The overall one star is definitely justified. No matter what you order, expect to wait 30 minutes and to be served by a scrubby teenager with hickies on his neck. They also frequently mix up orders and the card scanner is broken on all of their machines.

Worst Sonic! Actually, worst service/fast food/dining experience ever! I waited for my food for 40 minutes only to receive ice cold fries and burgers– made COMPLETELY wrong! And I mean the EXACT opposite that asked for(and had confirmed back to me). While I was waiting for my ice cold meal to be served to me, the manager Kedrick, came busting out of the doors yelling and cussing. He then cussed toward some dark sedan parked in the hop area, and then proceeded to a small shed/dumpster area and kicked and punched the metal loudly, cussing obscenities at the top of his lungs. The only reason I brought my food home instead of demanding a refund, was the fact that I was scared for mine & my mother’s safety, and figured if the manager behaves that way… well I am sure you get the picture. So, then when I go to leave, the dark sedan cuts me off from taking my turn at the exit, which gave me the opportunity to see a young girl in a sonic uniform. I will NEVER visit this sonic again… In fact, I may never eat at any Sonic ever again!!! Appalled! Wasted my few precious hours I have left between clock out time & bedtime waiting on cold food I spent $ 20+ dollars on

This sonic needs to be closed down already. Regardless if they’re busy or not, it always takes over 5 minutes for them to even respond to take your order. The food is prepared sloppy. They mess up frequently. I’ve had the manager vouch free food next time serval times after they messed up, but it’s not even worth my time going back there.

This location definitely has issues! I ordered two drinks and it took them over 30 minutes to bring them out to me. I waited about 15 minutes and pushed the order button again to no response. I pushed the button after waiting another five minutes and someone responded. When I told them I was still waiting for my drinks the girl asked me what my order was and said nothing else after I repeated the order to her. Ten minutes after that someone finally brought my drinks out but they were made incorrectly. A few minutes later the girl brought the right drinks out but failed to bring straws. I would avoid going to this location if it is at all possible.

I pulled in to Sonic because I was craving a Lemon Berry Slush. It is my all time favorite and I have to say Sonic has always been my «go to place» when I am craving something bad. I dislike going to the Sonic on Oltorf for many reasons but this particular reason is the straw that broke the camels back. I drive an SUV which sits high enough to allow me to look into the building and see the folks work away. I was watching the tall caucasian female who happened to be wearing a bun in her hair clean what appeared to be either a shake mixer or some type of appliance. I thought how annoying it must be trying to get off all the dried ice cream off the machine. I also noticed she was the only one in there at the time and it was taking longer than usual to get my drink out. She scrubbed away with a white wash cloth while the other employees began to enter the building. I noticed she turned around and walked over to the slush syrups and pumped it into a cup and walked over to the lemons, placed her unwashed hands in it, pulled a lemon out, squeeze it into the cup letting the lemon fall into the bottom of the cup. That’s right… her unwashed hands that were just cleaning some sort of an appliance with a dirty towel touching the lemons that will later be buried under what is suppose to be the best slush ever. She then wipes her hands all over her pants which I don’t doubt are layered in filth, grease & dirt. I don’t doubt she will then repeat step A & B without ever washing her hands. This leads me to believe that washing hands is not a common practice at this store. Is it unfair to judge a store by one person? Maybe, but I am a firm believer that this is a reflection on management. I can deal with slow service, cold food and the other shenanigans this store is pretty good at giving. But, this is down right disgusting and I would not be surprised if people have gotten sick from eating at this store. I spoke with Manager Braiden(spelling) who stated it is «your opinion» when I told him that her actions are clearly a reflection of management. The«I don’t care» attitude has long been the mission statement for this drive in and it’s unfortunate to see what I consider an American staple and its customers be disrespected in such a grotesque manner.

Disgusting food! Tator tots are super, super greasy, fries are dry and old, chicken is dry, slushies aren’t even slushies! They’re more like crushed ice with flavor water! Yuck! I can go on all day. They never get the order right the first time and they take forever. Bunch of stupid teenagers who run the place and don’t even know how to «cook» the food correctly. Get a new manager and dump these so called employees.

This location has issues. I have patronized several Sonic locations for years, and know a good Mgr of one location, orders are not always done correctly. When you try to get the order corrected, it takes extra effort to get your order made right. This location needs help.

I have always loved Sonic. I had the Hot Fudge Cake Sunday and it was delish! What made it even better was the waitress(named Amy) roller skating over to our car! I love it when they do that!
