Decent market for buying an a sundry of otems, but nothing to write home about. Just an upscale on price and selection c store. In the description it mentions«bakery». They sell some baked goods but I would not call it a bakery. Barton Creek is pretty far from shopping so this is a good place to go in a pinch for deli meats, the bottle of wine you may have forgotten to pick up, or a bottle of air freshener for your car. The outside space for hanging out with your drink or snack is nice. The only drawback is this is obviously located in an «entitled» community where people feel they don’t have to pick up their own trash.

The convenience store’s markups make 7 – 11 look cheap by comparison, and it offers an underwhelming level of variety. Counter help is not overtly rude but less than enthusiastic and courteous. Breakfast tacos doable when hungry but bland and unmemorable, tastes as if mass produced with little care or soul.

What a great concept in the heart of Barton creek. A true healthy fare. The smoothies are awesome and definitely worth trying. They are coming back with excellent service and healthy options. Keep it going.

Café Fresh is actually a counter area within Market at Barton Creek for which I’m putting up a separate business listing. Most of the current reviews are for the market overall including Café Fresh(smoothies and wraps), an unnamed grill/sandwich deli counter, and shelves and refrigerated areas with an excellent selection of interesting food and staples. To quote my other review: Tofurkey pizza in the freezer section, check. Two-pound box of Kosher salt, check. Made-on-premises healthy wraps and smoothies, check. Burgers and sandwiches made to order, check. Wine cave with extensive selection, check and check. Market at Barton Creek is way better than a small convenience store has any right to be, even in this upscale neighborhood. I am fortunate to have discovered it while visiting my mother at the Querencia retirement living facility next door. You’ll find all the staples you need here and lots of creatively stocked things you don’t need, but should. A real gem for people who live or work in the area.

This is my breakfast addiction — fresh made breakfast taco and fresh squeezed OJ. The sandwiches are great too! I’ve treated myself to a mushroom Swiss burger from the grill and was not disappointed either. It’s nice to have a place to grab breakfast, lunch, chicken/steak for dinner, sandwich meats, milk and other things we forget to pick up at the crowded grocery store.

This was a Mom recommendation. And did not disappoint. Stopped in for lunch and went straight to the back to the grill. The menu is straight forward. burgers, made from your choice of cow or chicken, some Giros, and pizza fare. Do not dismiss as the kind of quality food you’d find at a 7−11…this place is top notch and better than the likes of Mighty Fine IMO. Cheeseburger and the Hamburger are the same price.4.99 which also comes with a bag of Zaps chips. The burgers are BIG a solid ¼ lb. at least and it’s fresh ground for you. There’s a small sitting area outside and in the shop. Burger was made to order and came out fast. Veggies were way fresh. As flavorful as veggies from P. Terry’s and maybe more fresh than that. After devouring my 5 dollar wonder burger… I sauntered through the store part of the joint. Prices were fair, and the butch shop had nice looking steaks for comparable prices to HEB… but looked way better. Huge beer selection as well. Places like this give me hope about having to maybe live in the ‘burbs one day when I have kids. Friendly staff, great goods, and good prices.

this place is great, they have freshly cut wheatgrass which gives you 2.5 pounds of veggies for every ounce u consume. its soo good. this shop is right next to st. michaels high school inside a organic market that has alittle bit of everything. even wine tastins on fridays and saturdays. fresh smoothies, sqeezes, coffee, and great food. u should stop by sometime and see it all. its worth it…

I live in the area and was excited to see them come in. Fresh squeezed juice and wheat grass, low calorie smoothies and salads, sandwiches and wraps. My husband has loved the turkey and chicken wraps and he’s picky. I have had the smoothies so far which are great. I hope they do well and stay because I love having them so close to home.

Considering there isn’t a restaurant within 5 miles of my office, I am THRILLED that this place opened. Sporting sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads in addition to fresh squeezed juices and smoothies, I will be frequenting this café. I ordered the turkey, bacon, advocado wrap and it was delicious.(Actually the first wrap I’ve ever had in my entire life, shocking i know but I am now hooked.) We also decided to use them for our fire department volunteer meeting. They were very helpful and their prices were really affordable on sandwich trays. Surprisingly cheaper than Subway and Jimmy John’s where we were previously getting our sandwiches. If you live or work in the area you can appreciate the proximity and my ridiculous excitement to finally not have to waste 20 minutes driving on my lunch break.
