Ok, this could be drunkenly biased and for that I am sorry. It seems like every time I am downtown watching my friends play music, I always wind up getting pretty sloshed and then experience the drunchies. As someone who is REALLY lactose intolerant, all that pizza on 6th street(and I use the term pizza loosely) is off limits. So I discovered Bad Ass, and one fajita is just enough to quell the hunger without making me queasy– and it’s yummy!

Pretty darn good drunk food. Well, actually we were not drunk but I still have to say pretty darn good. Was glad to have stopped at this food stand. Thumbs up!

The name of the place is «Bad Ass Fajitas» and they are just that… BAD. It’s probably my least favorite food stand on all of 6th Street. I don’t usually get the«fajitas» any more because I made that mistake once before. IF I am down that far on Sixth Street and I am STARVING I might make the mistake of getting a Gyro here. Which is equally bad. They use tortillas vice pita bread, so right away I don’t like the place. Second, they heat up the tortilla to the point where it is just a dry, crappy, flaky mess and falls apart. The produce is fairly fresh, the Tzatziki sauce is decent and the meat is alright but it’s a very below average Gyro overall. Worst part about it is that the place is nasty and dirty. Stopped by there last night and the cook was counting money for a bum on the food prep surface, then when I ordered he quickly squirted some Germ-X on his hands, but he doesn’t where gloves, and he hangs out with bums. NASTY. Oh and I forgot to mention that he absolutely stunk of B.O. Overall, avoid this place and go to Barbecuties or Bestwurst, it’s better food anyway.
