Sadly I have to update and lower their rating. While the help I received was exceptional the mattress quality is subpar. The second mattress is causing me so much pain I am once again in search of a new mattress. I just don’t feel like I can trust the quality of their product and will be purchasing my next (and hopefully last) mattress somewhere else.

Actually a pleasant experience. Surprising but true. We bought a king mattress and that was a pleasant and fairly quick trip, especially considering we financed in house. That mattress was too soft so we swapped it out and again a pleasant exchange. Super fast and friendly delivery. They even wear those little shoe cover thingies when they come on carpet. We will buy our next mattresses here, too.

This was the last place in my last to visit before deciding on my mattress. Nathan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He had excellent customer service. I cancelled a tentative order at another place after visiting these guys. If you are doing for a mattress go here! Save yourself some time and come here first! I had a pleasant experience and would recommend Sleep Experts and Nathan to all my friends and family. Good job you guys! One happy customer!

I was out looking for a Tempur-pedic mattress and went out to other stores in the area (Mattress Firm) and their reps in my opinion were not very helpful. They were a little stale in their presentation of information and were not proactive regarding any questions I may have. My roommate recommended I come here and boy was the experience different. Nathan greeted me and we conversed for a while before actually taking the time to talk about the mattresses. I knew what I wanted but we spent quite some time picking out pillows. I really like that they have a sanitary napkin to try different pillows and hand sanitizer at the counter for when you’re finished browsing. The atmosphere and friendliness here is what made the purchase easy. If you like personable individuals to assist you with a big purchase such as a mattress there is no better place in Austin!

I have to say buying a mattress seems like it should be an easy thing to do, but the fact is you should take your time and really research not just what’s marketed the best, but rather what is best for you and your needs. I have never spent more than about $ 500 on a mattress set, so to consider a TempurPedic was hard for me to justify… However, I have a husband with a bad back and really wanted to find something that would help him sleep better and wake up less sore. We went to several stores around the Sunset Valley area and found Ken at Sleep Experts to be the most knowledgeable of his products and the least pressuring to make a sale. The whole process from purchase in the store to delivery at our home was smooth and easy. Thank you Ken and Sleep Experts!

I rarely write Unilocal reviews but I simply had to share the phenomenal customer service by both Chris and Cameron.
When I finally made the decision to invest in a new mattress, I had no idea what I was looking for. I decided to go to Sleep Experts due to the great reviews posted about Chris. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the mattress industry but was beyond patient with me. Also, I took advantage of their exchange policy and decided to upgrade to a queen size bed after I had originally purchased a full size mattress. Cameron made the exchange process painless. The best retail customer service I have ever experienced.

My W Hotel mattress (3 years old) is terrible and sags. Don’t ever buy one. I read reviews after the fact and it is terrible.
Anyhow, I needed a new mattress and this store is near my house. I went in asking a bunch of questions (a good website about mattresses is
) and evidently the guy thought I was a competitor shopping around. I picked the bed I wanted and saw there is a sign that says «we will price match.» So I just told him, I am going to go home and find the best price on the internet or you can just save me time and give me a better price. I got a price and quickly searched on my phone and it was a good price so I was done.
My only negative point about this place is their pillow return. I had a coupon for a free pillow. I upgraded to pillow in the $ 100 – 150 range. I was trying to decide b/w 2 — I didn’t want one too thick. Well I bought one and it was too thick and even though I did not use it, I could not return it.
SO DON’T BUY A PILLOW unless you are absolutely sure.

We went into this Sleep Experts, at Sunset Valley, on two separate occasions recently. On the first visit we met with the manager, who was extremely knowledgeable not just on the products, but on sleep habits and sources of back pain during sleep. His professionalism was noteworthy. We bought the mattress on the second visit, when a different salesperson happened to be present. He was equally professional and very pleasant to close the deal with. Overall, a great experience and a good deal too. Do not hesitate to buy a mattress here.
