Worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. It was almost an hour from the time we ordered until the salads came out. The entrees did not start to arrive for another 20 mins after and were served only 3 at a time about every 5 mins. So half our party finished their food before the others even had theirs. The manager did not come by and explain the situation and no employee offered an apology. It appeared management did not care or is incredibly incompetent. The food is mediocre at best. If you want cheap well drinks and abuse than this is the place for you.

Brought my wife and mom for a Sunday after service lunch after purchasing a Groupon a month ago. The wife had the Kicking chicken salad, we she thought was okay initially, but once she added BBQ sauce, it improved a couple of stars. I had the bacon cheeseburger with an egg. Serious goodness there. I saved the best for last! Mom had the Southern fried catfish, Steve’s way. Winner winner catfish dinner. It reminded me of a great spot called Appetites, which I thought had the best fish in Bakersfield for years. The rolls reminded me of a place called Ryan’s in Louisiana, which are the best. Sides were above par too! My advice, get there!

The hostess is saying that it’s an hour await but yet there’s only one person that’s waiting for something to eat here. It turns out the general manager Steve took a party of 70 and didn’t staff his restaurant correctly to handle that big party. So while I was here 6 families got turned away and told to go to other restaurants… Good management!!! Anthony our waiter and the evening manager Javier did a great job tying to accommodate my family considering there situation.

Steve is so nice and personally cooked my Tri tip perfectly. The grilled zucchini is great. All the employees are great. Excellent customer service and a bucket of peanuts. What more could you want. Thanks Steve.

Tried this place for the first time the other night. My husband and I ordered the same meal, a rib eye with shrimp. Both were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was so accompanying and checked on us regularly. Great food. Decent prices and big portions of food.

One of the best meals I have ever had! My friend and I had the Nashville trio appetizer. We tried the onion petals, fried pickles, and potato skins. They were all fantastic. The sauces that came with them were all the perfect addition to them. We also tried the buttermilk fried chicken entrée. It was well breaded and cooked to perfection. The pepper gravy pared perfectly with it. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in this area! Yummmmmm!!!

First time impressions go a long way… After trying this place I have to admit that I was surprised by not only the service but the food as well. Meat was cooked to order the way I asked and portions were generous. As for the staff, they gave a family friendly feeling that would make me come back again and again…

Ordered for pick up two MEDIUMWELL rib eyes and the lady repeated the order over the phone correctly. When we come to pick it up, our order was wrong, had to void it, charge us again while they fixed the order. Once they were done, my husband tried checking the food again and the lady rudely said,“it’s right” so we let it go. We get to our hotel, not only were the steaks MEDIUMRARE, no toppings as ordered and the sides were completely wrong. That was absolutely the worst steak we’ve ever had. The only thing that gave them the 2 stars were the proper amount of time the broccoli was steamed and the rolls. Will never eat here again, crappy service, equals crappy food.

We came on a car show day, it was clean when we walked in and were quickly greeted and seated, the free bread was soooo good we got a male waiter who was amazing and didn’t come every five minutes to bug us so I really liked that! I was able to switch drinks with out an extra price .I ordered loaded baked potato and grilled shrimp with steak cooked just right! Flavors were killer enjoyed my meal! Will return again. Try the peach tea it’s Soooo good! Next time I will have to try a desert was too full this time was quiet also and no peanuts on the floor which was good for me since I hate that lol

Wow what a bad experience and didn’t even stay to eat. After waiting more than 30 minutes from the time we ordered, no drink refills by our server or dirty salad plates removed, I asked for the manager to find out the status of our order. Quickly our Server brought out our steaks which were not the least bit hot. After I asked why it took so long, she said our order(for 2) was put in after an order for 22 that were seated outside. Nothing was ever communicated earlier. We indicated the wait and now cold food was unacceptable and left. A suggestion to the manager, communication and supervision of your kitchen, timely beverage refills, even a complimentary appetizer can truly turn a bad situation into a great one. We were ready to pay upward of $ 50+, but now enjoying a hot meal and great service at Denny’s.

Love the food always good but this restaurant had poor service. Between me my wife and our son our food took much too long to be served. The waitress didn’t even ask for refills for bread instead waited on the table of guys behind us who flirted with her. Only one refill for drinks. Also kids were running and chasing around the tables. I hope this restaurant gets better service in future.

The meat Speaks Volumes!!! Harris Ranch Grass-Fed Cattle. Awesome Mondays specials. I attached about 10 pictures. See Unilocal Prime Rib pictures by contributing Unilocal’Rs. Today. Mondays special $ 8.99GF Burger(?) with grilled onions, mushrooms, and lots etc. Sweet potatoe fries. Batter mushrooms(Happy Hour menu $ 4). Never have I had a burger this Juicy. And it was cooked Med Well. Taste like GF. The battered mushroom have a wonderful seasoning. Perfect. Please look at the 10 enticing menu pics I posted. Think Yummy. Gosh. Then Do Yummy. For your Tummy. Im already Dreaming for next. 20 oz Med Rare Premium Grass-fed Beef Prime Rib. Oh. Did I say with my lunch burger special They still brought out 2 very large yeast rolls. Actually shaped and sized like a cressant Oh. Need to post more pics… Update. Return visit. Friday night. 20 oz Prime Rib(no bone, just slab meat). Tender. Meat Grass Fed Beef flavorful. In comparison Hungry Hunter’s Prime Rib much more seasoned. Maybe a bit more tender. LOGAN Server brought 3 rolls. Then refilled the basket. Grilled vegies quite tasty. Lots foods. Took sweet potatoe, 4 rolls home. And lots peanuts. Server came by 3 times. Just a note, tho not complaining. Hungry Hunter’s 20 oz Prime Rib($ 31) includes the big bone and cost $ 3 more. Hint from this Foodie. On a given Night… how do I decide whether to go Logan’s or Hungry Hunter for Prime Rib. I’D ask. Do I want to take home fresh baked yummy Yeast Rolls that night. Some nights THO nothing will do but HH Yum Update. Had dinner Feb 2016 See TENDER steak pic with Crispy Onion, Shrimp Skewer. Lots food. Took half home. I say 4 plus Unilocal stars. But noted several 5 Unilocal stars reviews receint here.

I hated this place when it opened. I tried it today and had fall off the bone ribs, the best catfish, and great service. Our waitress and Steve Hunter, the GM, took great care of us. I will definitely go back.

I have always loved the food at Logan’s. From the 6oz. Sirloin with baked potato and macaroni and cheese to the sliders. I have been to Logan’s a handful of times. However, I have noticed that after I eat at Logan’s I always go home with an aching stomach. This last visit, I noticed that the rolls were not baked all the way. Within 30 minutes I had to leave because the usual stomach ache began. A friend suggested that I might be gluten intolerant. Not sure if that is the case here, as. I have never gotten sick at any other steakhouse. However, I guess it’s time I accept that Logan’s and I must part ways for the sake of being pain free. But I love the way their food tastes. I really do. I love the bar atmosphere from e peanuts in bucket to their moderately priced drinks. I finally tired the Moscow Mule, and it was an interesting taste. I would probably have another Moscow Mule. But I would limit my intake here to simply the bar. The pitchers of beer are ice cold and wonderful here. The service in the bar area I would have to say is lacking attention though. But the bartender is always very personable and nice, however, I would say inefficiency is an understatement. I give 3 stars for the honest attempt though.

Good steak but they overcooked the ribs. Their pulled pork sandwich was outstanding and that got shared due to the ribs. Bathrooms aren’t all that clean, I think you can kinda judge a place by the way they take care of(or don’t) the bathrooms. We were there at an off-peak time, only about a third of the tables had people(if not a quarter) and yet the bathrooms weren’t clean. I would hate to go in during peak customer load.

Two stars for the artery clogging butter covered yeast bread. The day we came the air conditioner was broken. When it’s 90+ degrees outside, that’s a huge faux pas. Get that fixed, ASAP. And don’t seat your guests in the warmest part of the room. Especially when it’s slow and you have options to seat people. I’m not one to be bothered by the heat. It is Bakersfield, afterall. But when the butter is liquified due to the heat, you know it’s too hot. The food was pretty bad. I would rather eat at Chiles, and that’s saying a lot. I ordered the salmon. Was given a side salad first, which was made up of iceberg lettuce, two raw red onions, diced under-ripe tomatoes, and three croutons. When the entrée came out it was a piece of salmon the size of a deck of cards, while the lone broccoli stem was twice the size. That’s it. That was the plate. There’s was more emptiness on the plate than anything. It was the saddest piece of salmon I’d ever seen. I don’t think I’d ever come back to Logan’s unless they improved their menu offerings. It’s truly unfortunate since they have such a nice facility. Their outdoor area, complete with misters, looks like it would be a nice place to hang out in the evenings with friends. Simply put, there’s far better options in the area. Options that actually have a working A/C.
