IHOP

To start the food was made well and tasted good, BUT we ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they did not have chocolate chips when we got them. Our waitress was not welcoming and did the bare minimum to make sure our experience was enjoyable. She would ask us how we were doing and did not make an effort to ask if we needed anything else, she was gone as soon as she asked the question and made us feel very rushed. Its not even like they were busy, they had a total of 5 tables including our own. I could hear the staff in the back making jokes and being very obnoxiously loud. The restrooms were also nasty and reminded me of a gas station restroom. All in all i will probably not be coming back. I will continue to go to the ihop on rosedale.

Omg while we were eating a cockroach came up from the booth. They came and told us they have been Exterminating twice a week. Needless to say I didn’t finish my food and I didnt pay the check. Not eating there again!!! I didn’t want to give a star but it won’t post. So No star.

Our server was friendly, the service was quick and the taste of the food was fine but the restaurant wasn’t the cleanest. Our table was fine but the table across from us was a mess. The bathroom was a mess too.
$ 18 (after tax, before tip) for an iced tea, a coffee, 2 pancakes, 2 bacon strips, hashbrowns and 2 eggs.

Good service even on a busy day.
Came here for breakfast on Mother’s Day and as expected the queue and wait was long. However the best part is that the lady who served us was polite and really friendly. Even though the place was packed our order came on time and was perfect. Will be back soon.

Horrible service, Got here at 1pm on a Saturday. I wanted to sit by window away from the screaming kids in the middle of the restaurant. So we got sate and about 5 mins later the server passes us and asked the hostess why are they there? So hostess looks back at me and turns around and they walk to back. Then the hostess comes out goes upfront and says why did you site them there, the server doesn’t want anymore tables. The other hostess says she wanted to site there. So then the server passes us by again (still hasn’t asked me for drinks or anything) she goes to hostess and starts talking bad. By this time I was pissed. So I got up and told her if there’s a problem? She said no and gives me this bs excuse. I told her I heard what u said and she denied it. Said I don’t want you as my server and wanted someone else. So got moved to different table and the server was very nice. But had a black hair rapped around my mozzarella sticks (felt like the other server put it there) So didn’t even eat them or my plate. Lol never in my life has service been bad like that. Like if your going to talk bad about someone make sure they can’t hear you.

The WORST service ever. 30 minutes to get seated, about 25 to actually get a waiter to bring me a damn coffee. Waitresses don’t know who is in charge of what table, it’s just a hot mess.
The place smells like armpits and the bathrooms are disgusting. The worst IHOP ever!!!

My mother & I went in at about 2pm today & ended up walking out. There was a woman who worked at this location being extremely loud & obnoxious in the kitchen. We had a very nice & very sweet older waitress who asked us if she could get us anything to drink & we said ice tea. Then my mom proceeded to say, «She doesn’t know how loud she is back there, does she?» the waitress replied, «No she doesn’t. I need to say something to her. She just got off shift.» My mom & I smiled & I said, «Oh that makes sense.» The waitress then went to the back & told the woman to keep her voice down (I’m assuming). She got quiet for about 2 minutes then yelled (& I do mean yelled), «THEY WANT ME TO BE QUIET? HAHAHAHA! I’M NOT EVEN THE LOUDEST PERSON HERE!»
Don’t get me wrong, I am all for having fun at work & talking to my coworkers, but I do keep in mind what I say & do around the customers. Your job is to serve the customers & make sure they leave happy so they come back.
Keep in mind, we were not the only customers looking towards the back to see what was going on because she was extremely loud.
When you begin to disturb the customers, just know that it will reflect on your tip, even your coworkers tip. Just like the nice older woman who was our waitress who got nothing because you decided to be obnoxious & rude over a simple request that you keep your voice down, so us customers don’t have to continue to listen to your daily drama & gossip.

Love their customer service! I go at least once a week and every single time I’ve had a great experience. Love their waitress Mila Jones she even has our order memorized! I also love the chicken florentine they have!

Oh my god I’m coming here this place and you know what the hostess she’s really really rude she need a smile I’m coming like at 2 o’clock 4 hour to go she’s really really rude

We usually go to Golden Ox on Wible for breakfast. I wanted ihop since they have the crepes right now. The visit started off with greasy, sticky menus. Custom orders will cost you a pretty penny. They’ll charge you full price even if you don’t get everything. Needless to say, the food was not better. Crispy hashbrowns really mean cooked with a full stick of butter. Normally you can’t ruin bacon… But they did. I’m sure it’s precooked but still, make it appetizing.
The server, Miranda, was nice though.

I have been here several times, the place seems to generate plenty of money, the food is good, service is ok. But man, I hop the fix those bathrooms soon. :)
Went to wash my hands before my meal and felt like I came out a little dirtier.

Well our server was nice and friendly. The food is pretty good as always no complaints really but the only thing that sucked was they don’t have a diaper changing station so it’s a real inconvenience. Most likely we will just get food to go next time

Ate here after we stayed the night for a graduation in June.
The service was very slow… In fact, had to remind the server that we were there, even though she passed us several times. We asked for coffee, and it took another trip to the front in order for it to be brought to us.
The food was so-​so. We weren’t impressed.

I’m not sure why all the bad reviews. We have always had decent service and the food is typical for the IHOP chain. They says let me order the eggs Benedict off menu (typical for IHOP), my kids love the food, the adults are always pleased. I have even eaten a healthy chicken sandwich and it was very good for a chain restaurant like this.
My only complaint is that there is a long wait and it’s super super busy during prime time. But so is Denny’s across the street and Zingo’s up a couple blocks. When you want breakfast prime time in this area. You have to wait, period.
I have never had a rude server and we have been here 6 or 7 times. If there are any issues they are always addressed quickly with no attitude. Typical IHOP!

Love this place! They have the best pancakes and right now they have some blackberry peach cobbler pancakes with icecream! Can’t get enough of this place. What’s surprises me most is dinner is really good for a breakfast place.

I’ve came here several times in the last few months and figure it’s about time to review.
We have had average service as to be expected at a place like IHOP… The food is sometimes brought out not hot but not cold. So minus one star.
Good breakfast food is all I order here. Mainly the stuffed French toast! Mmmmm
Today it was particularly crowded and took awhile to be seated. While sitting there, I overheard a few workers who were saying that Carrows and Cocos down the street have both closed. Explaining why ihop has been really crowded lately. Interesting…
Anyway I’m not too fond of this place but it is what it is. Average food and service. Nothing more expected.

I eat here often and always order the same thing, crêpe Florentine and have never had a bad breakfast until recently.
First of let me say the service was excellent, the restaurant clean, the food cooked well.
The problem is the Hollandaise sauce… It was absolutely the worst thing ever… So salty I could have been drinking seawater. it wasnt the right color… really orangish– brown and lumpish. I was told that the company recently switched suppliers and this is what they have now and they had gotten many complaints about it and they told me to fill out the survey and make sure I put that in there.
I didnt notice there was only a three day period to do the survey (and complain) so I thought I would put it out here and warn anyone that might be thinking of ordering it.
The employees were wonderful about it, they took the food back, gave me fresh food with the hollandaise on the side (not that i would eat it) and apologized about the food.
This post is strictly about the meal… not the employees themselves. Corporate needs to get the heads out of their hinnies and try this stuff before they purchase it!

We had a really good meal here. It is the usual IHOP menu with yummy pancakes and a good selection of syrup.
One thing I like about IHOP is they have really good coffee since I am such a coffee snob. Nice rich smooth roast coffee.
I had the French toast which was very good and my husband had the breakfast sampler.
His was all cooked perfectly. Hence the plate was clean. Over medium eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes.
Only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is it is need of a little remodel and maybe can be a little cleaner but the food is good!!!

They did a good job seating and serving our group of 16 on a Saturday morning.
Basic food but no disappointments.
