This place is absolutely amazing! Can’t say enough about the great service we received from our server Donna! She helped my gf out in figuring out how to make her omelet perfect! And my Chicken Quesadilla was a taste bud smack of flavor! I recommend anyone to go and try their pomegranate mimosas and ask for Donna! Tell her Antoine sent you! Also the owner was such a pleasant guy to speak with. He showed us around to see all the stuff their place had to offer! Great service, excellent experience!

Lovely restaurant hidden behind Fox Valley Mall. Wonderful surprise! Great patio, outstanding service and appealing menu. Waffle fries a must! All 5 meals were very good.

I’ve been here a few times and tried some different skillets. I’ve also had their biscuits and gravy. I think the food is decent but there are definitely better options in the Naperville/Aurora area. He competition is to too stiff to just be ok. The service has always been good so that has to play in for something.

We had just landed in Chicago and were absolutely starving. Luckily Unilocal was recommending this place so we decided to check it out. The interior is really cute, a definite homey feeling with home cooked foods. We ordered the Irish skillet with pancakes and the eggs Benny corned beef with thick cut French toast. The portion size is also really big! Irish skillet, pancakes and eggs Benny were good, nothing too special but just a standard good. The French toast was not that great, what’s funny is that I had made French toast a day before we left and mine tasted a lot better(I had someone 2nd that). The waitress didn’t really seem to care about us too much, she wasn’t rude but she wasn’t friendly either. Just kind of gave us our stuff and left, never smiled at us or anything. When I asked for hot sauce she didn’t offer ones they had or which one they had and instead just grabbed one and put it on the table and left. Overall, food was good.

PARKING Medium sized parking lot and we had no problem finding a spot at all. INTERIOR/EXTERIOR Display glass of cakes available right in front and the bar to the right of walking in! There are tables outside if you choose to sit out on a nice day. There are many tables inside and it looked busy upon our arrival for brunch. MENU We were famished by the time we got to the restaurant. The party of three ordered a three piece Strawberry Crêpe, Hawaiian Omelette, and the order of two eggs that came with a small fruit bowl and pancakes. The omelette was easily my favorite with bacon and pineapples inside. Everything else was delicious as well, though I did not like how the strawberries on top of the crepes were warm. However, I really liked the whip cream that came on the side! SERVICE Our waitress was so sweet and nice! She made sure to get our order in as soon as possible because they were a little backed up and did not want us to wait. She brought us everything we needed and even made recommendations that would best suit what we were looking for!

Not bad place for breakfast or lunch. The service was okay. We had the pomegranate Benedict and western skillet. They were both pretty good. The baked goods is the reason for my 2 star review they were store brought I saw because the tags were ripped off the container. Not impressed. They do offer gluten free options and have a lot of other choices for breakfast and lunch.

We held a party for almost 50 guests and it was wonderful. The food was terrific; the service also terrific. The owners, Chris and his wife, went out of their way to make sure every detail was covered. We had a few vegetarians and gluten free guests and they were accommodated without any trouble. If you live in this area, I heartily suggest them for a party or even just a dinner for a few friends. We came in before the party to taste the food — Greek Chicken and Chicken Marsala. We went with the Greek Chicken since we knew that some would not like the mushrooms and/or sauce. I am planning to go back sometime this summer and have the Marsala.

Came in for Saturday brunch. The hostess was not very pleasant and our outdoor table was covered in syrup– we are not off to a good start. Thankfully, our waitress was attentive and much nicer than the hostess. And she cleaned the syrup off the table. I ordered the Tijuana skillet and it was very good! I would only ask for more veggies to balance out the meats and cheese. I was not able to substitute the toast for a fruit cup… Weird. I would’ve been fine paying an up charge, I’m just trying to make good choices! My husband ordered the steak and eggs and said it was«okay». He’s a man of many words.

Perfect place to brunch in Aurora! Drinks, outdoor seating, good food, what more could you ask for? The service was so friendly and the food was fantastic! I got the asparagus and mushroom skillet. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and there was so much cheese! My boyfriend had the Pomegranate Benedict and he loved it! Again, his eggs were cooked perfectly too. Our waitress Donna was awesome, and she is probably why I’m even writing this review in the first place. She was so friendly, personable, and what made her so great was that she basically anticipated our needs so we never really had to ask for anything. Definitely will go back if we’re ever in Aurora again!

Wow! You Unilocalers are correct. The French Onion soup is the best I have ever had. This is really saying something because I have had it hundreds perhaps even a thousand times over the years. Surprisingly the cheese is not the star here. There is gobs of it and it is broiled to perfection, but I think a lesser quality than Gouda or Gruyère such as Swiss or provolone is mixed in and I’m not sure Gouda or Gruyère are even present. Whatever is used the cheese works and the soup is still the best. For me the broth is the star in that it’s not too rich or salty and features a ton of caramelized onions. Another standout is the mac and cheese and it is one of the best I have ever had. The menu claims it is only available on Friday, but our waitress said they could probably do it any day of the week. The quiche is available every day and while not the best ever very good and recommended. A good selection of sides is available to complement the quiche or a sandwich such as fries, cole slaw, a cup of soup(which can be upgraded to a cup or even a bowl of the F.O.) or fruit. I’m not wild about the atmosphere. It’s family style laid out like a Denny’s or some such similar restaurant. Ok it is nicer than Denny’s(God I’m SO embarrassed to admit I ever stepped foot in one), but that is still not saying much. If you have any interest whatsoever in French Onion please come here for the experience.

We’re fans. 5 stars is a great compliment from me on breakfast. The food was great, portions were huge, the prices were on point, and the service was perfect. We shall return.

Thus used to be my favorite near by stop for breakfast, not so much anymore. We had to wait about 20 mins to be sat which is honestly fine with me I don’t mind waiting on a Saturday morning, it’s to be expected. However once we got sat, it was obvious the table was still very dirty. That’s unfortunate… I didn’t come to bus my own table. There was a bunch of empty creamers, and empty sugar packets, and left over half empty table syrup and the tip still on the table and the table clearly hadn’t been wiped down. But weirdly bout there were full ice waters on the table… At this point we could only assume it was left from the table before us and not actually new waters lol needless to say, we didn’t take our chances with the gamble waters. Our waitress comes, grabs the trash we have collected for her at the end of our table and grabs her tip and asks for our drink orders, like a solid 5 mins later I get mine but my boyfriend didn’t get his, she passes us about 8 times when we realize she clearly forgot there’s a second person at this table that ordered a drink. So when she finally came to take our order he tries again to get his drink, she says sure and apologized. But still nothing lol our food comes out now, 30 mins later and he’s like yea, can I get that milk yet? And she said sorry and ran back to get it. Now to the food, I ordered the biscuit and gravy skillet with over medium eggs and he got the crows eggs Benedict(made with corned beef hash) and we got a side«cup» of fruit and a side of bacon.(more like a tiny little ¼ of a cup of fruit or 3 bucks! And bacon side, a whopping 4.25, for 3 slices of bacon, come on) mine was just«okay» I didn’t eat the potato part, they were realllly cold, the only thing hot on my plate was just barely the gravy, everything was like room temperature though, and my eggs were definitely over easy not over medium which sucked. His, one of his poached eggs was already broken and it was all pretty sloppy, it takes 3 minutes to poach an egg, do it right, and sure as hell don’t leave a broken one on a plate, I would if refired that in my kitchen, no question asked. All in all id say it was a pretty disappointing visit, could of been an «off day» but how many people really buy that excuse? Do it right or do it again. I know this isn’t the city and maybe I have city standards, but I’m just holding them up to their last performance when I visited, they were fantastic before, they should be even better now. Your only as good as your last plate. I doubt I’ll be returning, there’s other options for us to explore

We drove almost 20 minutes to come to this restaurant because of the high ranking. It was a large restaurant and they have an extensive menu. I ordered«The French Orchard,» 3 pieces of cinnamon spiral bread dipped in french toast batter with toppings. My wife ordered the California Omelette. The French Orchard was a lot smaller than I expected and was pretty plain. I was expecting a lot more flavor, sweetness, or something to excite me and it was pretty boring. I ended up eating quite a bit of my wife’s omelette. My wife was underwhelmed by the omelette as well but I thought it tasted pretty good. The service was fine and food came out quick. There seemed to be a few regulars there that loved the place and were interacting with the staff. I was very torn on a 2 or 3 star review for this restaurant. We won’t return because there are numerous other breakfast places around that taste a lot better and I am surprised to see the great reviews on this place. It wasn’t awful but there are better options out there.

Very good food. Service was outstanding. I ate breakfast. Large menu with choices that will satisfy everyone. I asked about an item and they brought me a sample. Family run and it shows in the quality and the service.

This is my new favorite family restaurant. I can’t believe that it took me this long to stumble upon it, however I’m making up for it now. I’ve been here 5 times in the past 2 weeks. Their many variations of Eggs Benedict are eggseptional(sorry, I couldn’t help myself), and they make all kinds of pancakes, crepes and waffles. I asked if they offered Dutch Baby oven baked pancakes and, like almost every restaurant, they do not. A few minutes later our server brought us one saying their cook wanted us to try one that he made for us anyway. It was wonderful. They really do go all out to please their customers. If I had to come up with one complaint it would be that their portions are so large. Try as hard as I can, I cannot finish the whole meal; I’m forced to take some home for snacking later. Yay! I’m looking forward to dropping in for dinner soon(they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner) to try their prime rib. One of their servers told us their prime rib is the best in the area and I have come to totally trust my new friends at Pomegranate.

As good as breakfast is here, their lunch definitely competes! And I haven’t had a French onion soup as good as this since… I don’t know when. All that perfectly bruleed cheese melted down over a bowl of rich, heady broth and caramelized onions… hnnghh. As ever, service is very earnest and friendly. This is one of those places I can just come back to over and over. Check it out the next time you’re in the Fox Valley area, for any meal!

For me, Pomegranate was just okay. While the menu is extensive and has all my breakfast favorites, I thought the food and service were just average. I live nearby, so my husband and I came here for breakfast one morning to «celebrate» national pancake day. I think it’s safe to say I’m always looking for a reason to celebrate! With that being said, I ordered the 3 chocolate chip pancakes($ 6.75), a side order of sausage links, and coffee. The pancakes were beautiful and it was a huge order. You have the option to get 5, but I’d say the smaller order of 3 is more than enough. I took about half of that home. The chocolate chips were plentiful, but to me the cakes were just too dry. I ended up having to dowse them in syrup which was extra sugar I did not need to ingest. Coffee was good and refilled I believe once. The sausage links were not my favorite. I can’t quite pin point it but they almost tasted like chicken sausage. Our waitress was really sweet, but it took her forever to come around for our order and then another long while for us to get our food. The kicker was that they weren’t busy at all. I was just a little disappointed all around with our experience since I read such fabulous reviews. Pomegranate offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so I’ll have to stop by to give their extensive menu another try since I live right in the neighborhood.

I was very pleased with my breakfast here. The food was very good. My husband and I got there about 15 minutes after opening on a Saturday morning(we’re early risers). I love having breakfast out, but we haven’t had a whole lot of luck finding places in Naperville and the surrounding towns that we want to go back to a second time. We split the biscuits and gravy skillet with a side of pancakes. They split it up for us without being asked and it was definitely enough food for two people. I was actually kind of shocked about how much food was on the plates after splitting it. I wasn’t a huge fan of my pancake — it was kind of gummy in texture, but I am a pancake snob. The sausage gravy, though, was fantastic — very flavorful. The coffee was also decent and it’s one of those places that gives you a little pot for your table so you don’t need to get a refill from the server. My only complaint was that the waitress was not the best ever. She wasn’t very attentive and we ended up waiting a while for our check. I’ll reiterate that we were the first people there, so it should have been a little bit better than that. But still, it was a good experience and we’ll be back.

I’ve been to Pomegranate Café twice now, once for breakfast and once for lunch and both times the food absolutely blew me away. I had a large, delicious, perfectly cooked omelet for breakfast. The ham and cheese were the perfect ratio to the light and fluffy eggs, the sides were nicely sized, and I had to leave some on my plate because I was so full. I am not a small man and leaving food on my plate for any meal is very, very rare. For lunch I enjoyed the fried fish sandwich with some clam chowder. I’m always looking for delicious fried fish and this was a really good sandwich. The bun was toasted perfectly, the fish cooked really nicely, and the tartar sauce was exactly what tartar sauce should be.(You’d be surprised how many places try to be fancy with their tartar sauce and screw it up.) Service was great too and I’ll definitely be going back. I chatted with the owner for just a bit before I left the second time and told him how much I enjoyed the food and the restaurant itself. He was friendly, funny, and generally genial. I will definitely be coming back to Pomegranate Restaurant and bringing friends. I definitely look forward to trying dinner some time!

This place is fantastic for a delicious and quick breakfast. They have a lot of menu options, both sweet and savory so you’re sure to find something! I went with sweet and got the French Connection without walnuts. The French toast was perfectly cooked with a nice crust on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. The apples were fresh and tasty and the caramel sauce was perfect — no need for syrup on this dish! My husband and our guest went with savory dishes: a chorizo omelette which was HUGE and the Mexican skillet(equally gigantic). Oh my goodness, I tried both and they were incredibly tasty! I think my favorite dish of the meal was the Mexican skillet. The eggs over easy were perfectly cooked and mixed in so well with the rest of the dish to make it creamy. Also, the hash browns that came with the omelette were warm with a delightfully crispy outside. As for the service, it was incredibly quick, but almost too quick as if we were being rushed out. It wasn’t busy, so I don’t know why they would want to turn the tables so fast. Our water glasses were always full so I can say they were attentive. For a great breakfast at a great price, I would highly recommend Pomegranate… just don’t plan on spending too long there!
