Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Great place right next door to a hotel. You can see the flashing light from the window. You can’t buy just one.

Krispy Kreme is essentially the most mass produced trash donut you will ever encounter. They have them everywhere from gas stations to grocery stores. I’ll eat them occasionally but its not something I every seek out.
I will say that considering how many donuts they actually make at this location its very surprising that they always do seem sort of fresh. I don’t think I’ve ever bought a stale donut from this location and I’ll give them some credit for that.
I took it upon myself to try the Kolaches here recently because its on the way to work and I was in a hurry and needed breakfast. They were super grosss! I feel like they attempted to make up for having crap ingredients by adding extra cheese. the problem was that the extra cheese they added was just weird. I’m not sure what type of cheese it was even but it was super tasteless and stringy. Not what I would have expecting in a Kolache.
The only thing saving these guys from a one star review is the fact that the employees at this location are always amazing and nice! I cant say enough good things about the folks that work here as they always seem to be the most friendly people and are willing to do anything to make you happy with your order!
So in closing that’s two stars for the people who work at this Krispy Kreme location and no stars for the actual food.

Waited in line for 15 minutes before I finally decided to leave. Sad thing is there was only 1 person in front of me when I got in line. No one should have to wait greater than 15 minutes to get 1 donut on their birthday!

We decided to go with Krispy Kreme for our wedding «cake». Neither my husband or I like regular cakes. Krispy Kreme was the perfect option for us. We got 25 dozen (more then needed). Everyone at our wedding loved the idea and loved the doughnuts, Thank you Krispy Kreme for all the help.

I found a fingernail in my apple fritter. I was offered a refund and a dozen glazed donuts. Unacceptable. I am disgusted

Love KK! I never ever had Krispy Kreme before mov my to Texas… as I am from NY/CT…and there are barely any up there. I went here on a cheat night. Got 12 donuts. 8 gone within the first 30 minutes if that hahah! They were AMAZING! They have such a unique taste. Quite different from Dunkin… anyway, after that first great encounter I have been back to this KK ever since… about once every 4 – 6 weeks maybe. The employees are always so sweet, patient with me (as I am the most indecisive person) and always give me those free hot donuts :)

Doughy crack for your dining pleasure.
–Mornings are perfectly calm if you wander inside in between rushes. Also, their drive-​through gets slammed so don’t get offended if you’re left standing there for a bit.
–Evenings during the hot light range from ‘ok’ to ‘swarming den of doughnut crackheads’ But hey! gotta get that hot, fluffy original glazed!
–If you wanna pay close to 10 bucks for a dozen of ‘corporate, mass-​produced sugar rings’ have at it. However if it’s still morning just go to one of the local places and get more dough for your buck. [They won’t be hot but they usually taste better.]

It’s been years since I’ve been able to stop at a Krispy Kreme. Happily, the doughnuts here are as wonderful as the ones back home where I grew up. I had a classic glazed, lemon filled doughnut, and a chocolate glazed, crème filled doughnut.
Sadly, they were not currently cooking fresh ones when I was there, (just before 4pm) but the staff was pleasant and the place was pretty much spotless. Even the kitchen area, which as a former restaurant manager, is a big deal to me.
Sadly, now I am obligated to go for a run.
Worth. Every. Bite.

So i gave 2 stars just cause i like the companys donuts but the store has a sign that tells you when donuts are fresh they seem to not use it very well. I only go when the lights on and still get cold donuts today i pulled through and sat at the speaker and front window for a collective of 10 mins with no «can i help you» or anything i made eye contact with an employee and was still ignored will not be returning wich is sad cause i work next door

Ordered two originals and they were disgusting! Not going back there… I would give it no stars but I can’t post without selecting at least one stars… smh

The customer service was great. Iordered two donuts – one regular glazed and with filling. The drive-​thru line was short and quick in the morning. Donuts were cooked to perfection.. not too sweet, not gummy; I didn’t taste any old grease eiyher.

Krispy Kreme makes a good donuts and this location had lots of options and friendly employees even though it was New Years Day.

Krispy Kreme never fails, and I love Krispy Kreme to the moon and back! ’nuff said.
What a shame that there’s no Krispy Kreme in my hometown Houston, and that the closest location is 170+ miles away in Austin, TX. Those fresh, hot glazed donuts are worth the drive though! Lol

Let’s face it, I’m fat. This is why Krispy Kreme donuts and I get along so well. Something about their yummy goodness captivates my soul and pulls me in. I can’t say no!

Everything as expected … I’ve never once seen the «donuts in progress» or whatever that sign says … when they are coming off the assembly line hot and fresh.
The only time I’ve ever been disappointed in a Krispy Kreme donut is when it was purchased at a gas station in the mid-​West … where there was NO KK around. I will always go to the store and pick out my baker’s dozen.
Nice friendly staff at this location. It was clean and bright. Drive thu service is pleasant. Nothing awful and I returned many many times!

I’d like to rate this particular location, versus the chain (which is what I’m seeing amongst the previous ratings here).
Find a parking spot and start guessing how to get into the place. One option, the shortest distance from point A to point B, is climbing the wall of rose bushes and boulders — well, that, or, take a left or right to either end of a snakey roundabout sidewalk-​entrance leading to the front door. Me personally, I climbed.
As you would expect, there is the conveyer belt of doughnut-​making processes happening here. And the menu is vast for name with such a trademark product. What’s different here — the atmosphere? Not particularly. Old fashioned seating. Free wifi enabling me to write this very review. Dated music that is inarguably pleasant to the ears. Seasonal décor. All standardly exceptional.
Then, I read that the kolaches were made fresh daily, so I ordered one. To my horror came the wad of paper thrown in the microwave placed before me. (I can get that sort of thing at the Burger King across the tracks!)
When I asked to sample a pumpkin spice donut, I got shut down. 15 minutes passed «sample time». Who knew. I thought I could charm my way through this one, inquiring about what was what behind the glass (There are no labels like a Dunkin Donuts.) I was reluctantly responded to with vague and nondescript explanations of specialty donuts. Bummer. I’m all about the stoner-​food. Just gimme a taste!
I made it out at over 10 bucks for milk and coffee, four fat pellets (donuts), and a nuked wade of hope-it’s-still-good (kolaches). And yet, I know I’ll be back. :) Good thing there are other locations!

Krispy Kreme donuts are the things of imagination. To quote Chris Rock, «If someone told you there was crack in them you’d nod and say, I Knew there was something in them.»
Place was nice, staff seemed fine and I had a quick business meeting to attend to. I had a regular glazed and then a chocolate covered with milk. See, a simple man. I’ve never had a yeasty product float away on a breeze like a Krispy Kreme donut. Good stuff.
The Mrs. Johnsons, Round Rock donuts debate looms large but currently I’m starting to lean towards Round Rock. It helps that they’re just down the street.
Krispy Kreme has figured out the corporate donut though. No large chain does them this well.

Friendly staff and clean interior. The best part is watching the fresh donuts come out of the machine and getting to sample the donut. We drove all the way from Houston to be able to taste their delicious donuts. And by the end of the day, we walked out with a box of donuts per person.

This is your average Krispy Kreme. Love how they always give a fresh hot doughnut in the AM. So nice.
They couldn’t make their way to 4 stars for a couple of reasons.
1^st, they make it a point to keep people waiting outside, even when it’s chilly… Just because they don’t want people trying to order early or whatever. Seriously people?
All of you are in the store, you could open the doors and let people come in, just don’t take orders until 6. This annoys me, because I imagine if there was a tornado, hurricane etc around this early hour and the nearest shelter for a passing person happened to be Krispy Kreme and there were obviously workers in the store, they would NOT open the doors for you. They’d let you get sucked up by the powerful winds… Unless it was past 6am. Haha.
Aside from that, there is the coffee. Blah! My coworkers brew waaaay better cups! If I’d of known I would’ve paid for burnt nasty coffee, I might’ve chosen to endure the coffee headache.
Sadly I didn’t have time to go back for a refund, nor did I save my cup. Oh well… At least I know not to order coffee there again.
Still, their doughnuts are absolutely delish.
