For a fast food stand, this place rocks.
The bacon cheeseburger was cooked to order and was huge, fresh and delicious.
The cheese fries were good, too, and we got a ton of them. I also tried a bite of the corn dog and it was great, but you really cannot screw up a corn dog.
Everything was super fresh and super quick. Nothing is cheap on the island but for a nice change of pace that won’t break the bank, I would happily eat here again.

My Cheeseburger and Jackie’s Burger were delicious! Very tasty fries too. They give you so many fries two people can easily share one order of them. We found this out after ordering two. Lots of leftover fries. A favorite of locals and young people. I’d definitely eat here again on a return visit to Catalina, and another craving for burgers.

I stopped in to grab something to eat after drinking and bowling with my fiancé and was happy with my chili dog and fries. The hot dog my guy got was good too. Just simple quick food to soak up beer in your tummy!!! Lol The guy at the window was nice enough to give me extra peppers on the side! Plus it was cheap!!!

Yummmm. The fish and chips are so bomb. It’s simple, but prob one of the best that I’ve had. My sister got the veggie burger and she said it was pretty good too. Definitely a great little gem here.

I absolutely loved this place because it was about the only thing I could eat (apart from mr. nings) when I got incredibly sea sick from my boat trip to Catalina.
I loved this place so much that I ate here 3 times in a one day stay. I saw many people who were worn out from the (rocky) boat ride that ended up here, sat down at the tables, and slowly munching away.
This isn’t gourmet foods or exquisite by any means, but it’s good solid food that you can chow down quickly or slowly pick at. The chili cheese fries are of good portions for yourself or to share and the corn dog is your typical corn dog from the store.
This place is cash only, service is good, quick, and it’s made to order. Perhaps when I’m feeling 100% I wouldn’t of loved this place as much, but looking back… This place was and is awesome.

This place is sooooo good went here three times on my stay here and service was fast and people are friendly food is bomb!!! Can’t say one bad thing and good prices especially being around expensive restaurants… A must go place

Coney Island West serves up American food like burgers and hot dogs. You come up to the window to order and wait to be called to pick up your food. Since it was such a casual eating place, I didn’t expect much when I ordered breakfast muffins. I had mine with egg, bacon and cheese. Their breakfast sandwiches are so tasty! Unlike other breakfast spots I’ve gone to on the mainland, they fry their eggs on the griddle instead of cooking eggs in the microwave. Very inexpensive too, so this place is perfect for a quick, casual bite! We took our sandwiches and sat on a bench facing the beautiful, deep-​blue sea.

Honestly probably the best food we had on the island, no joke.
We shared a chili cheese dog & fries for $ 7. (It’s cash only & that’s the only cash we had haha). The fries were crispy & had a yummy seasoning salt & the chili dog was delicious!
All the other food on the island is SO overpriced for what it is and this place was not.

Pretty average fast food for the mainland, but for Catalina it was above average.
Their French fries rock, but other than that it’s your typical fast food joint with a beer license.

We must agree. I took my bf here on our first lunch. Shared an order of fries, a small coke, and a bacon burger for $ 10.

I think this place is the cheapest in the island.
For the price of 8 dollars total. I got a bacon hotdog with fries and a drink.
There is place to sit and eat.
I guess this place is great for quick to go.
Their quality is okay.

Ehhh, burger was fine. Chilli cheese fries, fine — typical snack shack liquid cheese smeared on top. Priced a bit too high for what you get. I know it’s an island but sheesh, 6 dollars for a meek looking burger? Also, the people working here could do with a smile and a «have a good day» — at least say thanks.
Avalon, get an In-​N-​Out for the love of God.

And had a feast!!! Fries were crispy and salted just right. The milkshake was thick and gone in minutes. If you’re looking for a good burger, quick service and a fun outdoorsy stand sort of feel place – this is the place to go on the island!
