Stopped here to get some sandwiches for a picnic. Nice variety on their menu, and lots of gourmet sides, chips, beverages, etc. I got a simple turkey on rye that was delicious — the bread was so fresh, it tasted like it was just out of the oven. You order at the counter & pay then, so if you want beverages, etc., get them first so you can pay for everything at once.
And contrary to some other reviews, the people working here were very nice.

They get one star as the employees were friendly. The breakfast was horrible! By far the worst eggs, bacon and potatoes. The eggs were rubbered textured, the bacon was not fully cooked and the potatoes were cooked with onion but you literally got black burnt pieces. The French toast was the blanded bs I’ve ever had and the hardest butter I’ve ever had. Were do these great reviews come from?!

Woodstone Marketplace has a serene patio and a really good seared Ahi Salad; yummy side sauces too. I understand the pizzas are great, but I have never had one. The ordering system is frustratingly slow at times. You order at the register, which is where many people first get a glimpse of the menu, so if you want to buy a bottle of water say for walking down the adjacent Bob Jones trail you literally might have to wait fifteen minutes for the three people in line ahead of you to decide. order and pay. There are quite a few oddities to purchase from the ‘marketplace’ — it is a great place to go if you need an LED lantern or have an emergency need for crisco.

Grabbed coffee, Advil, and ham quiche for a hangover cure. They had an atm which was convenient as well. The staff was nice to me and patient while I tried to decide what to order. I would definitely drop by again.

This is one of our favorite stops for food when we are in the area. The pizza can’t be beat and the cranberry turkey sandwich is wonderful.
I gave Woodstone 3 stars due to the poor attitudes and unfriendly counter staff we have encountered each time we have visited, and as recently as yesterday. They seem so unhappy and bothered by questions and orders. Perhaps these unhappy employees are better suited for a different position away from the front lines «greeting» customers, or somewhere else altogether. Woodstone is always busy, but I wonder how much busier it would be with pleasant staff.

This review pertains to Avila Village Inn guests who have complimentary breakfast vouchers. Guests from Avila Village Inn will find Woodstone Market workers are frazzled with the increase in breakfast business from hotel guests. Where is their motive to work harder for little, if any, increase in compensation? Breakfast was left sitting on counter & served cold two mornings in a row. Amber, one of the servers, loudly complaining of having to train a new «girl», but doing nothing to help her. Only when we complained of food temperature did the bully Amber actually start working the tables.
We love Avila Village Inn and hope they go back to their previous method of serving breakfast at the hotel. We don’t want to go to Woodstone Market for breakfast again, unless there is nothing else open. It is a cute market, but service is lacking.

and helpful, a truly eclectic experience ! The outdoor patio is an enjoyment of the
natural beauty of Vilma Beach. Definitely a must go.

Had the worst time of are vacation at this place. Thanks to the morning girl Amber. She has to be the worst person they could have working and the rudest I have ever met in this area. If you are looking for some nice place to eat with good people. Don’t come here. unless they get a new staff. Amber you sick.

Excellent local reputation for relaxing and enjoying good food. My sandwich was recommended and the choice was four star delicious.
I enjoyed a turkey-​cranberry on soft bun along with handcrafted cranberry relish, cheddar cheese, greens, and tomato. Each bite was refreshing with enough mayonnaise to satisfy but not overwhelming other sandwich ingredients.
Staff was hospitable especially Dana who was engaging and cared about customer experience. I connected with Woodstone’s choice of music precisely fit for an after lunch crowd.
Overall, recommended experience when in Avila Beach near Avila Bay Athletic Club.

3.5. Depends on what you get. The pizzas are insane. If everything were like the pizza I’d mark this a 5. Many of the dishes are good but not spectacular. Absolutely beautiful area and location. Right on the Bob Jones trail.

My wife, kids, and I UBered here from the local KOA while on vacation. Such polite service and amazing food! We also purchased a bottle of wine from their refrigerator, they uncorked it and supplied us a couple glasses as well. There was no corkage fee either. Sat outside and enjoyed the chirping of some small birds. I recommend the Tri-​Tip sandwich

This a great lunch place offering a variety of menu items. I really enjoyed The Italiano sandwich. My husband had the tritip sandwich (shredded, not sliced meat). Each was served with a pasta salad based in an Italian type dressing.
The outdoor seating was wonderful and accommodated two strollers.
We will definitely return when in the area!

We just moved to See Canyon and were looking for a close market to get some bacon for our Sunday breakfast. We stopped in to see if they sell bacon. They cut us some from their stock! This looks like a great place to stop in for breakfast for to pick up goodies. They are very friendly and helpful, especially with our odd request. They didn’t bat an eyelash and quickly said yes we can get you bacon!

This is a wonderful little place on the way into Avila beach. We have been coming here for years when we stay here. The food is made fresh daily and it’s wonderful service. They have a great little store and an amazing wine selection too.

Finally made it here for Sandabs. Service was fast and friendly.
Sandabs are a delicate fish. Woodside dips them in an egg wash and frys them on a grill. The egg wash overpowered the taste of the sandab. What it really needed was a lemon butter caper sauce. Mixed vegetables and rice were delicious.
Overall, not bad but I have had dabs that just melt in your mouth leaving u craving the next bite. This dinner was good for all the senior citizens that were there, but not for me.

This review is based on the service at Woodstone. The manager there (a brown haired petite woman) is so rude and miserable. What is her problem? The waitress working there (blonde) is constantly apologizing for what the manager says. Anything you ask the manager the answer is «no» or that she will charge extra. Also, she always has a scowl on her face and seems annoyed you are bothering her. They need to replace this woman! The food is fine but the service is the worst in the five cities area. I plan to never go back unless I hear the manager is gone.
