I’d rather be hungry than eat here again. Backyard burger and store bought frozen veggie burger patty would almost be acceptable if it weren’t $ 7 and sans side item. It’s silly really. It’s not that captive of an audience. Sonic, Whataburger, A&W, Church’s, Popeyes, equally as good and within walking distance. Plus there’s Hillberts across the street.

WHATITIS: Grub Grill is an on-premises partnership with Nomad Bar which serves grilled grub to the bar’s patrons on certain days of the week(days/times listed on this profile page). Kinda like the food trucks ensconsed next to bars, only without the truck. It’s a great concept, if only for the fact that you get to interact and socialize with the friendly staff on the patio while your meal is being prepared. WHATTHEYGOT: The base menu at Grub Grill is straightforward: Burgers, grilled chicken breast, sausage wraps, and quesadillas, With the extras and sides available, however, you can pretty much create any combination that suits your fancy. I believe they are planning to add chili and salad to the menu, so your options increase from there. Chips and salsa/queso also available. WHATITCOSTS: Most of the entrees hover in the $ 5.00-$ 8.50 range, excluding your level of customization. Just like any other place. I don’t think anything on the menu is above $ 8.50, but don’t quote me on that. CONCLUSION: Grub Grill is the public equivalent of a social backyard barbecue. Great grub, reasonable prices, and friendly staff, all in the laid-back patio environment of Nomad Bar.
