Best blue jeans available on planet Earth. You should purchase the jeans made with a small bit of spandex(somewhere around 1%.) They are stretchy and form fitting, thus handsome and attractive. This location boasts excellent customer service. The store clerks will work with you to try alternative lengths and widths, as well as, alternative styles. Recommended if you want to buy a great looking pair of blue jeans.

Their non-pants items can be hit or miss. Designs lean towards industrial, like All Saints(wasn’t impressed by their quality either, at least for the prices they were charging), but less polished branding image plus some occasional oddball designs. Leather, distressed/aged, some western button-ups, moto jackets, etc. Some items would catch my eye, but then the fabric quality would end up disappointing me. For the price range that Diesel puts itself, I’m looking for an assurance that it’ll last for an x amount of time, and it still hasn’t persuaded me to give my consumer confidence. My last purchase was their Matic cut in 8B3 wash, which I love, but that was in ’09. I’ve also owned their Livy and Lowky before, but sold them long ago. Maybe I just outgrew Diesel.

I used to love the Diesel outlet. But what the heck happened? I have a chic gray jacket, a funky dress and a worshipped-by-others handbag from this store. The problem? I purchased these items 3 – 4 years ago. During my last few visits to the store, I’ve left without even trying anything on. The funkiness is a little too funky — the clothes look torn up, stretched out, as if diesel fuel has been spilled on them. Everything is in drab shades of brown, blue, gray and faded black. Yuck! I’ve never paid much attention to the jeans, since I’m not quite tiny enough to wear them, but I’m guessing the jeans are what keep people coming back. They have a ton of floor space and utilize very little of it. I have hopes that they will get better in time. Hopefully they won’t vanish and make space for something stupid like a calendar store.

I shop at Diesel for one thing only — shoes. I don’t think Diesel is ready for this jelly –I’m just a bit too bootylicious to fit in their jeans. I mean, if you have no hips and office ass(kinda flat) then you might stand a chance. For those of us with commuter booty(hey walking does wonders for your cheeks) then forget it. A lot of their gear is funky, but it’s that I’m-gonna-wear-this-once-kind of funky. Not worth dropping $$$ on. I can get that same sort of weird funkiness(technicolor bubble skirt) at Charlotte Russe, unfortunately — and for $ 50 cheaper. But back to the shoes!!! Diesel makes the best street-shoe-that-parades-as-work shoe. I have a couple of pairs of funky ballerina deals that work from morning until night. And to me, that is worth four stars.(Attendants were cute and funky as well.)
