This is more consistent than the hancock location. Usually quick, friendly staff. Bathrooms are usually clean. Parking no problem. A few weirdos from the plasma place across the street so lock your car.

Wow! Just wow! The best ice cream I’ve had in Austin. I had to ask what the«frosty’ was but once they explained it I understood and once I ate it I was HOOKED! They gave us plenty of napkins to wipe the mayonnaise off our grilled chicken sandwiches too which was courteous. their spoons even had their logo and name on them! Still can’t get over the frostey. Really hit the spot as my son said. Parking lot was a little confusing, took a few times of driving in the wrong direction to figure it out but it was worth it

Definitely the top Wendy’s in Austin. Not for the food but for the attitude of the workers. I came here after the remodel and found all the workers happy and friendly. They even bring your order to your table now! Even though the cashier Kayla made a small mistake wth my order m, when I brought the burger back to be remade she specifically came to the table and told me exactly what had happened and that she was sorry. She also offered to get me more fries if they had gotten cold. Everyone seems real sweet here and super customer friendly.

I like this Wendys, but it is tough to get back on Airport Blvd. westbound if there’s any traffic. It is convenient to go east on Airport or to get on Koenig lane from there. One of my favorite fast food treats is french fries dipped in a Wendys frosty. The salty and sweet and hot and cold combinations are fantastic, I highly recommend trying it if you haven’t had the pleasure. This location gets busy at lunch, but the drive thru usually moves pretty fast. There seems to be a lot of take out business too. I’ve always gotten a hot and fresh order from here and there haven’t been any mistakes on my orders(hope I didn’t jinx it). I recommend this Wendys if you’re hankering for a burger, salad or just some chili and baked potato. Don’t forget to try the fries and frosty…;)

This Wendy’s can get ridiculous around lunch time! Avoid it if you can or are in a hurry. I decided to get off because the drive-thru was packed. I think it took longer inside. The cashiers seem to be a little overwhelmed even though they have a manager helping them out. It just seems a little chaotic behind the counter. I’ve worked fast food and I know how rushes get. In my opinion it is mostly due to the patron volume vs the staff preparation space. This Wendy’s seems set up to handle a lot less traffic than it gets. I am sure during non rush moments, they function just fine in that small space. The food that I have gotten here seems like normal Wendy’s fast food. No issues there. If they make their work area larger, they will be able to better serve everyone on both drive-thru and walk-in in a more timely manner.

The Airport Blvd @ Hwy 290⁄2222 Wendy’s is my second favorite Wendy’s in Austin. Its old location a little further north on Airport Blvd was the best Wendy’s ever, due to the unusually-fast service. The service here is still very fast and there’s only like a minute’s wait for my food to be ready. The food is tasty for American food standards and also very cheap. There is a value menu of $ 0.99 items that I hope to explore someday. I always park and order inside because the line of cars at the drive-through during the weekday lunch hour is quite long – maybe 10 cars or so and stretches around the building. The cashier who handled my past orders is a man with a friendly smile and a good memory named Neftali. He offered me a water cup, even though I didn’t ask for one.(Due to my upbringing by frugal Taiwanese parents, I rarely order drinks at restaurants.) The tables and condiment areas are always clean. The furniture and store interior is still new and modern(though not as relaxing as the Parmer @ Mopac Wendy’s). The Wendy’s parking lot is large and easily-navigable. I might take off half a star because getting out onto Airport Blvd to go north might require a lengthy wait for the lanes on the busy Airport Blvd near the major intersection to be free. To avoid that, I drive a little north behind the Hoover’s office building to exit from a different parking lot onto Airport Blvd. My coworkers used to like to come here to get a Frosty during breaktime.

I have to say that Wendy’s is my favorite of all fast food restaurants! This location is conveniently on my route to work and it was so hot I just needed a frosty! I had the Asiago Ranch Club with spicy chicken filet on it, fries, fountain drink and a frosty! The chicken and bread were fresh and tasty. I felt like the lettuce and tomato were mooshy on top and they definitely didn’t give enough of the dressing on the sandwich. The fries were not super warm so, I am sure they were under the warming light for a hot minute. The frosty was great as usual! I also ordered a Caesar side salad to go for dinner and it was good. I thought they served it with croutons however, I didn’t have any in my bag. The dressing for the salad was probably one of the better flavor wise that I have had at a fast food restaurant. I don’t remember them having this brand of dressing prior to my visit this time. The salad was a decent size but, lacked a good amount of toppings. I had 2 pieces of cheese and would have liked to have seen more on it. As the heat of summer hits I am sure I will be back for another frosty!

This Wendy’s is AOK. My last experience here at this location was poor with cold food, and Wendy’s made this visit a good experience. Hot, fast food.

Employee’s are rude and basically do what they want and talk about customers after they turn to walk away, especially if you had to have them correct an order. They got our order wrong and we even repeated it twice… but was still wrong. No cutlery to eat the food with. Requested condiments left out of bag. I ordered spicy caesar sald with lemon caesar dressing. It comes with two packets for the dressing. They gave me one lemon caesar and one ranch dressing. Sure, I’ve complained using their survey method but nothing gets better. This Wendy’s doesn’t appear to have a management chain because these employees are driving this place into the ground!

For a fast food burger, Wendy’s is A-OK. Honestly, I think Jack in the Box might be slightly better, but here’s where Wendy’s beats every fast food chain hands down — the speed in which they can provide a meal cooked to order. Granted, I’m a fast eater, but I was in and out of this location in under 20 minutes. When time is short(especially when running errands during lunch), this is a great lunch option.

This place is ok… the employee’s are a bit lost and basically do what they want and talk on the head sets about people but of course you can’t hear because it is on their ear. You just hear other employee’s telling them to be quiet. got our order wrong and we even repeated it twice… but was still wrong. they are fast at making the food. «Minimum wage for a maximum loser» — from the movie hot chick

Kind of ghetto, but the inside looks nicer than most other places I’ve visited in the area. Many patrons don’t have the decency to pick up their trash after themselves though. Yes, there is a drive thru, and yes, they do serve Frosties.

It’s fast food, what do you expect right? The answer is better. This is the second time I’ve been here and it wasn’t much better than the first although this time the fries were actually cooked. I think this place has a policy against giving receipts as both times I’ve had to ask, once was met with attitude about it. I feel as though I am just cattle being led through the place. Both times nobody said hello, both times they just stared at me instead of asking what I wanted, and both times they failed to give a receipt. Simply put, the customer service here stinks! The place is neat although I wouldn’t say clean, the ketchup was empty both times I was there and the were a few dirty tables waiting to greet me in the dining area… awesome. The food… like I said, it’s fast food, what do you expect? It’s ok. The refills are a pain up get to because they are behind the counter and you have to wait till someone cares enough to help you. The first visit was convenience, the second was a courtesy, and I can say there will not be a third until the management makes some changes. Food — 3 stars(C’mon, it’s fast food) Cleanliness — 2 stars Value — 3 stars(didn’t realize how expensive a burger and fries had gotten) Service — 0 stars! Overall— 2 Stars
