There’s usually a long line at the cashier & I can never find someone to help me when I’m trying to make a bigger purchase, like when I needed a Cricut. Since there’s usually no employee around I always end up using Google for more info(and end up finding better prices online) or I don’t buy in store if I can’t find more info. They do have a lot of inventory for a smaller crafts store. I like that I can find most things I need in a pinch, and the location is convenient. I usually end up looking up things I need online & then just come here for materials.

The employers at this place are really snotty and not helpful at all! What’s the point for them to work there that they need to help people and be cheerful instead treating us crap! Will not go there again.

Great arts & crafts store with just about anything you could need for any craft imaginable. They have frequent sales on great stuff, coupons available by app and mailer, and a great staff to help you get the best deal on your purchases. Michaels has monthly classes to help you hone in on craft skills such as sewing, embroidery, framing, and they even have classes for the kids! Highly recommended, but don’t shop without bringing your coupons!

This review is for the excellent customer service I received from Laurie and her staff at this location, when I brought three pieces of artwork in to have them framed and/or matted. Laurie made fantastic suggestions for each piece and obviously knew her craft extremely well. Each of my prints was different, one was a canvas, one was a paper print with a tricky acrylic wash on top, and one was cut paper that needed to layer over another piece of paper. Laurie went way above and beyond to make each one a standout! I loved the results and I will bring all my future framing jobs here as long as Laurie is at this store! P. S. You should also know that after Laurie went to all the trouble to stay late and get my stuff matted before my deadline, as soon as I got home I cracked the piece of glass she had specially cut for me. I called the store and explained what had happened and they immediately replaced it for me, free of charge. How nice!!!

the only reason I gave it one star is that I HAVE to!!! Took a pic in to get framed. it already had a mat around it, but I bought a frame with a mat and asked to have that mat replace the existing one. Got a call to pick it up and when I got there it still had the original mat around it. The jerk who waited on me would NOT give me the mat from the frame I purchased unless I surrendered the original mat. It said right on the order these were to be exchanged. After talking to the manager. because bearded wonder refused to talk to me anymore, I got the mat I wanted, but not the refund that I paid to have these idiots frame it for me. I will NEVER shop at that Michael’s again. EVER!!!

I am a very arts and crafty kind of person. I love to decorate my house and I love doing projects with little man. This is a great location for this store but very disappointed the size of the store and the lack of their selection. They still have lots of stuff but the last couple times I have been there I have left empty handed because I am looking for specific things. They do have the cheapest price on candy flavoring oil. It is fifty cents cheaper than Hobby Lobby. They do have great sales on custom frames. Not sure yet but I also think I may buy couple of things little man can decorate for Christmas for his Grandma and grandpa. I saw some cute things he can paint for his teachers for Christmas. From a child I have always thought that hand made gifts are more thoughtful maybe not as pretty but when you know the child it’s the time and effort they put into it.

The store is nice, not a long wait to check out, the cashier was nice, fully stocked, etc… typical Michaels… BUT, there is absolutely NOPARKING. And there’s so much traffic in the parking lot! Good grief, it took me at least 15 minutes before I finally gave up and parked on the other side of HEB and just made the walk over there. I know that’s not Michael’s fault, but eh the store isn’t worth that hassle. I’ll just start going to one of the other 4 craft stores in the area.

So I only come here when dear old Mom needs some crafting material. It’s hard to write an objective review on a place I am already biased about being in, but here goes. Like other crafting places, it seems like they are always understaffed and you always have a wait to check out. The selection of yarn here seemed less than Hobby Lobby but had better prices. And they actually had brown paper bags for their patrons. That’s a plus in my book since this stupid bag ban.

This is the Michaels location near Lakeline Mall. This location usually has a better selection than other locations and they are quicker at stocking so you don’t miss out on sales. Their customer service is very good. My go-to Michaels when I really need something(and the other Michaels usually won’t have it).

I have been working on a jewelry project for weeks now, and I’m not crafty at all. Multiple store visits to different places and Michael’s came in to save the day. Nancy was supposed to be doing demonstrations, but offered to help me, and she was amazing. She walked with me to each section of the store where I needed to get something, and showed me how to finish the project. The project is a leather necklace for my husband for our anniversary only days away, so needless to say I am so grateful for all the help. I will go back to take a class from Nancy for sure!

I like their convenient location for me! But uhmmm… that is about it! Can they Pulleeeezz get a second cashier… please!!! I am not asking for a full staff of them… just a second one will suffice, or be a start that is! They do carry a great selection when I am feeling crafty. But their service kinda stinks. They seem friendly enough, just not enough staff.

I avoid this place when I can, but as a crafter well, it’s nearly impossible. I have realized tonight, going in to look at some hooks, I found myself trying to look at books. While they have an awesome selection, they absolutely refuse to allow for ***ANY*** coupons to be used on the books(tends to be the high dollar item for me). Note to self, use the coupons for the yarns and hooks! Sheesh, I could have saved myself a butt load o cash buying the same thing elsewhere. Sheesh. Hence 2 stars!
