This swanky(in its own mind) establishment gets an A+ for friendlier service than its had in years, and the limited menu has been slightly expanded, but the severe problem I have with the Beach House is during each and EVERY(4) visit during the last 2 months has had the«kitchen» mess up. At least that’s what the servers blame. Always missing or very late delivery of items like 3 of 4 of us get the entrees or apps and 1 gets to wait an additional 25 min. Like the item was simply forgotten. Regardless if its been a table of six and 3 out of 7 small plates get«forgotten» or the kitchen was«overwhelmed» or if it was just me at the bar and I’m drinking a $ 12 martini and 1 single street taco, I hear the same excuses time and time again — like the kitchen had to cook for their other Resturant, The Manor House, next door which shares the same kitchen, so your order was not a priority. Clearly the food management at this(the Beach House) establishment is not the priority. I rate that a fat 0. I rate the food itself a 3.5 and service a 4 and kitchen management a 0. And to top it off they only accept cash and visa. no AmEx means no business entertainment paid by the company. I guess they don’t quailify to be an AmEx merchant.

I wanna start out by saying that I love this place. We live down the street and are frequent diners. The sliders, Caesar salad, fish and chips, and drinks are awesome. However recently there have been some changes that concern me. We usually get Caesar salads. We went there today and got our usual, except the portion was half the size. Our favorite drink, NW meets SW is being taken off the menu. This has been expressed to us by numerous staff and other customers that this is the favorite drink but it’s being taken off the menu anyway. Whatttt! Regardless, still love the place. Just please stay the beach house we know you to be!!!

A half dozen local oysters and pork sliders with lettuce wrap make for a great appetizers before the movies date! My husband and I both ordered beer but are looking forward to trying out the cocktail menu next time. The overall vibe is very nice, although we wished we could have sat outside on the deck. Next time!

And yet another Bainbridge Island restaurant that doesn’t get it. Since their remodel, I have been to the bar three times and have been disappointed. The lamb meatballs were delicious the first time we went, second time the sauce was bland. Chopped salad had no taste, vegetables were cut up so small you couldn’t taste anything. I found a feather on my chicken wings. Also the chicken was way too salty. We ordered the house cosmo and my friend, s was only ½ full. Another friend ordered a drink that came way too sweet. The bartender said she had added extra ingredients that weren’t in the menu because«that’s the way I do it». They were very understaffed that night and it took us ½ hour to even get our drinks(they sat on the bar for quit a while). The atmosphere, view and décor is beautiful. They need to get the level of the food and service to match. Bainbridge really needs some good restaurants and I was hoping that the Beach House would be that place. Won’t go back and very disappointed.

This is my favorite bar on the south side of the island. They have a very tasty burger and an amazing patio. It’s a fun place to come and hang out around the fire pit with a cool beverage. You get something here that you don’t get at any other restaurant on the island, a sunset! Our favorite waitress here is Talia S. So, come grab a spot on the patio and have a great time!

Attracted like moths to flame, we wandered into Beach House on account of the inviting fire pit smack dab in the middle of the entrance patio. It’s a cozy little private garden type of place tucked in the second floor or a mixed residential commercial use new development in Lynwood. Wonderful atmosphere, cozy but lively and the happy hour was a great value — $ 1 pork sliders, ½ off oyster shooters and lamb meatballs(highly recommend this one), $ 5 house wine — we had a lovely time, our bones bonfire warmed, and bellies happy full in the summer night.
