Let me first state; I love a dive bar. Gritty, punk rock, tattooed and rock n roll, I’m about it.
I had to quit the karaōke league I joined who signed a contract here because this place was so awful. Filthy bar, filthy bar tender who looked and smelled like a wannabe gutter punk. Owner/​Manager left the keys to the bar, back room and safe in the floor. Tried to do the right thing and return them, only to get treated like shit by an Axe reeking frat boy type who could care less. Now I wish I’d given them to homeless folks.
The only bonus is knowing how quickly this place will go under with its current stickiness and horrible business practices.

My husband I stopped by during the Pecan Street Festival excited to see that they had chairs open. Sat down and ordered our drinks. 2 drinks for 2 people. He comes back with one drink, half of which was what I ordered the other half what my husband ordered. No big deal I can drink it anyways, make him a new drink. I decide to use the restroom halfway through my drink. BIG mistake. There’s 3 stalls. 2 girls already I’m there. One in a stall, one waiting and I walked in and knew. It smelled like an outhouse. One stall was full of urine and toilet paper and paper towels, the other empty one when I finally got the balls to kick the door open enough to look had shit all over the toilet. The 2 sinks were both full of dirty paper towels and who knows what else. Floor looked like it had been peed on more than once. I took some pictures and left. Never in my life have I needed a drink so bad and had to leave a full one sitting on a bar to get one. I will never set foot in this establishment again. I also understand why this was the only place in Austin that had seating available today.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
I waited at the bar for 15 minutes and never got waited on. The bartenders were too busy chatting up the girls at the other end of the bar and doing shots with them to even notice the other 10 customers waiting at the bar to be served.
The KJ was rude and uninviting. I didn’t feel welcomed there at all.
The tables were dirty and wet. They looked like they had not been wiped down all day.
The guy restroom was completely out of paper for drying your hards after washing and was dirtier than a truck stop.
This place is new but it won’t last very long if this kind of crappy service continues.
