Darque Tan

I don’t tan, but I have gone with a friend 2 times before. The customer service is always beyond awesome. Both times I’ve been, there was the same beautiful smiling face at the desk, and she is so helpful. She also informed me that they have $ 10 tanning packages that would help me with my eczema (Level 1), so I may become a customer very soon thanks to her!

Darque Tan has finally redeemed itself in my opinion thanks to this location! Of course all of the locations are known for their ‘luxury’ appeal and suburb cleanliness — and this location certainly doesn’t disappoint.
I was fortunate enough to ‘catch’ the manager one evening working at the desk and she was AWESOME. She took the time to not only show me all of the beds — but gave me a little education on tanning as well (which was a pleasant surprise). Make no mistake, I am quite familiar with tanning and I know I’m a ‘picky’ customer — so I really appreciate her taking the time to go over all of their different packages and specials they have currently going on.
Oh and I also must add that I had come in once before prior to that visit and spoke to another staff member about shopping around where to get a membership since I just moved to Austin. She was also great about explaining the various specials and packages they offer in a *professional manner* without ‘bad mouthing’ other salons like I’ve seen happen before. Two thumbs up from me, Darque Tan! Hopefully I’ll be able to drop by soon when I can afford some lotion!

Went in for a quick single session tan and because I was new to this particular company, they had a set amount of time that I was able to tan for and not one minute longer. Not knowing this policy, I put all my clothes back on, went up front to let them know it cut off and all I got in return was, «oh, she must have forgot to tell you».
This is fine, however I wish they would have told me that from the-​get-​go so I wouldn’t have wasted my time or money.
I also don’t understand why they don’t automatically provide eye protection. I understand if you want to charge $ 5.00 for a pair of plastic goggles, but at least put the eye stickers you offer on the bed. For this, I Again had to re-​dress and go up to the front to get something for my eyes.
On a positive note, the facility was pretty clean.
All in all I think there are better tanning places out there, I think I’ll stick to giving my business to Tan ETC.

I travel a lot and decided to stop in and get my tan on. Super clean place and the usually slower service (its always 7 customers vs one employee) was super fast. Bonne was awesome and actually talked to me about options and functions of different lotions. Not your usual spot and they were upbeat even 5 minutes before close.

Ive been going to this location for 1.5 years now and I love it! The staff is great! Knowledgable, friendly and helpful! The different levels of beds are great and the bulbs are kept up! The mystic spray tan turns out great for a quick bronze glow! Clean, friendly, affordable!
