If it was possible to give this place zero stars I would. The place is a dive and the drinks are as bad as they are cheap. It’s also filled with creepy guys, but I guess they can’t be blamed for the clientele they attract. They should get zero stars because of their absolutely horrible bar service. Bartenders are rude, dismissive, and poorly trained. This might be the worst service I have ever received at a bar. You couldn’t pay me to come back to this place. I can’t believe they have the audacity to charge a cover charge to get into this dump.

The DJ was on one tonight. Good vibes and nice crowd. Would definitely recommend if your looking for trap music/​hip-​hop to dance to in Austin

Came here on a Saturday night with some friends. Here’s how it went down at the bar…
I ask the bartender if they have Jameson and he says no. No problem! I ask him what kind of whiskey they have and he comes back with Jose Cuervo. Uh, okay? Never mind, let’s go with vodka instead.
I hand him my credit card – close it out, please – and he puts it next to the register. Then he leaves it there and starts helping other guests for 5 minutes. I ask him if he’s done with my card. He glares at me and continues helping other guests.
A few minutes later, goes to ring me up and hands me the bill and my card – except it’s not my credit card. I flag him down and tell him he gave me the wrong card. He doesn’t believe me at first, but eventually goes to check by the register. He comes back, shrugs, and says, «Well, your card isn’t there anymore.» Not a word of apology in sight. To top it all off, he hands me back the other person’s credit card. And what exactly am I supposed to do with that?
Got up and left. Would be zero stars if it were an option.

I had some really fun nights here before with an old friend on mine. I’ll never forget those nights. This is a pretty cool dance club… I’ll sometimes visit this place just to check out the crowds dancing. They serve 1 dollar mixed drinks, but the cups are small. Drink enough of them and you can get a pretty nice buzz going on for cheap. Have an upstairs area. don’t forget to check that out it’s really nice up there. You can look outside from there on the crowds sequestering 6^th. Haven’t had an issue with any of the staff yet, though it seems like others on here have by the reviews haha. Nah I had some nice bartenders serve me here. Music here is what you expect from dance clubs I guess. You have to be 19+ to get in here, not 21+ since it’s a dance club.

Asshole of a manager and horrible bartenders… Never going here again… Hope it gets shut down…

I went o Krave with my husband last week.
Maybe the experience would be very different on a different day, but there was no cover, the drinks were super cheap and the music was amazing.
We had a great time, domestic beer was $ 1, wells were $ 2 and there was a great lady DJ that kept playing a great variety of music, from Hip Hop to Electronic.
The crowd was very diverse and it was a blast to see everyone dance.
Pretty cool experience even if you are not a club-​goer.

Word for word… So we walk in with 6 people mind you that is 6 money makers no? The bartender in the front was no friendly. She was like annoyed we even asked for a shot. Ok so they played music i like. Well then i went and put money in the machine to punch the bag for fun with my brothers and it took my money. Not only 1 but 2 dollars. I thought maybe the first dollar didnt go through so me and my brothers FIVE minutes later put in another dollar. It took that. The nicest person in the whole place was the bartender right across with the brown hair. She actually went to management and sent a bald head guy who came and pulled down the punching bag and rolled his eyes. Then i said what you really think this was my fault this is in your bar i was nice about it to her. «HE TRIED TO FIGHT ME» who is running this place. IF YOU want i am great at advertising ill replace him in one day! call me! That i so rude why on earth would you bully a nice guy like me bringing 6 people to your place! not only did you ruin my night you ruined my families weekend that we all were speding together after a year because im not on 6^th street im writing a shitty review for this bar. OWNER CALL ME. REBRAND please!

This club was called Roxy’s back in the late 90’s and 2000. The club had explosive energy back then. It was off the chain, back in the day. I guess because hip hop was better at the time. Now the club has turned into SHIT. The crowd is lame and has no energy. It’s a more sophisticated crowd now. 6^th street isn’t like it used to be. It’s a whole different vibe now. The club is full of bitchy, racist, and lame women.

I came here last night to support my god son’s dream of being a aspiring music artist. I mean, I wasn’t expecting out of the top service, especially from all the horrible reviews I had read prior to going. But I have to admit, if it wasn’t for me coming to watch my god son perform, I would have never stepped foot in this «establishment». Not only were they short of staff, but the only bartenders were so rude. One girl in particular named, Samantha (light blue tank top) wouldn’t even engage in friendly conversation while I was ordering a couple of drinks, for my wife and i. But the part that set me off the most was that she, had charged me twice for my drinks, put the cash in the tip cash in the tip jar and thought I wouldn’t notice, I guess. (I don’t even think she rang up the drinks) Bottom line, it was one of the worst experiences/“service” I have had in my favorite part of town.

Would have said that I love the place and music… But after we had been there for and hour or so a random girl came up and told us the table we had been sitting at for the entire time was reserved. Which was bull to me since we had been there for awhile And there was no sign or notice that the spot was reserved. I am not usually a complainer but to have been there for well over an hour and be told to leave for a group just showing up shows a lack of professionalism since anyone at any time could have let us know that the spot was reserved. Won’t waste my $$ here again!!!

Really wish my friends and I had gone before 11, since another review said there was no cover… but we went around midnight or 1 and had a lovely cover charge. No biggie though, it was worth it. We did not get to order any drinks since we were past our limit, but you bet we danced our asses off. The people are super fun, the DJ knows what he’s doing, the lights almost gave me a panic attack-​all the makings of a good club haha (no sarcasm!)

I mean… it’s the only 18+ club on 6^th, so if you have an under-​21 in your party, this is pretty much your only option. Given that, it was fit for purpose. I went here w/​a bachelorette party early on a Saturday night (like 10) and the DJ gave our bride free drinks all night, gave us shoutouts from the booth, and played the bride’s request. Couldn’t ask for much more than that! Sure it’s kind of smelly and the crowd is questionable at best, but it worked for us.

Had a great time last night a little crowded but no cover charge before 11. Ciroc with sprite was a little strong but so worth it.

I would give this place zero Starz if I could. Austin is so cool, we are fun loving people. Went here, had fun, but the my wife went to dance on stage and of course I followed to dance with her. I had no idea «men» were not allowed up there… instead of being asked to step down, I was grabbed by a small black man. Obviously, I reacted and asked the the gentleman keep his hands off people. he could have asked me politely to step down, and I would have. Unfortunately he used force, and almost threw me off balance. Of course I was upset and asked that he not touch me again, and I will gladly step down, I added, do it again and I’ll beat ur ass… which was true. next thing I know.4 bouncers are headed my way. so I on my own will, start walking out as, I wanted to leave at those point, actually raised my hands in the air to be «sure» they knew I wasn’t aggressive, half way out, 6 foot tall white gentleman, grabs my hands and puts them behind my back. two thoughts race through my mind… first, why are u «apprehending me»? As I am peacefully leaving, second, I’m a seasoned wrestler, u just put urself in the worst possible situation, hr head will be split in 2 sec…3^rd thought, I kill this guy, and then the two more that come after once he’s done… cops get there, I go to jail garanteed… so I swallow my pride and did nothing. .I have too much to lose over some idiots. Best thing I can do is smash them on social media… so please avoid this place. there are funner spots

For what it is this is a cool place. This is your 18 and up dance club. I believe there is a cover charge. Obviously when you don’t have as many people buy alcohol you have to charge. It can get a bit crazy and a little rowdy. And the crowd can be a bit immature sometimes. But if you like a wild dance club this might be the place for you. As always bar hop when you are downtown! They do have a few decent drink specials but not as good as some of the other bars. The DJ is fairly decent as well
