I got up late today but I had already decided last night that I was going to try the new donut place. Lucky for me it is very close to the entrance for my subdivision. Even though I got there about 11 am, everything was fresh. The lady behind the counter was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She told me that they’ve been open just over 4 months and it’s a family business(the best kind IMHO). For about $ 5, I got the ham & cheese croissant, a chocolate frosted donut with sprinkles and an éclair. You can see them in my pictures. Summary: Good fresh food, great service, clean and bright environment. They do need some pictures on the walls. I suggested this to them during my visit. SUPPORTAUSTINSMALLBUSINESSES! You should try this place, they need and deserve your business to stay in business and since I plan on making this my Saturday morning thing, I want them to stay around. Yay! I’m so excited that we have a donut shop in our neighborhood. I went to try it for breakfast and was happy that they have croissants and will make breakfast sandwiches for you. I got a plain croissant for my daughter, glazed donut, chocolate frosted one, and blueberry. Let me tell you, it’s great! The texture is like a Shipley donut but BETTER! so glad that they open up so close by :)
