I don’t even want to give this apartment complex one star. If I could give zero I would. The maintenance only comes weeks after you put in a request and when they do fix something it breaks the next day. The facilities have been locked to people on the new key system and after several attempts by numerous people to fix this morning has been done. Every week there is trash, vomit and other in recognizable piles in the hallway. The only way to get them cleaned is to call and request emergency housekeeping. DONOTLIVEHERE. There are other places in west campus for the same prince but you will be treated like an actual tenant. I will post pictures of the most recent hallway endemics and they aren’t for the faint hearted. Be warned.

Worst experience ever. Management tried ripping us off and making us pay a key we had turned in. They threatened to send us over to the collection agency if we didn’t pay. Called repeatedly to get the charge off and they would say they would but still wouldn’t(we showed them the receipt which showed we turned in the key). It’s like they were trying to set us up. Don’t move here unless you want live in a shit hole with shitty management. Don’t know how this apartment complex is still running. Wouldn’t even let us get rid of our parking spot our room mate signed up for when our room mate moved out. So yes we were paying an extra 100 for a blank parking lot

The Block is pretty much the worst apartment complex on campus for a rent that isn’t cheaper than anywhere else. Although the building is disgusting, the rooms themselves are pretty much fine. My biggest complaint is with the management. They have no idea what they’re talking about ever. They were constantly rejecting my rent, were impossible to communicate with, never picked up their phones, etc. Anytime I went there to ask a question, they would direct me to the book keeper who apparently didn’t exist because I never got a call back. I can’t even explain my frustration with the management in this place. Additionally, a lot of the rooms are right on top of the garbage chute(which you won’t know until you move in) and you get woken up every morning at 6 a.m. by trucks banging on your windows. My key never worked and of course no one could ever help me get a working one. They rarely lock the doors to the gym or the garage, so you have to be careful. I can’t wait to move out of this building and can’t believe for close to $ 1,000/month that THIS is what I live in.

Terrible, horrible and a rip off. They closed down all the gyms in each building with a weeks notice and changed them to study rooms. The elevators are ALWAYS broken. They don’t care about anything, the place is a wreck and they charge more than other apartments. Don’t live here. Moving out next semester YAH!

Terrible, terrible management. BOTH elevators in the building haven’t worked for over a month and management refuses to even care. When we called they snapped back at us and told us they were working on it. Oh and they had a water leak and put the extra water consumption on our bill.
