Every Panda Express is about the same, so this applies to all of them. First, the good: it’s fairly tasty fast food, the ingredients used seem fresh, and the quality is consistent. On the other hand, I just find the place annoying. The servers pretty much speak according to a script, and they’re constantly trying to up-sell. I know they’re forced to, but it’s annoying. That still didn’t dissuade me. But now the seem to have raised their prices and the portions are smaller. I just got my plate and small soda and even with the shrimp upgrade I couldn’t believe it was $ 10.33. And now with every purchase they ask you to donate to charity. I’ll probably cut down on going here because every time I feel like it’s a bit of a ripoff.

So disappointed! I got the grilled teriyaki chicken and when I got it home it turned out to be under cooked! I went back to ask for a refund and a replacement and the manager told me they don’t do that. I didn’t think I needed to explain the risk posed on someone eating raw chicken but I did.

Customer service here is not very good. There’s no warm greetings. The employees actually seemed to be ignoring me. When someone FINALLY decided to serve me. Most of the food was already gone. They were taking a lot for the drive thru and I got the butt end of everything. Their food bowls are not well stocked. Employees do NOT smile. ever. There was a wet floor sign next to the drink station although no wet floor. So that makes me feel like that sign has just been there forever. Food wasnt even hot anymore. Probably because it has been out for awhile… I wish I went somewhere else.

Disgusting. The worst chinese food I’ve ever had. My hubby and I were starving and craving chinese food. We decided to stop here, instead of our usual chinese food spot, since we were shopping close by. The food looked appetizing but tasted horrible. There was no seasoning on the food. I ordered the string bean chicken and the chicken tasted burnt. My husbands beef dish was tough and had a bad after taste. The crab rangoon lacked crab and tasted like cream cheese in a greasy pastry puff. I will not be returning here.

Even though they advertise being open until 10:30, whenever I arrive around 10 the door is already locked and the food is already gone.

Overall the food is decent. I prefer other locations to this one. This one seems to have less experienced cooks. Cant beat the prices or speed when you are looking for a quick chinese meal. Well, american chinese.

As far as Panda Express’ go, I can’t complain too much about this one. The drive-thru is usually quick, the cashier as nice as a drive-thru cashier can be expected to be, and I don’t get sassed about asking for mandarin sauce and sweet n sour like the Parmer location. I always get the same thing: Orange Chicken, Chow Mein, and Cheese Rangoons and it is usually healthy servings of the OC and CM and the rangoons never taste stale or old like at the the Pflugerville location. My only gripe here is their chow mein could more noodles and less veggie filler.

If I could give it negative stars I would! It’s always some thing! Need to clearly get their credit card machine looked at! For the second time I haven’t been able to get food at through the drive threw bcuz the«name on my card is too long» the same cards I used to pay at Taco Bell after wards. Their customer service sucks! Never again! That sucks too bcuz I like the food!

Heck, I admit I like cheap Chinese food. It’s right there for the world to see in my Unilocal profile. However, today was definitely a meh experience. It started with a long line that moved slowly, although that’s not Panda’s fault. However, a lack of trays for those of us eating in makes for an awkward serving line. Couple that with them being out of the chicken eggrolls. The lady on the serving line tried talking me out of the eggroll several times, first telling me of a six minute wait, then offering me the cream cheese puffs or the vegetable egg roll instead, then seeming almost disappointed when I insisted on the chicken egg roll. So, the food. Well, the orange chicken and rice were the exact cheap Chinese food that I sometimes crave. But the eggroll that I waited so long for? It was hot on the outside but the vegetables inside tasted barely cooked at all. So, for $ 10 and change, I had serviceable chicken and rice and a Pepsi product(Panda doesn’t have unsweetened tea.). I think I’m gonna have to find a different purveyor of cheap Chinese to satisfy my craving.

I’m such a sucker for their steamed veggies. When I’m in a hurry and need a quick/cheap meal on the north side, but don’t want to eat ridiculously awful, I can justify a fast food meal if I get steamed veggies. This is some pretty sweet and delusional logic, because I’m sure the chow mein and orange chicken I also get are downright terrible for human consumption – particularly the chicken, I’m not entirely sure it’s all chicken. I try not to look too hard. Quick service, clean location, yummy chow mein and vegetables and smaller portions(the bowl) on the menu. It’s fast food, and it’s not gourmet like they claim to be, but you could do worse with $ 6.

Food is okay, probably around a six on a scale of ten. I mean, come on, it still is fast food supposedly. The reason I say this is the last time I went through the drive thru I ordered the three item plate and was told that two of the items would require that I wait five to six minutes at a drive thru!!! So, decided to change my order to get out more quickly and they did the exact same thing again, a five to six minute wait on different items. Now this was early evening where they still should have had things ready, so I think I will pass on this place next time and try to find something more reliable.

First off, let me say that I have never been compelled to write a review until now… Short and Rude order taker, asked for BBQ pork which I was told was discontinued! I used to order it every time I went to P.E. and ALWAYS had to wait or was told they were out, lol. I guess it was a fluff piece or it was the best thing they had and everyone used to buy them out before I got there, so this makes perfect sense either way for them to get rid of it! haha!!! right?! So I said I would just need a minute to pick something else since that was my usual and got no acknowledgement at all, just silence, and there were 0 people behind me. Im wondering how long I might have to make up my mind before she decides to spit in my food… One entrée is now almost $ 9 w/a L drink(only 20c more than small$. The drink was syrup and water, flat as can be. I drive off and get to my destination and realize there is no soy sauce in my bag. No offer or inquiry as to whether Id like anything with my cold soggy meal… I felt robbed…

Everyone knows the drill with Panda Express, so I’ll base my review around this particular location. Recent construction, clean inside and out, nice shopping complex, nice outdoor seating area, etc. If you like Panda, you’ll find this one to be quite pleasant. The service was quick for a to-go order, even during lunch hour.

Is this a high-fallutin’ Austin eatery? You’d be kidding yourself if you said yes. However, Panda Express fills a few niches which is why it gets four stars: –Low-cal and ‘healthier’ choices for those who just can’t do ‘burger-style’ fast food very often for health/other reasons(that’s me!) –Quick service with a smile –Vegetables, and plenty of them, not overcooked –samples. At this restaurant, both my husband(who likes a good Orange Chicken once in a while) and me can enjoy a good meal. I like the outright nutrition information posted on their website and in store that tell me what each item has in cholesterol, sodium content, etc. so I can make informed choices while eating out. Thanks for helping making eating«fast» food a little bit easier, Panda Express!

It was around 2:00 p.m. when I arrived for lunch and saw a wild Iron Chef type guy stirring items in a frenzy using a giant wok. Otherwise, there were warming trays of Chinese food offerings. I felt like I was straddling two different realities. Is it fresh or is the wok guy a shill? It is Asian American. Not as spicy as I like nor as Asian as I like but it will do since they have the packets of hot mustard and I’m already here. The Cashew Chicken was free(thanks to a coupon) and for a little over $ 3.00 I added an egg roll(meh) and fried rice(another meh) and a water. I accidentally(without thinking) put green tea in my cup when I really wanted water. Don’t make this mistake. The water is much better. Sometimes I do fall for the«free» deals and disappoint myself and my taste buds. But this did not register as high on the disappointment scale as the economy, a spilled bottle of Malbec, or my neighbors pet sitting a screeching Cockatoo for a month.

Inexpensive, fast, tastey. That about sums it up. Panda is one of my favorite fast food places. Although Panda is quite westernized their Orange Chicken & Bejing Beef are both excellent and their sweet & sour sauce is one of my favorites from any Chinese restaurant. For the price it’s a great choice.

I realize this review is almost the same as the other Panda Express, but it just shows that they are consistent. I am not too big a fan of Panda Express, but sometimes when you gots that craving for Asian American food, this is the quickest way to go. I like the fact you can switch your rice to fried rice, noodles… or mixed veggies, which is what I always go for. Schwing! I do like that they are always clean and you get to see them cook your food, so you know they aren’t spitting it… while they’re cooking that is. And for the most part, the food is rather fresh. I like this location because then I can hop over to Sonic for their huge drinks. It almost matches with our Panda food.
