Man! These guys came into Austin like a Tornado. They completely tore down the Tetcco/Chevron store, gas pumps and even ripped up the lot and yanked out the gas tanks. I guess they had a soft spot for the automated car wash because it remains. I enjoyed watching this store go up. The old Tetco was awkwardly positioned in the lot and only had a couple pumps. They built this 5000sq ft shining diamond to the back of the property which allowed them to put in 16 pumps on 8 islands! Yessir! 16 cars can fill up at one time! How cool is that? I went in here today and was really impressed with the layout and the super friendly dude working the register. Everything is so bright and shiny and clean. Even the men’s room!!! I know, they just opened, but still. You’ll find your typical C-store merchandise in here with a few extras. All neatly displayed in a doable fashion that allows for customer flow. What does that mean? Well, take the wiener’s on the rollers. It is a stand alone island centrally positioned with dogs in the front and taquito’s and other round thingy’s in the back. You can walk all around the island dressing your food without getting in people’s way. The coffee bar is up against the wall by the pop. There is a island in front of the coffee with all the syrups, creamers, etc. And yes they have donuts, pre-packaged sandwiches, hot sandwiches(grab and go by the register) etc. Two things I want to really point out is they have a pretty good jerky section-YAY! Love me some jerky! Now one thing that really stood out to me was this machine called«Blending Bar» located by the Freezy machine. The blending bar makes milkshakes, smoothies and frozen coffees! I have never seen a machine like this! This store is all things cool and reasonably priced! Welcome to Austin CEFCO!
