Just your average mom and pop shop breakfast place where the placemats are the menus, the coffee mugs are tiny and cute and the food is traditionally good. Seems like a place I’d go to again. Their buttermilk pancakes were delish!

The trifecta. Bad service. Overpriced. And lackluster food. Undercooked pancakes, empty cups of coffee, limp bacon, overrun with teenage staff.

Really good pancakes and great service. The butter is really good here haha. Spongy pancakes that are soft and delicious. Uncle Bill himself visited our table and it was awesome. It’s rare to see Bill out of the kitchen

Exactly how I remember it! Quick and efficient service. They sat 6 of us in a large booth. Meals were large enough to share. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancakes are delicious! Adults and kids were happy and full!

We came on a Tuesday morning in June. Breakfast was good, our server was really nice. Service was quick. They are a bit pricey, but really, what’s not pricey down the shore?

Great food. Very slow service though. Pancakes were delicious. Overall, it was worth the wait.

I am so over this place. $ 100 with tip for 6 guys ordering eggs, pancakes and shitty coffee. French pancakes sound delicious with strawberry preserves, right? 3 thin and bone dry pancakes show up with powdered sugar and two packets of Smuckers strawberry packets… how the heck does that sound? For $ 7.25. What a joke. Take the minor detour and go to Court House Diner Family Restaurant.

Went there Friday morning with my two sons. Overpriced and not very good. Usually when one orders eggs, home fries come with it. Not here, cha Ching, extra. $ 42 for the three of us.

The two star rating is simply because if you’re hungry it’ll get the job done and a fast transaction because they move long lines quick. The waitress was friendly giving the accumulative 10 seconds that I seen her. The food models their service, eat and go. Nothing for you to soak in and enjoy I ordered eggs over easy only yolk runny the egg itself was hard, bacon crispy and dry like it was cooked under a heat lamp and home fries were the most disgusting thing ever pretty much deep fried over done tater tots renamed as «home fries». The staple of their being«pancakes» was nothing at all special or edible without a cup of whipped butter and mounds of syrup as you can see from the picture it was barely browned or cooked for that matter I wouldn’t try anything again from here rather just have a pastry and coffee from one of the mom and pop coffee shops.

Excellent breakfast spot. We had four breakfast for the family and everyone was happy. Lots of sharing and tasting. All of the pancakes were outstanding but the pataoe pancakes were something special. Nice service and we would definitely come back again.

I’ve been in Avalon for the summer for 20 years and this place ALWAYS has a line on the weekends. Word to the wise-try it on any day other than saturday or Sunday and you’re fine. The servers are mostly young high school/college kids who hustle to turn over tables and earn their tips. The service is quick and the bacon is crispy. What more could you ask for? This morning(Monday) we both got omelettes which were delicious. This is the place to go if you prefer your eggs to be thinner versus fluffy.

Hype, Hype, Hype! I have been coming to Avalon for 30 years. Everytime I go past the one either in Avalon or Stone Harbor, the lines are way to long. It is only breakfast and mediocre if that. Portions are small and overpriced. The last time I ate there was almost 10 years ago. I vowed to never return and haven’t. They have a name… but that is it. Don’t waste time and money.

You gotta love Uncle Bill’s Pancake House. Its just a classic breakfast spot in Avalon. They continue to deliver a consistant product and service.

Early morning chaos in this local staple. They flip tables like they flip pancakes — super fu**ing fast. You’re not going to get world class service, since every server is a teenage girl who’d rather be doing something else besides work on a Sat/Sun morning. The food, however, is very solid and filling. The go-tos that you’d expect at any breakfast spot are all here: pancakes, waffles, home fries, etc. and they’re all delicious. Nothing fancy, just good morning fuel. Cash only, though! Enjoy
