First of all, the apartments are overpriced. I am paying $ 1200 for an unlimited meal plan ($ 250) and then $ 950 for rent for a one bedroom one bathroom apartment that I am sharing with my roommate. My roommate pays the same price as well, we don’t get to split the price.
Second of all, for the first month’s rent. I have to pay the rent for August by August 1 and then pay again September 1 and IT’S THE SAME PRICE. I don’t move in until August 22nd but I’m still paying $ 1200 for 3 weeks that I’m not living in the apartment?! And if I want to move in a week early I have to pay an extra $ 300?! Where is the logic in that. You are renting out to college students that are coming from out of city looking for a place to stay and are going to be very broke as it is and you rip them off $ 1200 for three weeks they are not staying in the apartment.
I wouldn’t be as upset if the rent was a lot cheaper but I was interested in this place because it had a meal plan and looked clean. But clearly the logic in the management of these apartments aren’t right.
