Lunch on our Second Day stay. It was okay, good Spaghetti. It was Papa’s order and we love it. Bread was a forgettable since I don’t remember how it was. Mom got Caesar Salad which I didn’t taste so I have no idea how it is but she almost finish it so that’s a good think I guess. I got pizza one topping with chicken and I like pizzas but the chicken wasn’t really good therefore the combination with the pizza was not the best. But I ate two slices since I was hungry and pizza itself was okay.

If I could have given half a star I would. The service seriously sucks here. This server acted like he hadn’t seen this customer since he was 9 months old. When he finally stopped talking, he walked right past me and never bothered to ask if I wanted something to drink. When he finally came back I ordered a drink and food. I ordered the house special spaghetti. Why is this a house special? It’s horrible. I actually wanted another drink but once again, this clown walked right past my empty cup and not once asked if I wanted another. Never again!!!

If looking for outdoor, on the water dining, this is in our top 2 of Avalon. The outdoor seating on the water is the best of this restaurant’s experience! If you sit on the back side, outside, you are away from all the street noise and it’s super relaxing. Our food was okay, though we’d go back as frozen drinks are $ 10, lots of desserts to choose from and there’s an extensive menu.

Great service, great food & good prices and fun to throw peanuts on the floor. We stayed on the isand and went there several times because it was the best place we found there.

We had been here a few years back and had liked the experience so went again this time. The best part of the restaurant is the views as you sit right next to the marina. The experience this time was not very pleasant. We were there during Sunday lunch time and it was practically empty. The food was not very good and not worth the price they charge. We are vegetarian so had ordered zuchhini fires and a pasta. The zucchini fries was not very good and wished we had ordered french fries. The pasta was strictly ok. The lady serving us had a grumpy look and not really helpful.

This place was sooooo good. This was the first place I ate in Catalina and it was by far my favorite place we ate at over the next three days. The menu was huge and I wanted everything they offered, but we settled and got chili cheese fries and a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza to share. I highly recommend the chili cheese fries, they are SO good! Probably the best ones I’ve ever had. The pizza was also really good. It was messy so we had to eat it with forks and knifes, and it was even better the second time around whenever we got to toast it up on a skillet. So yummy! I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for some good, fattening food.

Don’t go here! Order to go. The music and smell of propane was bad enough to ruin a meal. The pizza was great. But the restaurant was empty and I know why. The 50’s music was so annoying. There are some good 50’s songs but they are not played here. Plus due to not having natural gas they use propane to cook. The small was like sternos at Circus Circus.

Service is ok. Food wise: 1. Aspergillus flavus. Yap. It is the fungus that grows in rotten peanut/corn, which gives the«rotten» tastes, i.e., the rotten peanut itself does not taste rotten, it is this happily growing pathogenic fungus you are tasting. In mammal(like us human), this pathogen is known cause liver cancer. So Bravo, Antonio to give us that as a «treat»! 2. Shrimp stinks. Please, I love to eat raw shrimps and buy them from downtown fish market alongside sushi chefs, so save your lecture on «shrimps are always like that». Their shrimps are so from a bag. In fact, they most likely had been sitting a long time in a bag so that the bag becomes part of the shrimp — I got two pieces of plastics in my mouth. I had to return this dish, which at least they let me to their credit. 3. Fettuccine Alfredo. Where do i start? I typically never order this dish, i suppose no real Italian(from Italy) does. But after experiencing pathogen and bag-aged shrimps, I made the choice to order this stable American Italian dish, which our Bronx«Italians»(whose great great great great great grandparent were from the actual Italy) could be happy for me. Well, at least Bronx or Brooklyn Italians do a good job in Fettuccine Alfredo. Here in Antonio’s, they even manage to make that impossible to eat — how was this possible? I recommend the staffs in this place take an extended trip to NYC, to learn some proper Italian American food. I am not even talking about real Italian food.

I’ve read a lot of reviews about this place and I think most of them either didn’t read about the drought or what but they use the paper plates and plastic cups to reduce water usage. We ordered an antipasto salad and a large combo pizza all of it was very tasty our server was attentive and super nice. We will be back for sure!

I was pretty disappointed in Antonios today. I had been diving all day and the idea of a big cheeseburger and boozy drink was keeping me motivated all day. But my order was so messed up here I might as well not have tried. The burger was the wrong one, much smaller, she put thousand islands on it instead of mayo, the ranch tasted terrible and the whole burger was just bland as crap! The daiquiri looked pretty, but it was really watery and didn’t have even a hint of booze!!! I was so disappointed! At least the service was fast so I could get out quickly! Beautiful location, and convenient, but if u want good food keep walking down the beach front. Not even worth half the price I paid!

This was our first and only restaurant stop here in touristy Catalina Island. By looking at their menu, they offer a variety of stuff through out the day. From pizzas, burgers, seafood, subs, steaks, the list just goes on. I wanted to try their traditional specials for lunch. So, I went with their Margherita Pizza in small $ 12.75. When it was served, already looking at it, it wasn’t going to be all that good, and after having a bite my taste buds were dead right. It’s thin crust and it had lots of mozzarella cheese which I liked, you can barely see the end crust because of it. The red sauce tasted okay. The tomato and basil toppings appeared to be put on at the last minute of cook. The quality wasn’t there and for that price? I wouldn’t suggest this one. The wife had their house special called Mamma Mia’s Day Old Spaghetti $ 15.95. Its spaghetti and meatballs in aged sauce, sautéed in olive oil, butter, garlic, onions, mushrooms, baked and topped with mozzarella and jack cheese. This one was simply, rich, cheesy and meaty. I’m glad it wasn’t a 15 day old spaghetti, but It was really good! Also, it’s served with garlic bread. The sautéed toppings did brought out the flavor. This one was a better choice. Really good family atmosphere, and the restaurant is spacious to take on larger groups. The coolest thing about Antonio’s is having patio seating on the waterfront while dining. Other than that, everything is A-OK.

Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. I got a pizza with pineapple, Canadian bacon, and jalapeños(really hot ones I gotta say) and it was pretty good. My girlfriend got a burger with bacon, the bacon was amazing. What I loved about this place was sitting outside on the water looking over the harbor. 5 stars for that

Had dinner here late Sunday night. We were first seated on the patio but the area was empty and felt we might not get good service being outside when all the inside seating had more people. Sat near a stage, we eventually were greeted by a man telling us the actual server will arrive shortly and assist us with our food order but he can bring our drink orders while we wait. Got our drinks and waited some more. Eventually George assisted us with our food order. Ordered their combination small pizza, Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and Meat Lasagna. Once the food arrived we didn’t have silverware and waited for George to walk by, he said sorry but he was use to the Mexican restaurant where he works at were silverware was already placed at the table… Ok The Fettuccine Alfredo was alright, chicken was ok, not grilled, the Fettuccine was tender. The lasagna wasn’t bad either but needed something just like my alfredo did, bland tasting plates. Now as for the pizza it was ok, was not great, passable really. Enjoyed my meal of course but expected better tasting food for what I spent here.

This place also does breakfast. It’s one of the less crowded breakfast spots in Avalon on Catalina Island. It’s got a cute décor. And they have an outdoor deck, which was a wonderful spot for breakfast. The service was fine enough. The host was a small child who clearly would’ve preferred to be doing something else with his day off school. There were several breakfast options on the menu, including omelettes and french toast. We opted to share the Catalina omelette, which was a veggie omelette with hollandaise sauce. It came with hashbrowns and toast. It was sizable and enough to share. They have bloody marys and mimosas for $ 9 each. There’s refillable coffee for $ 3. Prices are a bit high and service wasn’t outstanding, but it was a tasty omelette with a nice view.

I ordered the combination pizza because I was hungry, it was late, and this place was open. The fiancée and I were craving something filling, so we ordered a whole pie to go. The whole pie satisfies two people so it was perfect for us :) We ordered to go and the place apparently makes it all fresh(save for the dough) so the pizza took a while — no matter, we shopped around as we waited for the pizza to finish. The pizza was pretty delicious. Thick crust, yet a crispy bottom, tons of toppings, and very cheesy cheese. It was the perfect late night snack that we were craving and apparently it’s very well known by the locals too. There are a couple of them around Avalon(I think), so if you’re looking for something pretty fast, avoid here. But otherwise, if you’re in the mood for some pizza, then you won’t go wrong eating here. Very popular with the locals too, but the locals are limited to whatever’s on the island, so take it for what it’s worth. TL;DR Good pizza. Maybe Avalon’s only pizza.

A small pizza definitely was enough for 2 people! We ordered a combination pizza togo. Initially, we didn’t think it would be enough for the two of us but because the crust is thick, the pizza satisfied both of us! What a wonderful little pizza place. You can tell it’s good because the locals come here! I highly recommend you stop by for a pizza pie for dinner or lunch.
