Took forever to get acknowledged here. Saw a girl behind the counter just eating and drinking in plain sight and not taking our order. Nobody smiled terrible experience.

Ordered the chicken strips, ended up getting some weird burger with everything on it. I don’t understand how they can be so incapable. My receipt says the chicken…

So, I just purchased a #26 breakfast with a dr pepper. When I got to the bottom of my beverage I opened the lid to chew on the ice. Found this nice long hair inside on the cup’s wall… completely disgusted. Ps – I’m bald

Is it fast? Hardly. Do they regularly disappoint? Every time I’ve been here after 2pm, Yes. Is it the best drive thru? Nope. But they are always changing the menu and the employees usually smile and thank me. Curly fries are pretty generic. But consistently good. Ice cream machine almost always is out of order or being cleaned. Sad. Gf loves the Oreo shakes. One night we tried THREE separate restaurants all were out of order. Butter burger showed POOR execution and plating. The patty was beyond over cooked almost inedible. The butter sauce was preservative packed and tasted like it as well. But the upcharge for curly fries? Totes worth it. Won’t be back this year.

Probably the worst J in the B in town. It’s dirty, understaffed, and seems like every time I go there they screw my order up. So, solution time. Pick another location: P

For the most part this is your normal neighborhood jack in the box. I have been here several times over the years and have had not so good experiences and OK experiences here. Last night was Christmas night and Jack in the box seemed like literally the only place open at 1 am. I even drove by a few other spots like Taco Cabana, Whataburger, Burger King and McDonald’s and they were all closed. So this being the only place open the line was crazy long. When I turned in from William Cannon I could barely inch out of the main street. I could literally see 11 cars in front of me from the street to the ordering menu then there were probably another 4 cars that I could not see waiting on their food. So lets say there were probably 15 cars in line. I was thinking… I can’t believe I am going to sit through this. but I was willing to because I had just gotten off work and did not want to go home and cook. After the first 7 mins or so I was pleasantly surprised how swiftly the line was moving … this was very unlike any Jack in the Box experience I had ever had on a regular day. I was literally through the drive thru line in about 16 – 18 minutes with 15 cars in front of me … that was not bad at all. I was expecting it to be way worse. Maybe I am so happy about it because I had low expectations. Anyway I want to give the crew that was working last night, Christmas night 12÷25÷2014−12÷26÷2014 a huge shout out! They were absolutely 5 star Jack in the Box quality. I give this review 4 stars because on my last visit my order was not right … but anyway back to the positivity. The crew last night was working like a well oiled machine. I wish all fast food restaurants would produce this quality of work! Thanks for working on Christmas! I hope your boss reads this and gives you a raise or a promotion!

Horrible service. Every time I get any food there it’s soaked in oil and my food is always cold. Always always always. Freaking disgusting! YOULLBEWASTINGYOUREMONEY!

Disappointed by this place, but it is my local JITB. Have been here quite few times since it is on my route home. But it’s time to say something about the service. I gotta have my curly fries, but am constantly turned off by the disrespect I receive from the majority of the employees. I have worked fast food before so I can relate. Understanding that working the night shifts suck. Unfortunately there are certain individuals who work at this location that are near-miserable. I have been constantly disappointed by the rudeness when just ordering my regular meal after getting off a 10 – 11 hour shift at my own job, just trying to feed myself and stay positive, affect people positively even in my own exhaustion. At the fast food establishment I spent years at, I never saw any of my coworkers treat customers like dirt, idiots. But at this location I’m an assumed drunk idiot ordering food late after partying, when in reality I’m just exhausted, getting off a closing shift myself? Hope jack in the box reads this and knows which individuals I’m speaking of. Wouldn’t ever go here if the location wasn’t so perfect on route home and working retail hours– only time to eat is when everything else is closed. Will say that I have encountered a nice, decent guy there. Had pleasant service. But that was once. Hire more like him, and this place will have better ratings.

I always get really good service. A couple times I’ve gotten annoyed with waiting which usually only happens when I go in to order. But the drive thru is usually pretty on point, especially when Daniel is working. The staff is generally friendly, but late night it’s a little different. I think that’s when they have the weirdos work so they don’t have to deal with as many customers. It’s my «go to» JIB so I’ll def be back soon.

Is JIB a guilty pleasure for anyone besides me? Gotta love those coupons that come monthly in the circular — gives you an excuse to indulge. Anyway, this JIB is admittedly not very good. But it’s not like you’re going to drive across town(or an extra 2 miles) to go to a better one. If you were feeling that motivated, you probably wouldn’t be eating at Jack in the Box.

This is an O.k. Jack in the Box location. I may get a little excited because I’m from the northeast and we don’t have Jack in the Box in my area. I will say that the food is cheap. You can get breakfast any time of the day, whats not to love about that. This is the only place with the sourdough bread, that’s a plus. I love the sourdough burgers and breakfast sandwiches. On the occasions that I have been here, the staff has always been pleasant. On the other hand the food comes out slower than expected. Also, I keep getting the tacos… I don’t know why. They are gross and cheap. Don’t get the $ 1.00 tacos. As far as cleanliness goes its o.k. The bathroom was acceptable and did not smell. A few of the tables still had crumbs on them, but eh… They do have that really awesome 50 flavor coke machine though. When I took the Unilocal photo a year ago it was shiny and new. A year later, it looks dingy, and most of the soda flavors were unavailable.

i know its just jack in the box, but this place has some problems. during the morning time, i have no problems. my order is always right and tastes good. i have been here a few times late at night after 1 am or so. and its totally different. one time we drove up there and they were open, but nobody was answering the drive through and we waited a few minutes. the car in front of us also waited and then drove off. there were people inside the store. unknown what they were doing in there but they were not taking any orders. another night we went there and they got our order totally wrong. people were hanging out outside of the store with an employee. we have gotten some damn good sourdough jacks before here. but just seems like the night staff is slacking off too much in there.

Went there this past weekend on Saturday and had some Tacos. The place was dirty. I notice staff cleaning while I was eating and they were using a napkins with not sanitation spray on the tables and dropping left over crumbs on the floor. Then noticed he picked up a napkin rolled into the one he was cleaning with and continued to clean tables. Icing on the cake was when he took his bare hands and push the trash into the full trash can then continued to wipe the tables. Next he took the trash out to the dumpsters pushed it in again no gloves on hands and upon returning into the dinning area leaned over the ordering counter with the dirty had to grab trash bags. He then returned to the kitchen and began to prepare meals. I hope no one gets sick at this place.

I have to admit, I had been to this Jack in this Box my first week moving back to Austin 4 years ago, and it had not won me over, so i had not been back since this week. living so close, it seemed like a natural choice coming home from the emergency room this past thursday night. now my girlfriend will say that it was all the methylmorphine i was on, but i do believe at the e.r., i saw jack reading a magazine on the other side between the crying babies and the family who could not speak english. now i am not sure if they take reservations, but we were somehow allowed to proceed through the drive-thru at 2a.m. with such a wide variety to select from(they even have seafood folks), i was rushed and made a last minute decision to get an order of their infamous tacos. thats english for taco i think. what i had heard but not believed till this point, is that you can get two of these bad boys, for only one american dollar. take that france, talking about the value of american money. what was even more convenient, was that the friendly cashier let us put the entire 2 taco purchase on a credit card. i was even given a free upgrade and somehow managed to get napkins and hot sauce added to my order at no charge. again, i had just came from st. davids off of ben white so my mind is a little fuzzy, but i do remember that i had to take food with the medicine i picked up at the 24 hr cvs on congress so i ate those tacos post haste. i can honestly say without a doubt that i made the best possible decision at the time. still not knowing what that tantalizing meat they used to fill the inside of the tough corn shell, i can only assume it was something exotic such as river rat, or a bean toad(if there is such an animal). the sauce complimented the napkins greatly, and i can assure you dear reader, that i was able to get sauce just about every where including my shirt, my hospital bracelet, and even some on the floor. the best part about my experience was the next morning when i woke up i was immediately reminded about the previous meal on the way to the toilet, thanks to the vomit that came directly from my mouth. i think some of the food went back down, so i would consider that a second meal for free(discount $$$). i can honestly say without a doubt, this is the best meal i have ever eaten, after coming out of the emergency room. i had other choices, 7 – 11, a random taco stand, or even something from the trash, but in the end it was my drug induced vision(or proximity of location to residence and time of day) that led me to this great adventure.
