I have never seen anyone at this Subway put even the smallest amount of effort in to make me a sandwich properly. Everything is just slopped together with no attention to detail. Tomatoes always look horrible, and the staff just seem slow /bad /untrained to do their job correctly.

This location is ok but they always seem to be out of something when I go here. They have been out of tuna a few time and out of certain drinks other times. The staff is friendly enough but it gets very old hearing«oh… that, we are out of that». with a quick dismissal.

Came here after the gym because I was starving. The guys behind the counter threw my sandwich together like he was on a 5 second time limit with only two customers in the entire place, why the rush? By the time they wrapped up my sandwich it was falling apart and all over the place. I rewrapped my sandwich right in front of the cashier and he did not say one word or offer any help. I was obviously annoyed when I left. I won’t be back. There are too many sandwich places in Austin to deal with crap like that.

My first visit to a Subway shop and it was very disappointing. Only one unfriendly employee, a well worn atmosphere, tasteless food on a soggy wheat roll that was only slightly warmed. It was at noontime and there were only two other customers. That should have told me something.

Good sandwich but unfriendly service: borderline rude! Definitely won’t come back to this location.

Been here on several occasions around the same time 8−9pm, and they seem to always«miraculously» be out of meatballs around closing time. Not sure if its management /franchisee rules, or employees not waning to do meatballs because of clean up. Seems to be a trend at a few Subways these days.

I used to eat Subway a lot! When I started frequenting the one in circle C on my way to work, that changed. They have«been out of» my favorite item several times and today they weren’t even open during their listed business hours. Way to piss off a hungry pregnant chick.

We do not usually eat at Subways or another other sandwich place, but we needed to get sandwiches for a picnic. It was 9 am and was not even sure they were open, but they were and making sandwiches along with breakfast items. It was not busy and like any Subways we have been to they make their sandwiches very quickly, and then we were back on the road. The place is one of the nicest we have been to and very clean. The staff was nice and friendly and had not problems at all. We did not get to experience eating in there, so I do not know if they has things like free wifi. But the sandwich tasted very good.

The last three times i have been to this location they have been out of bread. the first two were at night with at least an hour before they closed. I vowed never to go back at night. then today it was at 2pm?!? how do you run a sandwich shop with no bread? Don’t waste your time going here.

It’s somewhat pointless for me to review a Subway because ultimately, you pick and choose how it’s made. But I don’t think the quality of the ingredients here is top notch. Their bread is really bleh and I don’t care for a sandwich that doesn’t hold a candle to the ones I can make at home or get elsewhere. Also, am I mistaken or is this the only chain that has various size fountain drinks but they charge 55 cents on refills for the smaller size? The only pleasurable experience here was seeing the elderly couple next to me unwrap a footlong, hold hands and pray before sharing it. It really warmed my heart to see that. If you are in the area and really need to stop to get something to eat before you fall over, I recommend you stop at the Central Market Deli inside the Circle C [Escarpment] HEB or drive East on Slaughter ’til you hit Which Wich. The key is to drive past this one. I’m even scared of sticking the leftovers in my compost bin. And yes, there were leftovers from a 6-inch sandwich!

I went in on a Tuesday night at 7:30. When I walked in, the employees told me they were out of bread and only had flat bread. No big deal. I’ll try the flat bread. When they finised with the other costumers, they came to take my order. The employee proceeded to tell me they did have one kind of bread left. Then she told me they didn’t have that bread. And then she told me the costumer before me got the last flatbread. So I left hungry and confused as to why there was no bread at Subway.

It’s easy to see how Jared lost all that weight, subways food sucks. Tried the breakfast combo they advertised and what we got was a sloppy, no taste piece of egg with stale toppings on a floppy muffin. The 15 second«toasting» they do is a joke. Plus they run out if coffee which is part of the combo and charge you extra to sub a small drink instead. Just reinforces my image of assembly line food made by people who have no idea what good food is.

I don’t go to Subway that often, but if I do I will definitely come to this one. Last time I went, the service was so nice! Both the woman who made my sandwiches and the cashier were personable, friendly, and just plain pleasant. Our sandwiches were tasty, and I left with a smile on my face

My Subway reviews are really just to tell vegetarians which locations have the morning star veggie patty option available, because not all locations stock them, and it’s really the only satisfying option available for vegetarians. so no veggie patty = bad review /veggie patty = good review. This location has the veggie patty. and pretty good customer service, too — employees are always friendly and efficient.

Staff is very helpful and the place is always clean. In and out in 10 minutes. Great for a quick lunch and the selections are great.

I’ve had two different experiences at this location, but both involved the same staff, so my rating reflects the last(and best) impression left. My first visit was to try the Meatball Sub off the $ 5 menu. The sandwich was just fine, but the service was peculiar. I hadn’t been to a Subway in years, and it took a minute to orient myself and get back to the routine. I was served by a young lady who was nice enough, but seemed anxious for me to move along. I could have understood this if there was a line but there was only one other person in the restaurant and she was ahead of me. Then, I got to the cashier, who I figured to be the manager, and just got this feeling of «why are you here?». But I kept a cheery disposition and went home to enjoy my sub. The second visit was by far better. It had only been a week since my previous visit, and there was only the manager behind the counter. This time I ordered the BLT. He seemed to recognize me as a repeat customer and upgraded the meager portion of bacon to a double for free. It was then I realized that he may not be very personable, but he does understand his customers’ satisfaction is important to his business. Scratch the first visit as a fluke; maybe ordering from the value menu on my first visit gave a certain signal. Four stars for turning a negative impression in to a positive one.
