I just got into the world of Le Creuset, so I decided to go into the store that I passed by several times. I love cooking on the enamel cast iron and I am starting to replace all my old pans and pots. Le Creuset is also very expensive so the outlet is a great place to start. I am not a person who wants a matchy, match set so I am not that kind of Le Creuset shopper, I have colours I am attracted to and they actually fall I to the same vein soft neutrals and cool powdery blues… so if you are here for the newest and trendy styles this place is not for you. The item I purchased today was from 2010 and was stunning and I think was only sold at Bloomingdales when the colour was released. They might have some odds and ends and may not have all pieces of that particular colour collection. After they brought me the pan from the back they did let me inspect it out of the box to make sure it was not chipped and or damaged in any way-so you know what you are getting and if you are buying a first run product that you can check it out-I think they do have some second runs in the store that may be slightly damaged. The only thing I hated was 1 sales person in his attempt to try to socialize with me ended up insulting me instead and also the person who also rang me up pushed everything in the store at me before I even got to the cash wrap to pay for my item… did I want silicone scrapers, did I want a silicone handle guard and when we got to the cash wrap do you want our super non-breakable glassware, I know it is their job to sell me things but I do not want everything in the store especially items like the glasses that have nothing to do with my actual purchase. I’m already buying an over 200 $ pan I don’t need unbreakable glassware that is really ugly BTW. I felt like I was in a used car sales lot and was being sold all the special add ons and extended warranties. I did like the option where they will hold onto your purchase if you purchased it so you don’t have to drag it all over the outlet mall. Because let’s be honest cast iron is super duper heavy. Overall ok but I could do without all the pushy pushing extras.

I called on a week night, not thinking anyone would answer. Not only did they answer, but they did so twice! I later found out that the store was closed at the time of my call. I was so very surprised by their happiness to help a customer after hours. When I came to the store the next day I got equally great customer service. I was truly impressed. Should my budget allow more pieces I will go back in a heart beat.

Unless you must have the latest or the most exclusive colors, do not shop anywhere else for your Le Creuset. This store has a big selection of Le Creuset in many, many colors. Some are first quality. Some are seconds. Some are discontinued colors. All are great prices. And if you get there during a sale. Wow. We purchased a blue 7.25 quart round French oven for a price we couldn’t believe. We never thought we would have been able to afford one. Now I don’t know how we lived without it! We use it once or twice a week for making soups, stews, stocks, or roasting chicken. It’s fantastic for holding heat, cleans easily, is durable and beautiful. We experienced fine customer service at this store. We asked lots of questions and they were happy to help us. If I buy more Le Creuset, I will drive the 17 miles to Aurora to shop this outlet.

I like their products. I really do. They’re quality made, although the ones in France have better handles. They’re not made of plastic like the American ones. This review is more about their customer service. We walked in and the two employees were standing next to each other and talking. Not even a greeting or a slight pause in their conversation to give a head nod. Wow. How rude. I thought maybe it wasn’t anything major but two other families walked through and they got the cold shoulder as well. Jeez, and I thought the French had bad customer service.

4 ½ out of 5. Find product from this great brand from 20−35% off or more. The staff is quite helpful. The location is pretty small as it relates to space but layout is very friendly to the eyes. If having a particular color is what you want, you’ll find different color pots, pans and grills to fit your tastes. The nice thing is to have this pretty close to me or at least pretty easy to get to. The thing is not to go on a Saturday before say 5PM. The focus on their brand alone and if you’re in the area, you may want to pay this location a visit. They are located on the west wing of the mall. I didn’t say much, but I hope I’ve said enough. No «War and Peave» review here.
