These brats put Best Wurst to shame!
Located in the courtyard of Moontower Saloon. I was devastated when a Rappolos (belch) replaced Pretty Thai For A White Guy there. But lucky me, Local Yokel came to my rescue! Sure it’s not Thai food, but it was the downright BEST brat I’ve ever had. They local source all their meats (my brat was from Elgin). They slice into it a bit so much of the grease drips away, leaving you with the most flavorful, delicious brat ever.
The toasted bun was awesome. I had mine with sauerkraut & spicy mustard. It was fantastic.
The chips under are a nice touch for when some sauerkraut fell out — didn’t have to use my fingers to put it back in.
I’m seriously looking forward to trying the sautéed onions… the smell wafting from the trailer was nothing short of glorious!

Local Yokel is located at the Moontower Saloon and is one of two options for food there right now. The philly cheese steak I had was ok but cost a bit more than I would have liked, 8 $.
