it went away. The store needed some loving, but it was okay.

This store is fantastic. The game selection is great, the employees really know their stuff, and they have 2 large game rooms that are always available to play whatever you want. Monday nights they keep the store open really late for game night. If you don’t know what a game is like, they will most likely open one up and show you!

These guys really seem to care about their customers. They always seem to have time to answer a question or to help you find a odd miniature. Plus on Friday nights they go waaay out of their way to ensure the Wargames group is able to have a good time. You won’t find a better place to wargame than here, plus club membership gives you 10% off.

This is the hobby shop that is closest to my house; Bonnie Brae Hobby Shop used to be the one closest to me before I graduated from DU and moved back home. There’s board games and table top RPG books here, as well as two rooms for groups to play in. Usually when I’m there I notice trading card games going on or games involving miniatures. Needless to say, with the assortment of books and games to browse through, I enjoy spending some time there!

I practically lived here(when I wasn’t in class, of course) for the better part of two years in high school. If you want a gaming store(and by that I mean«tabletop gaming,» not«video gaming»), this is the best place in Aurora, no question. Back when I frequented this place more often, there was more going on in the side rooms where you can meet with others and play pretty much anything you want. Now the side rooms seem to be rather vacant except when there are tournaments going on. Unfortunate, but I suppose that’s just the way things have changed. The staff here is usually nice and helpful — there were a couple people that had an attitude not all that different from the Simpson’s Comic Book Guy, but they don’t seem to be around anymore. Thankfully. The long-time staff(some have been there 10+ years) are all really nice, and they’re the ones you’re likely to deal with. Overall: the definitive gaming store for the ‘burbs. Well worth a trip.

This is a very good gaming store. There are two rooms to the left and right of the main store where games can be played. When I go, the rooms are generally half to all the way full. The store is well stocked and even has a few out of the ordinary games that you might not see in a smaller shop. I spoke to one of the store employees and he was very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction for a couple of books I was looking for. A nice thing is that you can save your receipts to the store to get a discount after a certain amount of gear is purchased(I think it’s $ 80 or $ 100, I forget). Another great thing is that if you’re gaming and make arrangements, they can lock the door into the main store and leave you and your group in one of the side game rooms. With a 7⁄11 next door, you can game all night if you want. Very cool.

A venerable institution in the metro area, Attactix is a well-stocked game store containing all sorts of board games, role-playing games and miniatures games. Definitely a serious game store.
