The food was fresh and tasted great! I would definitely recommend this establishment when in the Austin area.

Awesome, tasty, and fresh fish tacos! I had the ahi tuna and my friend had the grouper poboy, and even though the service is fast, its definitely not«fast food». I will definitely be back! The hushpuppies and sweet potato fries were also really tasty.

We had the Alaskan Cod Poboy — the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Cilantro Fries were it really anything special — literally fries with chopped cilantro on top. The prices look high, but you seriously pay for what you get. The poboys are huge, and the tartar sauce is unique and a great addition to the sandwiches.

We got the cod plate and added a side of hush puppies and it was really good. The hush puppies especially were extremely good. The right amount of jalapeño and a crunchy exterior. The cod was white and flaky, and there are 2 sizable filets offered. The coleslaw is offered on a bed of greens and spinach, and you get cocktail sauce, tartar sauce and lime on the side. The people are super friendly!

This is like my umpteenth time eating at the truck. SO. GOOD. The portions are beyond generous. You can tell that the fish and ingredients are super fresh and high quality. I usually get whatever the staff recommends that day. They even have SUSHIGRADE Tuna — melts in your mouth! The staff is super nice and really knowledgeable about their offerings, then instead of shouting your name like a normal truck they go the extra mile to walk your meal over to your table. Bonus info: the tortillas are thick and crispy. They don’t fall apart — and they’re seasoned! Mmmm.

Turf and surf always has been a great spot to go and have some really good seafood without having to make a reservation and go to some fancy restaurant. It is a great spot all year round to take someone visiting Austin wanting to experience the food truck scene. It’s a bit pricy but food is on point.

The pro: the shrimp po-boy was a fresh tasty sandwich. The cons: it most definitely was NOT po-boy, it was $ 17, and it had four fried shrimp on it. All in all, pretty disappointing.

When all of the vendors at this food truck park were out of gluten free options, turf n’ surf came through. My catfish salad was SO good. The blackened fish was seasoned perfectly, the veggies were fresh, the salad dressing was tangy. I saved half my fish and ate it for lunch the next day– still as good. Also — Sweet potato fries = YUM and great portion for the price. So worth a visit. The $ may be high, but its worth it.

Usually good, but when you totally skip me and go to the next people in line… super rude. And act rude about it on top of it. Good job!

Good grief their portions are huge! I got the chicken tender basket and my BFF got the catfish basket. If im being honest, the food was just«meh». The fish wasn’t crunchy like I like it and my tenders lacked seasoning. The sauce on the side added a little bit but it just wasn’t enough. The guy was super nice too and accommodating so I feel bad for putting a mediocre rating.

Tacos are great. Fresh seafood done right. I’m not so sure about the whole grain bread for Po Boy. Not that I’m stuck with the traditional version. The whole grain bread just doesn’t work.

Perfect fish tacos. Get the blackened snapper! Blackened shrimp was also very good. Beautiful tortillas, served with a cilantro ranch that is surprisingly light and compliments the fish well. Po-boy was good, but served on whole wheat bread which wasn’t quite the classic texture I craved. Everything was very fresh, outside area was clean, and the people were friendly. Great spot!

YUM! We both got blackened catfish tacos and they were huge and amazing! Probably could have split them they were so big! It was $ 26 for 2 tacos for each of us and 1 drink so yes, a bit on the $$ side, but very very good! We will be back

The items are kinda pricey, but it’s worth it. My husband and I split the fried catfish basket. It came with 2 huge fillets, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and several dipping sauces. I think the total might have been $ 26(we bought a bottled tea too).

Fan-friggin-tastic!!! To start, the people that work here are so nice and patient. We were overwhelmed with the huge selection of seafood and they were more than happy to help us decide. Between a family of four, we ordered the grilled shrimp basket, fried crawfish basket, blackened crawfish basket, and blackened redfish tacos. For sides with the baskets we got the jalapeño hush puppies and the Cajun corn. They also came with some slaw. Basically all you need to know was everything was excellent. The portions are HUGE, but it was so good that we killed everything. Some of the best crawfish I’ve ever had. Eat some.

I was overwhelmed with all of the protein options! You can get your meat grilled, fried, or blackened and as a poboy, taco, or salad. We ended up getting the blackened ahi tuna(cooked medium rare) and fried oyster poboys. The size was perfect, and it was stuffed with seafood. The ahi poboy had a nice, thick steak in it. It was supposed to be blackened, but the flavor was pretty mild and not spicy at all. The steak was cooked a little past medium rare but was still very good. I liked the fried oysters poboy better, because the oysters were fried perfectly, yet you could still tell they were very fresh. I’m not sure I would call these sandwiches a poboy though. They were served on good sandwich bread, but it definitely wasn’t French bread and didn’t have that crusty exterior. Note that the prices are pretty steep– the tuna was $ 15 and oyster was $ 13. This location is a food stand in a food stand/truck park. Lots of picnic bench seating available and even a bathroom. There’s also a parking lot.

Blackened tilapia tacos actually had a whole giant fillet in each taco. And it was so stuffed that its impossible to eat this thing lady-like! Sooo delicious though. The jalapeño hush puppies are also addictive, which is surprising considering I’ve never been a fan of hush puppies. My fiancé got the blackened crawfish po boy, which he liked. Good food, nice environment, but a bit pricy for what you get.

GOODSTUFF! My cod taco was stuffed with fresh cod, perfectly blackened to order. French fries were crispy and addicting! The menu had lots of options on protein, po boy/taco/salad, and preparation(fried/grilled/blackened). The guy taking orders was helpful and patient as we were mesmerized by all the options on the menu. Go here on a nice day. On a not-nice day, don’t come here. Go to their Lavaca Street B&M!

Great, fresh seafood salads, po’ boys and tacos. They charge a bit more than another food truck might, but the food is great and the seafood is fresh. The salad is also amazing with fresh greens, tomato and other veggies. A small amount of the salad comes on the tacos too. All the fish can be grilled or fried and the grilled can be either blackened(spicy) or just normally grilled. They will be happy to recommend the best method or cooking and serving for each fish. I haven’t gone wrong listening to them yet. The new location is awesome with lots of other trucks to get a sampling of things, plenty of parking and shade to boot.
