Wow. It was really taste. 3rd time: we decided to give another try for the raw fish here again… they serve not fresh, frozen fish here… Do not expect this place for the fresh sushi/sashimi.also tried 3 different rolls. notings wrong but nothings special.

Came in for all you can eat rolls and we were pleasantly pleased with the quality of sushi. Service was also good. It had a relaxing atmosphere and tasty sushi. We’ll definitely come back!

Always a pleasure to dine with Jay and crew! The sashimi is the freshest I have had, and that says a lot. I have been all over Washington, California and Tokyo. Their grade of sashimi is definitely class a grade.

{{Now available: all you can eat sushi during lunch 11 – 2:30 for only $ 17.95! Includes most rolls, nigiris, and appetizers! Best value in Sushi, ever.}} In Auburn, an adequate sushi bar did not exist until Sushi Konami made its appearance a few months ago. This place is tucked in and hidden away from the main road inside the Haggen supermarket complex in Lakeland Hills next to Legendary donuts and Verizon. Because it’s a new business, I made sure they have completed their adjustments and a baseline before commenting. Different menu items I consumed to date: Appetizers: Chicken Kara-age(Japanese style fried chicken nuggets) — there is a misconception regarding this mysterious food item on how it supposed to be cooked. Lightly marinated and coated in a thin coating of batter, the taste of the dark meat chicken is soft and tender. This is the real way Japanese traditionally eat their Chicken Kara-age, however, if you are used to a crispy coating, you’ll have to ask for that that option. It was recommended that they put that as an option in their menu as folks may be disappointed to learn it isn’t that darn crispy version they had envisioned. Shiso A-ge — half a dozen spicy tuna wrapped in minty Shiso leaves that is lightly battered and fried. This an interesting way of prep and I am not sure how to react to its uniqueness in flavor. I like it. Oyster volcano — oysters, paired with sautéed fish & vegetables are baked on an oyster shell. Flavors pop, not overcooked and without any heavy fish taste. Various rolls(maki) and handrolls: California roll, spicy tuna roll, unagi roll and spider roll. I have yet to experience any problems with their quality of rice, always firm, never soggy or too dry. The filling of vegetables are always fresh tasting along with the seafood that they put into each roll. One thing I do feel could be improved is the crunchiness of the tempura coating on the soft shell crabs. Bento boxes(imho, the best bang for the buck every time!): Sushi Bento: A california roll with an eight pack of nigri: namely shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, salmon, octopus and more — plus Konami Salad and miso soup. I have eaten this at least 4 times and every time I’m amazed at the value of what you get for your dollar. The quantity and variety of sushi offered are above average. Sashimi Bento: An assortment of sushimi included: Tuna, spicy tuna, red snapper, yellowtail, salmon, squid and seaweed salad, plus the Konami salad and miso soup. Another winner in my book, the fresh fish selection surprised me again when I thought the sushi bento couldn’t be beat. Nice option when I want less rice and more fish. Newly launched as of September 17 is their Happy Hour menu, a smart move to bring in business. Only $ 1.50 per nigiri on the menu! Lastly, the sushi chefs are super receptive to feedback and take those comments seriously. Finally, a healthier alternative to all that fast food ’round here.
