I love this Sports bar & grill! Probably one of my favorite spots in all of Austin. Affordable with quality beer & food. Definitely deserves more than a 3 star ranking. Only thing bad if any are parking(sometimes) & they close at 11pm? Yup that’s all folks!

Gross. We live nearby and have eaten here several times and leave disappointed every time. The beer list and tvs are the only reason we return at this point. Service is poor and the food is horrid.

One of the best places to watch a game in Austin. Tons of TVs and the beer selection is great(hence Draft Pick). Food is the quality of most sports bars but the wings are amazing! Get there early if UT is playing as it will fill up fast.

Sa Tati was not only good looking AF, she was also one on most attentive servers that I’ve had in a long time. There’s nothing better than having good service but a good attitude in a good atmosphere. Good friends, good fun, and ask for hotti Tati.

Can’t beat their happy hour. Their wings aren’t bad, but they’re not great. Not spicy, not amazing, but not bad either. I guess If they added a little heat to them, I’d like them a lot more. My Girlfriend, who is a tenderfoot to spicy food, thought they needed a little more heat, or at least more flavor. The staff and atmosphere were great. The cheese fries were definitely below average(nacho cheese), and the jalapeño poppers were good, but great for their price-point($ 3 each). I think if they added a little cayenne pepper, honey, and or brown sugar to the batter to the wing batter, they would have some banging wings. We’re not in Oklahoma… bring on some flavor! Especially if you’re only going to have one flavor of wings! Some basic improvements would earn this place at least two more stars in my review, but I think I’ll go elsewhere until it picks up. Tommy wants wingy has the best wings around… if they served their wings, they’d know me by name.

Oh man, I really want to like this place. The Micheladas are awesome and the chips and queso are great. However, the customer service is SERIOUSLY lacking. My group comes to trivia on Wednesdays frequently. We have been going to trivia off and on for about 2 years. Sometimes we take a couple months off but always come back weekly after a while for months and months. We build up winning appetizers and gift cards to eventually throw a «We are Awesome» party with our winnings. We collected $ 110 in gift cards and 6 free appetizers and were all ready to spend our winnings! We came on a Sunday to have a GREAT time. However, when we got there, it all went to shit. We showed our server, Miguel, our gift cards and he told us that some of them were old and since it was new management, they wouldn’t take them. What??? It’s the same restaurant and the same trivia every week. When a new management takes over, they take on the old debts. Especially since they have continued the same trivia every week! My boyfriend talked to the owner who was adamant about not accepting most of our gift cards. Out of $ 110 we won, they would only take $ 40! However, the owner told us that if we went a bit over, he would«take care of us». At the end of our session, we went about $ 25 over and the owner did absolutely NOTHING! Didn’t even knock $ 5 bucks off our bill to show us any good faith! I understand that you might lose a little money but when you have a group of 6 coming every Wednesday spending more money than we win, you should at least do something! It left a super bad taste in our mouth and we won’t ever be back. There are other establishments in Austin who will do the right thing for customer service. Miguel is the only great thing about our experience there. We would request him to be our waiter every time we went because he is an awesome server! He is prompt with drinks and food and is a really great guy! Miguel~ if you ever leave Draft Pick, let us know where you go! We will totally start going there.

Although Draft Pick has flavorful wings, the new management lacks taste when it comes to honesty(see what I did there?) My trivia group has been going there for trivia Wednesday’s for 2 years— 2 years!, winning gift cards here and there. So when we finally go to cash in the year’s cards for our trivia year end wrap, we were told half of them are no longer valid since they changed management. You would think that since we’re such frequent customers that even the staff knows, the manager would honor their cards, right? Nope! The manager told me that he’d look at that tab and if we spent enough he’d shave money off. So we spent $ 25 over the $ 40 in cards he would accept and he decided it wasn’t enough. Off to Pluckers trivia it is!

Was my boyfriend’s turn to pick for Sunday football watching and he’d heard the brunch here was good. So off we go. It’s a good space, the TVs are easy to see. The brunch menus is tiny(like 5 items); we both opted for the Hangover Burger(a hamburger with an egg on it). The service was terrible and the food was ok. The Buffalo chips were just different shaped french fries, absolutely no seasoning. The hamburger was kind of sad– think and saggy, although it was good. They cook them all the same I guess as we were asked what degree of done-ness we wanted. I will say the mimosas are $ 1 and very good, which would have gone a long way with me, had we ever seen our waiter to order more. So, won’t go back there, but the Saints won, which may have contributed to a 2-star review instead of just one. I’m feeling generous.

Good setting with lots of screens everywhere so you can look at your table mates and look over their shoulder to see the game. However, their«largest HD screen in Austin» was muddled and blurry and each player had a white drop shadow around them giving them ghostlike look(and Halloween was still a week away!) Great responsive service. Great beer selection with many on tap. Absolutely uninteresting food. Nachos showed up in a Cereal bowl? This is Texas, Nachos are supposed to come in slabs, and usually have cheese on them. My Blackened Cajun burger was naked as a jaybird, no cajun affect at all and it came on a typical rainbow bread bun that was 30% bigger than the burger. I can get that kind of quality at home! Pizza crust was soggy.

Came here with coworkers for brunch with $ 1 mimosas… of course the drinks are relatively weak but all good with the nice selection of music and food!

We went on a Sunday. They have tons of TVs, which is nice. The hostess that greeted us was nice and helpful in showing us the best options to sit and watch the game we wanted to see. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our initial order, another 10 to get our beer. We ordered food in the early second quarter. We got our food at the end of the third. Never got asked if we wanted another drink and had to seek out our server. Food was just ok.

If only you could give negative stars. If spending my energy writing just how bad this place was was worth it I would, but not getting food for almost 3 hours then having it been wrong… nothing much I need to write. Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Oh, and they charged us for 5 drinks for the table next to us.

The food and drink menu is fantastic. However, we went to watch a USA Mexico soccer game along with the 15 – 20 other people in the restaurant and had a horrible experience with a manager who would not accommodate the sound and tvs. She refused to turn off a baseball game on the big screen with the sound(that was not even a Texas team playing in) so that almost the entire restaurant could hear the game we came to watch. We were all stuck watching on two of their smallest screens in the whole place with no sound. She was also extremely rude about it. As a first timer at this restaurant this is not the way I was hoping to be treated. On a positive note our server was fantastic. He was very friendly and helpful. I am pretty sure he was the only server in the whole restaurant but seemed to handle it with ease. The service did slow down some when it started to get more busy but he was still very attentive. Not sure I will be coming back here if I know that such a rude and unaccommodating person is running it. I definitely recommend the food and drinks but not the management and accommodation.

I counted 26 television screens all showing games… on a Tuesday. Very typical sports bar but good at what it does. 30 taps, full liquor selection, and all-american menu of heart stopping awesomeness. The chicken wings are charred and you pick the side dip. Pros: Blue collar heaven. Chicken wings and beer. Cons: The servers are usually understaffed, so they try hard but may have 10 tables at a time and one bartender for 15 stools. Sausagefest. Great to watch the game. Total dude pub.

I’m a beer girl. I have three hours to kill in Austin. And there happens to be a bar called DRAFT pick nearby! There is a HUGE selection of beer on tap! Love it!!! Asked the bartender which of their selection of hefeweizens he’d recommend. He suggested the NOLABEL. I loved it — that was good and would recommend it to all hef drinkers.(NOTE: It is seasonal, so if that’s your thing, don’t pass up the opportunity to try it when available!) Ordered their wings and their bruschetta. Both orders came out of the kitchen in less than 10 minutes. The wings had the perfect combination of flavor with a hint of smoke. The bruschetta was put together much different than what I’m used to, but still great. So glad it’s so close to the airport. Will definitely return next time I come in to town!

To start, the server was not attentive and had a bad attitude when asked for anything. We bought a lot so it should of meant more $$ for him but he wasn’t having it – maybe it was an off day. Most importantly, ordered some chicken nachos($ 10), and let’s just say there was maybe 3oz of chicken and absolutely NO cheese. Do not get the nachos, they were awful; I pretty much are beans, jalapeños and iceberg lettuce. I know it’s «bar food» but I’ve had much better; plus this is Austin, «foodie central». Don’t think I’ll go back for food, ever.

Decided to come here since it was hot & close by to the lake boardwalk. Took over 20 minutes to receive my food when there was only a handful of people there, so then I expected my food to be great. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich & was decent regarding the chicken. For a meal, I expected more fries but only received a little scattered on the plate. Rated 2 stars for the decent chicken burger, but service is slow, I can’t imagine how long it would take when they are busy. Overall, about $ 9 for the burger.

We had very friendly service, helpful suggestions, and good bar food. Menu has tons of options from lasagna and salads to burgers and fries. Burgers were huge(and yummy) and their beer flights were a great way to try numerous options. Good for groups or individuals, place was large. Not good if you’re in a hurry. At lunch the place seemed very understaffed and service was slow.

We came here one night for Trivia. The ambiance is very chill and they have a good layout for trivia. There are tons of TV’s here so it would definitely be a great place to watch sports! The drinks and food here were a bit pricey during non-happy hour time but they had some decent specials available. They also have HH from 4−7PM and 9−11PM! I just had a few seasonal beers, but their Mexican martinis were on special for $ 5. The service here was ok, given that it was a trivia night, but we felt like the waitress had forgotten us a few times. I definitely would like to try this place out — especially during their happy hour so I can give a more well-rounded review. Give it a try!
