Bob was a great personable guy. unfortunately the haircut was awful. I had to go to multiple barbers in order to fix what he thought I was wanting. Once he saw other patrons needing a cut he dropped the ball and ended my haircut quickly. Unfortunately I will not return and would not recommend this establishment.

The best, the greatest barbers in Central Texas! Brandon Montgomery cuts my dad’s hair. My dad looks forward to going because they always treat him like he is the most important person in their life! They know their customers & they know when they have not been in. The Montgomery family is a wonderful Christian family & Brandon & his dad: Curtis (the owner) are true blue honest to goodness men!

Very friendly barbers. Nice, clean, well-​lit store with an old-​school feel. The guys wear uniform shirts. Excellent hair cut at a good price ($ 14). I highly recommend it.

I had been a customer of Pete’s Flattop Shop for over 20 years same barber. Was very sad when Pete’s closed due to his health. Never once was I offended by the talk in the shop. Was pretty upbeat kinda of place servicing my needs. Well Pete’s closed and I followed my barber to Bob’s Barber shop. My barber is a wonderful man and human being. However I cannot begin to describe what BIGOTS these other barbers are. One day they were slamming Gays: esbians, next time abortion. Well I am Gay and offended by the conversations between customers and Curtis. I have made the decision to leave my barber after so many years. I just cannot justify me spending MY GAY MONEY at a business that does not like my type. Keep up the conversations that are so warped minded, your going to lose a lot more business. I will be taking my partner with me. So that’s two GOOD customers that won’t be back.

If you’re looking for a quality barbershop with friendly, old-​fashioned barbers and reasonably priced cuts, this is your place. It took a few tries to find the specific barber here who could cut my hair just right, but I’ve been satisfied ever since. They are walk-​in only, but the wait has never been long.

Classic old barber shop. I went for a standard men’s haircut and it was excellent, and the price ($ 14) was far better than most other barbershops around town. Very friendly staff. Will be back.

Just went to Bob’s Barber today. Phillip from Pete’s Flat Top is now working there.
Phillip has been cutting my hair for almost 20 years. Phillips hours are Tuesday through Friday 9am — 5pm and Saturday 8am-​12pm. The other Barber’s Curtis and Brandon (Father and Son) are real down to earth folks. Go by and pay them a visit.

I got my hair cut by Curtis for years, while I still worked for the City of Austin. I moved away and couldn’t come in anymore. I live in Leander, now so I will be coming back to Curtis.

Have been getting my hair cut here since 1972 and have zero complaints. Reasonable prices all these years with great people who have become wonderful friends too.
