For a measly $ 5(if using dine-in dollars) you get a GREATDEAL!!! This place is amazing. I love this place. The way I would describe this place is like a buffet on a cruise. Unlimited with a wide variety of foods, tons of windows, lots of seats and tables, and made to order lines. It really, doesn’t get better than this guys. I’ve eaten on a Disney Cruise Line, and this place tastes better(ok that might be a little exaggerated). Different foods at J2: –tacos –lasagna –hotdogs/burgers/fries –made to order eggs/hashbrowns/breakfast sausage –made to order stir fry line/pasta/phở –baked potatoes/sweet potatoes/chili/soup –salad –waffles with Texas imprinted on it –dessert bar –pizza –cereal My favorites are the made to order lines. I used to go there so much(I moved off campus) I made friends with the people who worked there! They’re super nice :). I was at J2 when they remodeled it and believe you me it looks so much better now! I’ve had tons of great conversations with people here and made lots of great memories. J2 regularly has cultural events which themed foods, so check those out. Hands down the best day to eat at J2 is THANKSGIVINGDINNER – please check this place out for the biggest event at J2 all year. Please. This place is the greatest. I used to dream about having me wedding reception here, so if that ever becomes an option I’m down. Seriously, it looks like those buffet lines on cruises. I will never hesitate to come here. Come here, come often, leave happy. P. S. The freshman 15 is real.

It’s not as bad as the other reviews suggest. The pizza, veggie burgers, and salads are all actually quite good. The fact that it’s all you can eat makes it really good if you’re on a budget.

Food tastes horrible. Only items worth eating are the fried eggs and stir-fry noodles/rice. Burgers are full if gristle and taste foul. Fries are burnt and oily, definitely not suitable for human beings. Plenty of unhealthy food full of bad carbs and sugars, such as waffles and ice cream. Once I live off-campus, I am never coming back here again(unless I get invited on a date). However, as an all-you-can-eat buffet for only $ 5, J2 is a good deal for broke college students. As they always say, «You pay for what you get.»

Meh Sometimes lukewarm temp food… Lots of carb options… Not a lot of meat… It’s hard to say the stuff here is unhealthy cause it is technically up to you. But what they have is whatever. If you’re in a hurry, this place is okay. Otherwise go somewhere else.
